Booksie Disappointing Experience with Booksie: Censorship and Account Deletion

So, I decided to give Booksie a try and boy was I disappointed. I wanted to share some of my religious content that I had been working on for a while now. I uploaded about six short stories and was excited to see that I had about 25 reads. However, my excitement was short-lived as they deleted my account without any explanation. I was left feeling frustrated and confused.

I cannot recommend Booksie to anyone. It is clear that they cannot handle the Truth. It is a shame that they do not allow for diverse perspectives and opinions to be shared on their platform. As a writer, it is important to have a space where you can express yourself freely without fear of censorship.

Overall, my experience with Booksie was a negative one. I would advise anyone who is looking for a platform to share their work to look elsewhere. There are plenty of other options out there that are more welcoming and inclusive. Don't waste your time with Booksie.

Booksie Booksie Review: Lack of Originality and Constructive Feedback

Booksie is a website that I recently stumbled upon, and I have to say, it's not the best. There are a lot of young people on there who seem to be more interested in boosting their own egos than actually providing constructive feedback. It's a shame, really.

To be honest, I think Booksie is just a copycat of other, better writing sites like writers-network.com and writecafe.org. They've taken everything from the "fans" feature to the "writing portfolio" to the "promoted writing" section. It's pretty sad that they couldn't come up with something more original.

I mean, don't get me wrong, there are some decent writers on there. But overall, the site just lacks the creativity and originality that I look for in a writing community. It's a shame, really, because I think there's a lot of potential there.

If you're looking for a writing site that's truly unique and offers a supportive community of writers, I'd recommend checking out some of the other options out there. Booksie just doesn't quite cut it for me.

Booksie Booksie Review: A Great Writing Community for Hobby Writers

I've been on Booksie for almost 2 years now and I gotta say, it's a pretty cool site. It's super easy to use and there are some really nice folks on there who are always willing to lend a hand. I love being able to share my writing with people from all over the world and getting feedback on my work. It's a great way to improve your writing skills and get some exposure for your work.

If you're like me and you're just a hobby writer, then Booksie is definitely worth checking out. You can post your work for free and get feedback from other writers and readers. It's a great way to get your work out there and connect with other writers who share your passion.

One thing I really like about Booksie is that there are a ton of different genres to choose from. Whether you're into romance, sci-fi, horror, or anything in between, there's something for everyone on this site. Plus, there are always new stories being added, so you'll never run out of things to read.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Booksie to anyone who loves to write. It's a great way to get your work out there and connect with other writers. Plus, it's just a fun site to be a part of. So if you're looking for a new writing community, give Booksie a try!

Booksie Booksie Review: Poor Communication and Lack of Respect for Authors - 1 Star Rating

Booksie is a website where you can share your stories with the world. It's a great platform for writers to showcase their work and get feedback from readers. However, my experience with Booksie has not been very pleasant. I had my stories removed and my account closed without any reason or warning. This has happened to many other authors as well.

It's really sad that a good site like Booksie has denied readers the opportunity to enjoy tales of fact and fiction. As an author, the pleasure of sharing your work with others is removed when your stories are taken down without any explanation. It's frustrating and disappointing.

I have tried to contact Booksie multiple times to ask why my stories were removed and my account was closed, but I have not received any response. This lack of communication is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for the authors who use their platform.

Overall, I would give Booksie a one-star rating because of their poor communication and lack of respect for their users. If they were to reopen accounts and provide better customer service, I'm sure their rating would improve at the speed of light. But until then, I cannot recommend this site to other writers.

Booksie Booksie Review: A Cool Place to Publish Your Writing with Great Stats and Donation Feature

Booksie is a real cool place to publish your writing. It's been around for a while and they've made some real good changes to help writers get their work out there. They got some real good stats and they even got this thing called donate where people can give you money if they like your stuff. That's pretty sweet if you ask me.

The site is real easy to use and it's perfect for new writers who are just starting out. But you gotta remember that no matter where you publish, whether it's on Booksie or somewhere else, you gotta do most of the promoting yourself. But Booksie does help out a little bit with that stuff, like in the forums and stuff.

Overall, I think Booksie is a pretty good site. It's not perfect, but what site is? If you're a writer and you're looking for a place to publish your stuff, you should definitely check it out.

Booksie Booksie: A Supportive Writing Community That Stands Out From the Rest

I've been a part of the Booksie community for quite some time now, since 2009 to be exact, and I must say that it has undergone some major changes over the years. But one thing that has remained constant is the fact that it stands out from other writing sites in a big way. Unlike other sites that use a point system to determine who gets to post new material or who is the most visible, Booksie has no such system. All you need to do is put in the effort and your work will be seen by others.

What I really appreciate about Booksie is the fact that the staff is very responsive when it comes to dealing with problems. They even have members who act as moderators, which is a rarity on most other sites where there is no moderation at all. Of course, they do have some rules in place to ensure that the writing remains PG13, but I can understand why they have to do that since there is no real way to verify ages.

Now, when it comes to the difference in features between a paying member and a non-paying member, I must say that it's not that big of a deal. Sure, paying members get some extra perks, but it's not like non-paying members are completely left out in the cold. And honestly, I don't mind supporting a site that has given me so much over the years.

All in all, I would definitely recommend Booksie to anyone who loves to write and wants to share their work with others. It's a great community that is supportive, responsive, and always evolving. So if you're looking for a place to showcase your writing skills, look no further than Booksie!

Booksie Booksie Review: A Growing Writing Community with Helpful Members and Features

Booksie is a writing site that has been around for a while now, and it has definitely come a long way. While it's not perfect, it's definitely better than most other writing sites out there. The owner/admin is involved and has put some members in place as admins also, which is something that most writing sites will not do. This shows that they care about their community and want to make sure that everything is running smoothly.

Of course, there are issues and things break from time to time, but that's to be expected with any site that is growing. And Booksie is definitely growing. They are constantly adding new features and improving the site, which is great to see.

One of the best things about Booksie is the community. For the most part, everyone is helpful and friendly. Of course, there are always a few troublemakers, but they are usually dealt with quickly. With just a little bit of effort, you can get others to read your writing and get some decent reviews of it. This is a great way to get feedback and improve your writing skills.

The forums on Booksie are also a great resource. They used to be a bit crazy, but they have calmed down a lot and are now a good spot to ask questions and get advice. There are also some great writing challenges and contests that you can participate in, which is a great way to get motivated and improve your writing.

Recently, I became a premium member (Gypsy Rose) and I have to say that for the price, the benefits are well worth it. You get access to some great features, such as the ability to create multiple pen names, access to premium themes, and the ability to see who has viewed your profile. Overall, I would definitely recommend Booksie to anyone who is looking for a great writing community and a place to share their work.

Booksie A Review of Booksie: A Supportive Community for Writers

I'm Raven Leal, and I want to share my thoughts on Booksie, a website dedicated to writing. I recently came across this site and have been impressed with the community's passion for writing. As a writer myself, I appreciate the support and encouragement that I've received from other members.

However, I must address an issue that has recently come to light. There have been some pictures circulating online that were taken without my permission. These pictures were used to attack Booksie and its community, which I find unacceptable. I want to make it clear that I do not condone this behavior and have publicly acknowledged my mistake in writing about the situation without enough knowledge.

Despite this issue, I still believe that Booksie is a great site for writers. The community is welcoming and supportive, and there are plenty of resources available to help writers improve their craft. Whether you're a seasoned writer or just starting out, I highly recommend checking out Booksie.

I also want to address the individuals who have used my pictures to fuel the war between Sage and Booksie. This behavior is not acceptable, and I hope that those responsible will be held accountable for their actions.

In conclusion, if you're a writer looking for a supportive community and resources to improve your craft, I highly recommend checking out Booksie. Despite the recent controversy, I believe that this site has a lot to offer and is worth exploring.

Booksie Toxic Environment and Flawed System: My Experience with Booksie

I recently had an experience with Booksie, and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. The site seems to be plagued with vindictiveness, both from admins and users alike. The "view/read" system is flawed, creating public badges that promote entitlement and a superiority complex among users. Personal milestones such as badges and views should be just that- personal. However, on Booksie, they are used to boost egos and create a toxic environment.

I noticed that readers are unknowingly suckered into clicking posts that generate these reads, which breeds users like hullabafoon22. These users constantly post and boost their content, leaving no room for anyone else on the main page to be acknowledged. It's frustrating to see such behavior being rewarded on the site.

Booksie claims to track stolen intellectual property and copyrighted material, but the content remains, and those who point it out are often ignored or silenced. The new donation option is another breach of privacy, as it requires the release of personal information such as legal birth names and personal emails through PayPal.

I was following an excellent author on the website, known predominantly as Burning Sage, who was recently banned from the site for speaking up about these issues on a public post. As a new user, I was immediately soured by what I had already experienced on the site myself. In my final correspondence with Burning Sage, she spoke clearly of Booksie's intentional lies to justify keeping money she had paid for in advance for services that will never be provided to her, such as entering a writing contest and boosting the post for the event.

It's disappointing to see a website that claims to be a platform for writers and readers to share their work become a breeding ground for toxic behavior and entitlement. This is not a website for intelligent people. If you want to be a hullabafoon22, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, I suggest running in the other direction.

In conclusion, my experience with Booksie was not a positive one. The site's flawed system and toxic environment make it difficult for writers and readers to connect and share their work. It's a shame to see such potential wasted on a platform that rewards bad behavior and silences those who speak out against it.

Booksie Booksie Review: A Great Site for Posting Your Writing, But Beware of Drama and Power Struggles

Booksie is a website that has its ups and downs. There are some people on the site who can be a bit sensitive when it comes to criticism of their writing, and there are also some individuals in positions of power who seem to thrive on drama. One such person is hullubaloo22, who is an admin on the site. I've gone through some of the old forum posts and found that many of the admins and moderators are involved in heated discussions that often result in regular members being kicked off the site. It's a shame because I've seen some really talented writers leave because of this.

One of the few admins who is upfront about their position is B. Douglas Slack, but he doesn't seem to be around much anymore. BooksieGuy, the site owner, has made it clear that arguing in the forums won't be tolerated, but it seems that he only takes action when one of his favorites is being challenged. There are a few responsible individuals in positions of power who try to do the right thing, but they are outnumbered by those who abuse their authority.

Despite these issues, Booksie does have some features that set it apart from other writing sites. For one, it allows you to post anything for free, whereas some sites limit the number of items you can post or the type of content if you're not a paid member. The forums could be a great resource if they were better monitored and controlled. Booksie also works hard to remove spammers, which is a problem on many other writing sites. It's also refreshing to see that the site doesn't show favoritism to published authors over non-published authors.

Overall, I would say that as long as you can avoid the drama and power struggles on Booksie, it's a great site to post your writing. If you do run into trouble with some of the people in power, you might want to consider leaving or creating a new account. Despite its flaws, Booksie is still one of the best writing sites on the internet.

Booksie CS no help

I paid my deposit of $19. Then my daughter warnted to sign up also, so I called paid for both of us. Thought I called booksie. A few days later another $118.43 came out. Called tonight & explained and basically told I'm SOL they are 2 diff comp's & they won't do anything! She wouldn't give me her ID# OR let me talk to a supervisor. So now I've paid for 4 vacations to the same place at $470.26. Also, the other company is a better deal. Although I didn't know they were 2 different places! Jennifer was rude, talked over me & raised her voice more than once!

Claimed loss: 118.43 X 2

Desired outcome: To have this refunded plus the $19

Booksie Review of Booksie: A Supportive Writing Community with Navigation and Administration Issues

Booksie is a website that's all about writing and sharing your stories with the world. It's a great place to connect with other writers and get feedback on your work. However, there are some issues with the administration that can make things a bit frustrating.

One of the biggest problems with Booksie is that the administration seems to have favorites. If you don't agree with them or their chosen writers, you might find yourself disappearing from the site. This can be really frustrating, especially if you've put a lot of time and effort into your writing.

Another issue with Booksie is that the site can be a bit confusing to navigate. There are a lot of different sections and categories, and it can be hard to find what you're looking for. Additionally, the search function isn't always very helpful, so you might have to spend a lot of time scrolling through pages to find what you want.

Despite these issues, there are still a lot of great things about Booksie. For one, it's a really supportive community. There are a lot of writers on the site who are happy to give feedback and help you improve your writing. Additionally, there are a lot of different genres represented, so you're sure to find something that interests you.

Overall, if you're a writer looking to connect with others and get feedback on your work, Booksie is definitely worth checking out. Just be aware that there are some issues with the administration and the site's navigation.

Booksie Mixed Experience with Booksie: A Review of the Writing Community Website

Booksie is a website that I recently stumbled upon. I have to say, my experience with it was a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, I found the site to be quite difficult to navigate. I had a hard time finding what I was looking for, and it took me a while to figure out how to post my book review.

However, once I did manage to post my review, I was pleased with how easy the process was. I was able to share my thoughts on a book I had recently read, and I felt like my review was well-received by the community.

Unfortunately, the next day I tried to log back onto the site and found that it had crashed. I'm not sure if this was due to something I did or if it was just a technical issue with the site, but it was definitely frustrating.

Overall, I think Booksie has a lot of potential, but it could benefit from some improvements in terms of user-friendliness and stability. If you're willing to put in the effort to navigate the site, though, it can be a great place to share your writing and connect with other book lovers.

Booksie Disappointed and Frustrated: My Experience with Booksie's Unjust Account Shutdown

So, I was using Booksie for a while and everything was going fine. But then, out of nowhere, my account got shut down. I was so confused and frustrated because I didn't do anything wrong. The owner accused my sister of opening up accounts, which is totally ridiculous. I mean, why would she even do that?

I tried to explain the situation to them, but they didn't listen. They just kept insisting that I was in the wrong. I even verified my email, but that didn't seem to matter. It's like they just wanted to get rid of me for no reason.

Honestly, I'm really disappointed in Booksie. I thought it was a great platform for writers to share their work and connect with others. But now, I realize that they're just a rip off. They don't care about their users and they're quick to shut down accounts without any real reason.

I won't be supporting them anymore and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration. There are plenty of other platforms out there that actually value their users and treat them with respect. So, if you're looking for a place to share your writing, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Booksie Booksie: A Disappointing Lack of Openness and Free Speech

Booksie is a website that used to let people give their opinions about the site, but now they don't. They don't seem to care about what people say about them, and they don't like free speech. They have a group of friends who they like more than everyone else.
