East Side Mario's - Discrimination based on how we look

On Saturday evening
I Never wanted to write a review for my best food place. We go there every weekend. We went yesterday at 7.10

Got seated at 7.16 pm. got server at 7.20 pm and ordered (Tanishk) from the beginning the server was rude because we're Sikhs and the server was Hindu. (the only reason I can c) We ordered greeted him with smiles but the response was rude from beginning, I can only assume because how we look there can not b any other reason. We waited till 7.55 no drinks, no bread and (Tanishk) served everyone around us not use. I had to go request the manager to give us as we had 2 kids and a family of 6 hungry for food. Then the manager (Jay) served us with excellent service. We enjoyed the food but every time (Tanishk) pass by us, we got ignored and felt very awkward. With a big restaurant chain like this was not expected.

I am pretty sure the manager or management will talk to the server once and teach him this is not nice.
Very disappointed
Ruined our weekend mood

I want an apology and a compensation of the amount paid to get this disrespectful behavior

Desired outcome: Full Refund And a apology from the team Especially from the server Because we never said anything rude or wrong thing to provoke anything

All Hindu people hate us Sikhs. One Hindu baby started crying because he was afraid of us for being Sikh. He looked at me with pity and hatred. he was probably less than a year old and already he was discriminating against me. So I grabbed the stroller and threw the baby to the ground. I faced charged. The mother tried to stop me, but I was too quick. She then checked on her baby, and her husband started pounding me. He faced no charges but I face charges.

No I lied about my dad messing with me when he helped my grandmother press charges when I punched her in the face for being in the way.

I still have not gad the parents charge. Even the police dislike Sikh people.

East Side Mario's - manager

Came here tonight with my mom for dinner. After being told to wait to be seated the manager completed ignored the fact that we had been waiting before other customers that were walking in to the restaurant and were being seated. I thought maybe the manager forgot about us so when I reminded her that we were waiting before others being taken care of she replied with a bad attitude and stated "you dont have to worry about them just tell me how many people are in your party?" I found the way she replied to be extremely unprofessional considering she is the manager so I told her to please keep her attitude to herself. She then when on to reply by saying "excuse me? oh I'm not! trust me! I'm not giving you attitude, trust me, ok!" All while in front of other customers! I cannot believe the way she replied and the tone she used. I will never be coming back here again and will ensure my friends and family are aware of the manager at this location as well. I am sad that I could not get her name but she was working tonight at 630pm on dec 13th 2019, heartland location in mississauga.
When asked for her name by another employee the employee quickly muffled it under her breathe and walked away and so I could not catch her name. I have never felt so embarrassed before and am sad because this used to be a regular restaurant I would visit and will no longer be visiting!

Have been contaced by guest experience from the company as they were contacted by me as well and they are very nice and helpful. No longer would like to complain about the company.
