East Side Mario's

I was at Bowmanville east side Mario's and learned it was half price app night. I ordered two apps and two beers.
The waitress was great however she kept coming back advising what we wanted was out. Food sold out. So an app menu that has 8 options has been reduced to four. I order chicken parm sliders and mozzarella sticks.

Furthermore I went to pay and wanted to
Use scene pints and I was told that I was t allowed to Use them. I asked why and she said it's app night. I said why weren't we informed. She didn't answer.

There was no announcement of any sell out of food nor any notice about scene point redemptions on app nights.

If I had known I wouldn't have come to this establishment. It was unprofessional and deceitful.

I do expect a response and compensation of $35 for our not so great experience at this restaurant.

We were first told upon arrival the wait time was 15 minutes. We waited 35 minutes to get a seat. Our server seemed less than enthusiastic to serve us and once she took the order we did not see her for over 20 minutes. I had to ask another server to bring us a starter salad. When I finally received my BLT cauliflower pizza it had almost no cheese on it. Was hard as a rock and cold. I told another server because ours hadn't come back to even check on the meals. She said she would try and track down our server. Once she did she the server came over and I showed her. She looked at it and said "yes okay" and would you like to take the rest take home. She didn't offer to replace it. I said I would go ahead and eat it because we waited so long for the food and it was almost 7pm we had arrived at 5:40pm. She charged me full price for everything and didn't care to react to my obvious dislike for the meal. We are frequent customers of this location and have been coming for years. I am so disappointed in the food and the service.

This restaurant needs to just close down. Why do they even post opening hours if they don't operate by them? We have tried to go eat there the past couple of weeks around 9:00 pm and they have been closed! We thought about calling tonight to ask if they'd be open. After not even being placed on hold they were yelling around kitchen "what time we closing". After a lot of "I don't know's" we hear someone yell out 9:15. Well why do the hours posted online and placed on the sign at the front door say 11:00 pm? Adjust the hours of operation rather than closing whenever it's not busy. Very disappointed. We are going to try the Oshawa location in hopes for better service.
