Purchased Engagement ring and wedding band in September 2019 costing around $9, 000
3 weeks later saw that diamonds were falling out, luckily I have the warranty and sent for repairs.
I get the ring back and within 3-5 days notice diamonds are missing AGAIN.
RIng gets sent off to be declawed (6 weeks) and I'm promised it won't happen again.
Get the ring back and they loose diamonds again! Always 2-5 missing at a time always around the back.
I have been doing this dance to this date, I have sent the ring off about 5 times, every time for 3-4 weeks. we even went as far as getting the ring made in my size and it still happens. (Took almost 3 months)
Michael Hill is not giving me any support, I feel like my whole experience is ruined, my fiance and I are just devastated. I am told to pick out a new ring but again needs to be equal or greater value and I am given no other options. I am forced to pick something I do not like and have to pay more for the poor quality of jewelry I am given.
Michael Hill needs to stand behind their product and do something to make this right. I have been more than accommodating for them over the past year given that I have not had my ring for a lot of the time seeing that it's gone for repair.
I would like someone to contact me who can actually help me in my situation and come up with a solution.
If not I will have to proceed with claims court and making this public so no one has to go through what I am.
I am 26 years old and I am embarrassed to show my friends my ring and being my age we are all getting engaged and I would never recommend them to go to Michael Hill.
Desired outcome: Full refund or be able to pick out a new ring at its value and given back the difference.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
