Shell

Today I filled up with gas at the Shell service station located at Broadmoor Blvd.in Sherwood Park, and then proceeded to purchase an ultimate plus carwash ticket. As I was driving through the car wash, I noticed that the soap chemicals were not coming out of the sprayer. I checked my truck and it was still unclean and streaky. Since I had not used the truck except for once since the last wash, and it only had rain spots and some dust, I assumed that it just needed a very minimal wash. I returned to the attendant and told him that the car wash was not working and the soap was not coming out. He checked the truck and then replied, "Well, nobody else has complained about it, and your truck is dirty." He gave me another ticket for the car wash . The chemicals were still failing to dispense, so my Escalade remained uncleaned. I returned to the attendant and asked to speak to his boss .He told me, "I'm the boss for now." I asked him to give me the owner's phone number. He replied that he could not give me the owner's phone number and proceeded to call someone on the phone. Unfortunately, he refused to speak in English so I couldn't understand a word he said. Then he told me that the owner did not want to talk to me. I next questioned him, " Then he's not going to do anything about it?." I told him I had been purchasing gas at this service station for many years and if this was the way Shell Canada treated its customers, I would be purchasing gas from Esso and using their car wash. He became very hostile, exclaiming, "Take your business elsewhere." I have taken pictures of the truck after washing it and am willing to forward these pictures to Shell Canada if necessary to remedy their problematic customer service as well as their faulty car wash equipment.
