Myself Mr Salah din and my wife miss Batool booked two rooms along with our two children under the reservation number [protected] for the following dates.
10-12 Aug 2023 at Cavendish Hotel Eastbourne, East Sussex. BN21 4DH
Upon arrivals we were allocated two rooms in basement of the hotel, Room no. 8 and Room no. 10 respectively.
Upon going to the rooms we found out that the rooms were totally filthy, and full of damp smell, along with blocked toilets in both rooms and the smell of sewerage. When we approached the reception they were told due to the busy period no other rooms are available and staff were not cooperating at all, they asked us to wait for another day and see if they can be shifted to another room. we had no choice but to stay in the rooms where their children suffered breathing problems at night and needed to be taken to hospital the following day. Upon explaining the situation only one of the room was reallocated on 3rd floor.
It a nutshell it was a holiday from hell.
My question is, how can a famous holiday chain can allow this to happen, even issue rooms in such feeble conditions with someone with children at first place.
I have attached the video and pics as evidence, The video also shows damp walls of the room, along with the cause of sewerage smell coming from the toilet which kept getting blocked.
