Writing to you about The stetler Alberta Home hardware that is selling birds For a employee. I had bought a bird a couple of days before Christmas it died 2 days after purchase. So I returned the bird so that can investigate why the bird died so suddenly and asked them For my money back or to replace the bird. They told me they had to wait until their breeder came into workTo figure out what step would be token next. A few weeks goes by and no word from the breeder or the store itself. So I called the store asking asking to talk to somebody who can help me with my situation. Just my luck the breeder was working that day. So I start talking to the breeder and that's when she informs me that there is pa no return policy or refund policy for the sale of their birds. No one told me that prior to buying the bird. I also asked if they took a look at the bird and if they sent it off to to be examined on why it died. I was informed that they had not sent the bird off to be examined on why it died and was told that the bird looked in good health when I when I purchase it. When I purchased the bird it was a fill in working that lunch and had no clue about the bird. Then I proceeded to ask if any of their birds see a vet prior to coming to the store to be Sold she informed me that the bird looked like in good health and didn't need to see a vet prior to being sold because they know what a healthy bird looks like. Now I know there is some kind of policy that prior to being sold of any kind of animal they need to have a clean bill a health and a vet check with shots so that if an animal does have a disease it doesn't spread. I paid over 300 for a bird that was sick.
