Buildium Abysmal customer service, and lack of basic features that result in constant work-arounds

Abysmal customer service, and lack of basic features that result in constant work-arounds. For example, no way to record payments or refunds for tenants who terminated lease before moving in. If building deleted, undeposited payments stay forever. Shouldn't deleting building remove financials? No way to transfer ownership of building. We manage properties sold from one owner to another, but new owners want us as management. Only solution is creating new buildings, entering all tenant info, financial info, uploading lease docs, etc. Then we deal with doubles of buildings and tenants. Constant issues with online tenant payment platform. We brought up all these issues, but either get "we will mention this to our development team" or no response at all. Tickets ignored at least half the time. Embarrassing excuse of a company.

Buildium Horrible!

Horrible! My tenant paid the rent on Friday, April 17. Yes, it was late but during this corona period where tenants are being advised to withhold rents, I'm very grateful that she paid. I was looking for the rent payment so that I could forward it to the property owner (I'm a property manager). It is now Wednesday and I still haven't received the payment. I contacted Buildium and was put on hold for 20 minutes and upon return to call was told that they are looking into it and I should hear something tomorrow morning. What! I asked her, do you realize how hard it is to collect rent from tenants when the news is advising tenants not to pay rents. Now the tenants are paying and I'm having difficulty collecting from the Property Management software company, this is unheard of. I'm discontinuing the rent collection portion. I won't ever do that again. I can have the tenant *** or *** the money. I think this company is having financial difficulties and property management companies beware. I am demanding that Buildium forwards the payment immediately. This is a bad look for my property management company. Buildium told me that they'd have more information for me tomorrow morning. I don't need more information tomorrow morning, I need the payment that they stole.

Buildium said they would give us back around $460 and an extra month's subscription fee because they took forever to get our info set up on their accounting and property management software. It's been a real pain dealing with them on the phone, and even though they promised, they still haven't given us the refund. On top of that, they keep charging us.

Buildium Buildium is a company that offers property management software on the web

Buildium is a company that offers property management software on the web. My property got sold on 6/30, but Buildium still took out the subscription fees for a whole year in Nov 2021, even though the property was already sold. We only noticed the charge in January 2022. I asked for a refund since nobody had logged in to use the service since June . The company acknowledged that there was no usage, but they declined to refund the fees completely or partially.

Buildium My rental is managed by a property management company using Buildium for finances

My rental is managed by a property management company, and they use Buildium for financial transactions. On 11/16, Buildium transferred $1423.20 to my checking account. However, on 11/18, the amount was withdrawn again. I've contacted both the management company and Buildium repeatedly. Each time, they promise a refund within a certain period, yet the deadline has passed repeatedly without the money being returned.

Buildium Buildium is an online real estate management software that I started using last year

Buildium is an online real estate management software that I started using last year. This year, my annual subscription of $540 got renewed on June 30th without me doing anything. But then, the software's main thing, which is the auto-reconciliation of transactions and bank accounts, just stopped working. They said they're fixing it, but it's still not fixed, so I had to switch to another software. I asked Buildium for my money back, and they said I gotta cancel my subscription first, so I did. But then they said no refund for me. So, I sent them a formal complaint on 10/06/22, and they haven't even bothered to reply.

Buildium On 4/29, I contacted Buildium 'bout a fake listing of my place for rent

On 4/29, I contacted Buildium 'bout a fake listing of my place for rent. Some scammer used Buildium's thingy to put up fake listings on ***, ***, ***, and ***. They said they'd give me a case number and get back to me that mornin', but I ain't heard nothin' back. I've had a bunch of random folks showin' up at my place, sayin' they got approved to rent it. I feel real unsafe, like my security and safety ain't worth nothin'. Buildium ain't takin' no responsibility or givin' me any info 'bout how this happened with my place.

Buildium Buildium ain't been no help at all in gettin' me approved for Premium Tenant Screening

Buildium ain't been no help at all in gettin' me approved for Premium Tenant Screening. I started this whole process back in December , and they said it would take 10 to 15 days. Well, it's been almost 2.5 months now, and still nothin'. I've called Buildium like six times, beggin' for some assistance, but all they do is blame their contractor TransUnion. But hey, it's Buildium who chooses to do business with TransUnion and manages that relationship, so they can't just pass the buck.

Their customer service keeps gettin' worse with every acquisition they make. In the past month, I've given TransUnion every dang thing they asked for, faster than a bolt of lightning. But do they respond to my emails? Nope. Do they have phones to call me? Nah, they claim they don't. I'm tellin' ya, I'm plum tuckered out. I need Buildium to step up and fight for a loyal customer like me.

Buildium I've been a customer of Buildium for two years now

I've been a customer of Buildium for two years now. I have 9 or more bank accounts enabled for Epay with the same LLC entity and address info. I applied for E-Pay with an extra bank account at the end of September. I followed up multiple times in October, but got no response except for an automated message. Then, on October 21st, they asked for more info to validate my address. Seriously? Buildium already has all that info and nothing has changed. I sent it right away, but also asked why they needed it. No response. Another week passed and I had to spend 30 minutes or more on the phone with different customer service reps to finally get the E-Pay application approved. Their customer service has never been good, but it's gotten even worse lately.

Buildium I bought Buildium software for a year

I bought Buildium software for a year. It's supposed to help property managers with their rentals. I mainly wanted it for the e-payment feature. But the risk and compliance team keeps rejecting my application. They asked for info about the owners of the bank account, so I gave it to them. But they instantly denied me, saying I didn't give enough info. I have to start the application process all over again and wait for more business days. It's frustrating because I can't use the software properly while I wait. I tried to get a refund, but Buildium doesn't give refunds. Now I'm stuck with software that doesn't do what it promised. It's really disappointing that they denied me even though I did what they asked.

Buildium I've been using this company's services since September

I've been using this company's services since September . They handle direct deposits for my property owners and online payments for tenants, as well as accounting and such. The thing is, they have really low limits for single transactions. I manage vacation rentals, and often I owe my clients more than the minimum. I can make multiple transactions, but they charge me for each one. It doesn't seem right, you know? I live in ***, and there's a lot of farmland here where Hemp grows well. This year, I facilitated two Hemp leases, and those clients paid for the entire year upfront. It would have taken them 15 transactions to pay their funds. So, I asked for an increase in those minimums, which they say I can do. I explained the situation to the company's underwriter. She just messaged me through email on February 2nd and said my e-pay services were immediately discontinued for my clients' direct deposits, and as of March 2nd, my tenants couldn't pay online anymore. No explanation whatsoever. When I emailed her back, she simply said they don't support Hemp. That's ridiculous! Hemp is federally legal, and it's not their decision what kind of management I engage in. This has been such a huge inconvenience for me, my owners, and my tenants. I'm currently switching to a different platform, and I only need the last bit of information from their program, which is my clients' routing and account numbers from their system. Since they discontinued E-Pay, it seems like I have no access to those numbers. It definitely feels like they're just withholding information from me because they can. I don't want to go back to all my clients and ask for this info, and I shouldn't have to. I think the underwriter for this company (at least the one I dealt with) is very unprofessional and makes decisions about other companies' business based on her personal opinion. I don't live in ***, and things are different where I am. If they plan to serve people in our area, they should be clear about what they support or don't support before making a contract. I need help getting this information from them. It seems like they think I have no rights.

Buildium I signed up with Buildium after discussing my needs with a sales rep

I signed up with Buildium after discussing my needs with a sales rep. I chose them because of the logistics and costs for processing applications. My business model focuses on a 'universal application' that saves tenants time and money. I confirmed that my account would allow tenants to access the application and make electronic payments. However, when the first applicant tried to make a payment, I realized that this feature was not included in my plan. I had to enroll in an additional service called epay, which cost an unexpected $99 and caused delays in my business.

After being approved, I contacted customer service about refunds due to the misinformation. I also had issues with taking payments, even though I had been approved for epay. I was waiting for confirmation that my problem would be resolved and my refund provided, but I never received any calls. I had to follow up multiple times, being told that my issue was fixed when it wasn't, and that my refund was being looked into when it wasn't. I was charged multiple times, even though I was waiting for customer service to address the charges. I also started receiving additional charges without any explanation.

So far, I have paid almost $400 to Buildium, but I haven't been able to process a single application because the credit card payments won't go through. This means I haven't received the service I paid for, and it's causing us to lose revenue. Despite my investment in Buildium, the company is struggling to resolve the technical issue and refuses to refund my money. To summarize: (1) I was misled during the initial sale and had to pay an extra $99 for epay. (2) After paying for epay, Buildium couldn't provide the service. (3) I've been given false information multiple times about the technical issue being fixed. (4) I've been told my refund was being looked into, but I continue to get charged. (5) My last charge was higher and appears to be a double charge for the epay approval. (6) Customer service refuses to resolve the issue due to a 'no refund' policy, despite me not receiving the service I paid for.
