I was approached by a staff saying that I need to put my bag away in a locker instead of beside me, I said I do not have a lock at the moment so she said this time is fine but next time I need a lock. Within 5 minutes the manager came to me and said I need to Put my bag away or leave, I tried to tell her that her previous staff said it’s fine for today, she said okay I’ll be right back, that’s when she got a huge security for planet fitness to approach me and I asked politely to finish my set, he started to get mad and told me to come to front desk to discuss my membership, I said can I have your name he declined, then got up right in my face, I thought I was gonna be assaulted so I started to video and that’s when he hit me and took my phone then continued to make threats, I kept asking for my phone back and he said no then the manager started to call police. I said I’m not gonna deal with this right now and started to leave that’s when the guy grabbed me and tried throwing me to the ground and blocking me from the door, I somehow got out the door then he tried to grab me and hit me asking for the phone password so he can delete the video of him off of planet fitness property after tripping he dropped my phone that’s when I grabbed it and he started saying if I post the video he will find me in public and “[censored] me up” I grabbed it and ran for my safety. I tried to speak with manager where she claimed he was fully in his rights to hit me I’m now filing a assault report but action needs to be taken on planet fitness behalf. I am now to scared to appear at the planet fitness after the assault as I’m only 19 and not as big as him. The time was 1:38pm Ontario time, I am including a video of the assault.
