I ordered stuff from the brick and I was calling to see how I was satisfied with the service I called back to talk to the person I dealt with and the secretary answered she started being very belligerent with me I asked if I could talk to a manager she said some nasty words I asked if I could talk to the owner or anybody else at the store she told me no I ask her for her first name and she hung up the phone on me I've bought many things at the break thousands of dollars tens of thousands and I've never dealt with anybody on the phone like this I'd like somebody to call me to ask to see what what actions can be taken for this doesn't happen to anybody else ever again
Desired outcome: I would like the manager from the brick in red deer to give me a call because every time I called her she sees my number and hangs up
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
The Brick - Delivering damaged tv and then refusing to provide customer satisfaction.
June 29, 2020 I made a purchase at the red deer "the brick". That purchase included an lg 43 inch smart 4k uhd tv. The delivery was delayed by the brick and I did not receive my purchase until the 16th july. The delivery associates carried all items into my residence and set up the bed and mattress set. They left the tv in the box as I did not have the cable box and equipment from the cable supplier yet. On or near the 17th I had the necessary equipment. I laid the tv (in the factory sealed box) on the bed and removed it from the box. I put the leg stands on and then called the cable supplier to set up my cable box. Initial start up seen the tv present a buzzing crackling sound and color distortion in the top right hand of the screen. After a few minutes that crackling ceased and the color distortion cleared. The tv was shut off after the cable set up and not used until 2 days later. Turning the tv on resulted in a total black and grey screen with horizontal and vertical lines throughout with an obvious crack in the screen. I contacted the brick and they sent me to lg for warranty. Lg had me take pictures of the screen and they concluded it was a result of physical damage and sent me back to the brick who lg claims is responsible the brick insisted lg was responsible and had me call lg again. The lg representative was extremely condescending belittling me and instructing me to not call them again; in their decision this was a brick issue. I tried many different supervisors / managers to no avail. Finally the brick general manager of the red deer took charge to see what he could resolve. After many days of no positive results from that manager, he called me to tell me that he had done everything he could do but nobody would accept responsibility. However he did offer / bribe me with "a very attractive discount on a future purchase from the red deer brick. Bottom line, is on the 29 june, the brick received payment from me. The brick delivered a damaged tv to me. The transaction is fraudulent and nothing short of theft by the brick from a customer of more than 35 years. Now they won't answer calls, return calls or emails. Buyers beware... The red deer brick will take your money and deliver you damaged products and not stand up to customer satisfaction.
