Even though our sales lady was great, I find the brick to be quick to take your money for a sale but short on delivery promises. We purchased a rather expensive modular couch with chaises and were told it would be completed and delivered in Mid April 2022, however we have just been informed the couch would not be done until July 2022. Meanwhile we are without a couch in our living room. Not impressed. Will not purchase from the Brick in Ottawa again.

The Brick - Appliance delivery
I bought Fridge, Dishwasher and Gas range from Bricks from 565 W Hunt Club Rd, Nepean, ON K2G 5W5. on 22nd Oct 22nd 2020. Order Number : 1022034UQHQ. My new house closing was on 25th Aug 2021 and I have already set delivery date to be on 26th Aug. But I got an call from Brick delivery on 12th of Aug, that came to deliver all my appliance, I refused it as I have not scheduled delivery and also did not have place to store appliance. Dishwasher and Gas range was delivered late, but I do not have fridge still and they are telling it to deliver in December. Sales person and manager are not responding and cannot answer my question who scheduled my delivery date to be on 12th Aug. I don't want refund, I want my fridge asap or interim want fridge to use till I get original one

The Brick - After order manager said there is no inventory and can’t deliver appliances
I had such a bad experience with The Brick, I ordered appliances on August 14th 2021 and the delivery date was provided on September 16th 2021.
I called The brick regarding delivery as I took the day off from my work. I come to know they never ordered, I went to The Brick on ottawa west branch at 565 hunt club, ottawa and the manager was super rude, she said "I cant do anything at all"
She was not at al helpful then she said we can order another appliances. We already ordered the appliances, we paid for it, we confirmed the delivery date as September 16th, 2021.
We followed up again with (sales person) on September 2nd, 2021 and ordered and paid for more stuff she said everything will be delivered on time.
We did our due diligence and followed up on September 2nd with Sales person and September 15th to make sure delivery and now they are saying they never ordered the product. While buying they confirmed that the product is available and will be delivered on time and now that are saying they cant do anything. That is totally unacceptable, I don't need refund I need the same appliances as I ordered a month ago.
I cannot do any adjustments as I is not my problem. Seems like my mistake is only that I ordered stuff at The Brick
Please handle this situation asap.

The Brick - Black rocker recliner: item code DROGBA W:W Vendor: 0371
I purchased a warranty for 5 years on my recliner in July 2019, and the vendor refuses to honour the warranty because the technician said it was peeling. It was not, it started as small cuts, and it accumulated into more damage from these cuts.
I am hoping your company has some integrity somewhere at the very least, and can do something about this issue as we're very upset to have been treated like this in light of how much we spend at the Brick each year for furniture.
I hope to hear a response or at the very least some sort of solution to this issue, because this is unacceptable if this is how the Brick treats it's customers who pay for products and are given inaccurate assessments as to why they cannot honour the warranty to said product.

The Brick - I'm complaining about delivery of fridge
whenever we purchased fridge at that time they said your fridge come within 10 to 15 days after that it didn't come so we called them and they said next 15 days. it became 3 times, after that i went to the brick store and then i got new delivery date after 7 days then also they were wrong. after a 4 months without fridge how can i live . still didn't get any reply from there they are not receiving call.
They cut my calls.
I have really bad experience for that never bought any things on bricks .
mever do trust on bricks.
my payment bill was 12000$ then also they didn't care for us.

The Brick - Appliance order
I spent over $6000 on 6 appliances & the dishwasher & dryer are not the ones I ordered. The dishwasher is a lower model & the dryer isn't the match to my washer. Because I was renovating the kitchen & bathroom, the delivery guys suggested to leave the appliances in the boxes until I was ready to install them & advised me if there were any issues to contact the store. I contacted the sales rep but haven't gotten the issue resolved. I just want the dishwasher & dryer that I ordered. Also trying to contact the store is impossible. Either no one answers or the rep doesn't return my message. I tried 2 weeks before getting a hold of the sales rep. He wants to give me $250 in gift cards without replacing the appliances. I don't want a lower model dishwasher. And as for the dryer, why would I order from 2 different sets? The rep admitted to making the error for the dishwasher but apparently I have to keep the wrong one even though it's my money & his error. I am not a happy customer. I had a good experience a few years ago but this is definitely ridiculous.
The Brick - Wdta50sz dishwasher ss
On August 24, 2018 I purchased a dishwasher, range and fridge from the Brick, to be delivered August 1, 2019 to my new home at 221 Bandelier way, Stittsville Ontario. A voucher was issued to me by the builder to purchase these appliances I upgraded by over $2000. I called the brick twice once in June and once July to confirm the delivery date. Paul confirmed everything was fine. August 1 the delivery did not happen. In the afternoon I tried to call again to see why there was no delivery but I wasn't able to get anyone. I then tried other bricks none of the bricks in Ottawa could confirm Where My appliances were. They kept on saying that I needed to speak with someone in the store where I purchased them . I tried again to contact the store I dialed Paul's number there was no answer I then dialed Andrew's number there was no answer I tried three times left a message no calles we're returned. later on the day my daughter physically went to the store located Andrew and asked where the appliances were. Finally he located the appliances and realized there was a mixup also the appliances were listed as pick up no delivery. He said that due to the error, he would have the appliances delivered as soon as possible. They were delivered the next day he also said that because of the error he would have a technician in the delivery truck to install the dishwasher. That did not happen which was fine. So I contacted Andrew again to see when the dishwasher would be installed he said I would
have to contact the technician to make an appointment. He also said that because of the error, he would contact the technician and have him give me a courtesy call to set up an appointment. Five days later, today the seventh I'm still waiting for someone to call me. I tries to contact Andrew again this morning at 9 AM he was not available left a message. As of now 3:30, I have not received any calls. Needless to say I'm frustrated not very happy and very disappointed with the service. I have already paid for installation and I am very close to returning the dishwasher for a refund. Not to mention that between July 29 and August 1 I spent close to $13, 000 in furniture at the brick for my new home. I would expect more. let me know what you can do for me about this. The Brick - Horrible customer service
I am writing for the second time in regards to a issue I have been having time and time again at the 565 West Hunt Club Road location. I call to talk about an issue with a manager and never have my call returned. I am super frustrated and I can assure you the experience I had at this location has brought me to the decision of not buying anything from the brick every again. I would like someone to email me back please, I don't appreciate being ignored and lied to. Again this is the second time I'm submitting about this issue and I'm tired of associates of the brick trying to brush me off.I have spent almost $20, 000 dollars on this invoice I have an issue with and due to an associate making a mistake I am sitting here with no answers, or at least the store manager said he would call but has not and when we try to call to talk to him he always seems to be busy. What kind of customer service is this? We are kind and patient people but we losing our patience with the way things are being handled or not handeled to be quite honest.

The Brick - Extended warranty on sectional
I bought a sectional from The brick about two years ago and bought extended warranty for that product. The cushions of the sectional are now continuously sinking and I called the brick to avail the extended warranty. But they outrightly rejected my case and said that sinking cushions are not covered under the warranty. I was shocked to hear this because I got this sectional as a replacement of my earlier sofa which was also under extended warranty and which was having the same issue of sinking cushions. The sales person during the time of purchase of this sectional advised me to buy the extended warranty and specifically mentioned that sinking cushions will be covered in the warranty again so if I face this issue again I will be covered and so I need not worry. Now when I am availing the warranty they sternly reject it. This seems very unfair and clearly shows that they make all false promises when they have to sell an extended warranty and now when I have an issue and want to avail the warranty they turn their back towards me.
