I've owned my LS 1420 since the fall of 2018 and this machine has been a great machine
I've owned my LS 1420 since the fall of 2018 and this machine has been a great machine. Anytime I've had any issues they generally been small and boss laser generally gets back to me within 24 hours with their tech support. They've also overnighted me parts occasionally. As of December I had an issue this week that they were able to quickly help me with even though it's been 3 years since I've had the machine and their tech support on the phone was able to get me back up and running today. Robert was the technician that help me and he did a great job.

We recently had the privilege of having Josh come and host a training course on our new laser. The customer experience was beyond exceptional. He was extremely proficient, very knowledgeable of the equipment and his delivery of information made this the best training course I've experienced in a long time. Boss Laser already delivers an incredible product that is user friendly and low maintenance. Pair that with their dedicated staff and the subject matter experts they provide for training and it's easy to see why this is a 5 STAR company. Extremely satisfied with this experience!

Over the last few months before our purchase Ken has went above and beyond responding to random questions as we narrowed down our choice. Leo the Boss laser technician was great showing me all the great features of the Lightburn software and LS2440 laser cutter operation. Leo was on time and very professional. We calibrated the mirrors, checked the chiller and air compressor operation and then dived into test cuts on a variety of materials we will be cutting in the lab. We saved material cut and engrave settings into a library for future use. He clearly had a deep knowledge of the machine and software and was good at explaining it to me and discussing how best to manage the machine with students in the lab. He provided me with great follow up material library files and condensed training documents that will get us going quickly.

Ken thoughtfully answered all of my questions, and provided insightful suggestions to improve my lasercutting workflow process. When I first began a ticket with the BOSS support via email, it was a lot of back and forth and the technician was responsive with some solutions, but did not always respond to each question or item in an email thread. I mentioned a couple of times to call me on specific days/times and there was no response to that request. When I finally called the company, the nice woman on the phone told me that in order to get a callback, I had to call the company. I really wish the technician working with me in the email would have said that at the start of our communication when I asked for a phone call. I would have called much sooner! Once I received a callback from Charlie on the requested date and time - he was AWESOME to work with and so patient with me. THANKS CHARLIE!

My organization has been interested in Laser technology for some time. As a trusted 3D Printing shop we wanted to expand into the laser space with engraving and cutting capability. With all of the choices we were having difficulty determining what way to go. After meeting with Ken at BOSS Laser and receiving a professional demo in Sanford Florida we are sold. They are a group of professionals with passion, drive, and integrity. Our order is in the works and we could not be happier with the BOSS experience. They say we will be part of the BOSS family and we believe that is true. There are many options but with the other companies we have investigated we never felt as at home and welcomed as we did during our BOSS experience. I strongly recommend that you speak with them and there is no question that they will not answer. Top notch all the way!

JOSH is a HUGE reason to go with BOSS for your laser and I did not even know it until he came to train me. He arrived exactly when he said he would (8:30am) and hung with me and taught me until 5pm when I told him I thought I was set. He would not leave until I was completely comfortable with what he taught me. He went over everything I asked him to. EXTREMELY respectful and able to put things in terms I could understand being completely new to the laser world. Just an absolutely great enjoyable experience. I also just have to give a shout out to his brother Robbie as well. Robbie is the tech support manager for BOSS. I had some trouble after setting up my machine and Robbie took wonderful care of me and made everything right. Thank you Robbie you and your brother are doing great things for this company. I can not say enough good things about my experience with BOSS. From the initial email I sent inquiring about lasers to purchasing my machine to tech support to training. These guys care and they want you to succeed.

As a serial entrepreneur and business owner for over 30yrs, I've had my share of good (and bad) customer experiences. Very few of them stand out. My business experience with Boss is the exception. 1. Knowledgeable sales staff. and furthermore, knowledgeable staff who aren't afraid to put you on the phone with technical support folks BEFORE YOU'VE EVEN SPENT MONEY, because they understand the importance of an educated decision.. That freakin rocks. These guys get it. 2. Guys who make it happen. I was really impressed at their process for setup & handling of my order, the scheduling and actual execution. Everything was ahead of schedule. They understand setting realistic expectations, but then meeting or exceeding them. The build quality is professional. Customer support is exceptional. My only annoyance was that my deck arrived not fully leveled (I thought that should've been set up at the factory), but I also recognized that I ordered in the middle of the pandemic, BEGGED them to rush the shipment, and they exceeded the ship date expectations. So no biggie... BUT beyond this, when my team was doing install & setup and realized the deck was off, their support team was ridiculously awesome. They emailed every possible piece of info we might need, spent several hours on the phone with my guys setting and configuring, and in the end, we learned more on the phone with them about operation and maintenance, than if the unit had shown up set up perfectly. Our deck paid for itself in the first 5 weeks we owned it, due in part to the help they provided on the phone. That was a real win, in my book. This ain't my first laser. or even my third. It was my first Boss laser purchase... but it won't be the last. I'm actually looking at one or two decks over the next month, and barring some great fiasco, they'll most likely be coming from Boss.
