East Side Mario's - Manager Keith and more...

On August 29th 2021 My family and I attended East Side Marios at 675 Kirkwood Ave, Ottawa ON K1Z 8NF for my Mother's birthday. When we first arrived with a reservation made for 5 pm our table was not set up or ready we see that there is a really nice long put together table set up with high chairs and ask why we are not seated there and they stated that's there 5:30 reservation, our tables were not even put together so my family had to get up and move to talk to each other. The temperature in there was beyond freezing, my whole family had to go out and get sweaters and the children were cold as well. Once apps were brought to the table, mine was never brought. It was forgotten. By the time everyone finished their apps I decided I no longer wanted the one that never came because I was now in a rush to go pick up my kids (it has already been 1 hour of us being there and only getting appetizers) when the waitress came by I had asked her to take it off my bill since it never came and I was now in a rush, she did not want to take it off the bill instead insisted I get it rushed and take it home. I said no thank you, I would just like it off my bill since I never even got it. She agreed and I thought that was the end of it, until Keith the manager came out very loudly, "what is going on over here? Heard you were not having a good time how can I fix that right now" when myself and a few other family members were trying to explain what has been happening he would not let anyone speak just kept cutting us all off and saying "what can I do right now!" he then began to scream at me directly and tell me that I put his waitress in a distraught state and belittled her... At this point, I to got upset and raised my voice as well to tell Keith that is not true and I just didn't want to pay for something I didn't get at my table. He continued to yell at me and make me feel small until I cried and had an anxiety attack, another waitress apologized to him and went and got me water to help me breath. Our food then came out and I could not even eat due to how much stress he just caused me he also came back to the table after we got our food to continue to make me and my family uncomfortable others eating were staring and he made a huge scene, and I could not stop crying. My husband and I promptly packed our food and left, and for the rest of the night I had a hard time doing anything do to my mental health being affected so badly. My sister in law told us just leave and she will worry about the bill because no one should have to go through that.
