DHL delivered my package to wrong address and released my parcel to whoever open the door on Nov.10, 2015. When I pay the duty tax at DHL YVR GW, Richmond, B.C. in the morning, I confirm the signature is requested when delivery. From 11:00 to 17:00 we are waiting for the exciting gift; at 16:30 we found out online tracking the parcel was delivered at 16:05. All I can do is calling DHL customer service centre right away, hopefully they can catch the driver and get my package back before it's too late. The reply from their customer service agent is : all he can do is filing your missing item and wait for someone call me tomorrow. No one can contact driver and nothing he can do. Next day I got a email from " eena c/o wecare @DHL Express Canada", not only their apologies but also their suggestion, they said : for future shipments I recommend asking the shipper to provide the correct value of the shipment. If they undervalue the shipment, that will result in an under payment when it comes to a refund. What a ridiculous service. Being a international courier company, the careless working attitude can not complete their service. No matter what value my package, delivery to wrong address and released item to somebody else is an inexcusable mistake. Whoever has chance need courier service, please make sure " do not choose DHL " !
