I had recieved a $50 gift card for my baby shower and not long after I recieved it, it was announced that they would be closing. My husband and I went to the store to buy items that we still needed to welcome our daughter to the world. Upon checking out, we were told we were not allowed to use our $50 gift card as they had stopped taking them THREE days prior. I not only had the app but I also had a registry with this company snd not once was there an update posted on the site to inform consumers that gift cards would not be accepted past that date. I tried calling several times for a few weeks and never got a call back or response. Essentially, $50 was stolen from me as we still have not been reimbursed. This was poor customer service and we should have been allowed to use our gift card since that money was already spent. I still havr yet to reach someone for resolution.
Claimed loss: $50 gift card -still havr it and unable to use it.
Desired outcome: I would like reimbursed $50 for the giftcard that I still have and was not allowed to use 3 days after they stopped taking them, with no proper notice ahead of time.
