I want justice. Remove these 2 employees from your store, 3rd includes manager. They are all one.
Wednesday 11, 2021 at 8:55pm I enter food basic 45 overlea Blvd Toronto, Ontario, canada.
I want to pickup 2 stuff, corn which I pack in a shopper bag, 8 pieces and then I saw another customer not wearing a mask, I told the employee about him not wearing a mask, employee ignored him, and ask me to stand in a line for cash out my stuff and even he told me it is okey if he is not wearing a mask, I aked him is he sure, then I removed mine too, he got offended and told me I can not go for shopping, if I go I will not able to buy my grocery. By this time I have two bags of corn, total 8 corn in my hand, I walk towards back of the store to see friend of mine, it was so quick, if you watch video you will know how quick I walk. Walking faster is my habit. I always walk fast.
By the time I came back 4 employees of food basic stopped me, one of them abused me, and other one " same 1st guy who had an aggressive arguments snatched my corn bag from my hand and before my snatched a bag from my hand he removed his blade cutter from him pocket. Why... to kill me, or to cut me.
Food basic employee are the worst employee in this world.
If you don't believe me check out there behavior towards customer, specially in this location.
I need someone to take an action about it, if you don't believe me Watch store camera you will understand how difficult time it was on me.
Food basic employees are Gangsters.
These kids need to learn a lesson by throwing them out of your store.
I will be talking a legal action, if I will not get a justice.
Best regards

Dear sir,
1) we shopped at your foodbasics store #672, phone [protected] in the late-evening of 13october2010, located in the east york town centre shopping complex at 45 overlea boulevard, near don mills and overlea boulevard [and the ontario science centre] in toronto, ontario m4h1c3.
2) while we were shopping for frozen-orange-juice in the frozen-juices section of the store, a grocery-stocker, white, male, with blue eyes, approximately 5’9” tall, with unshaven stubble, balding head, displaying a name-tag: “chris” was purposely blocking the path, and ignoring us waiting for him to let us get a few cans of frozen orange-juice.
• after waiting for him for over 5 minutes, we politely said: “excuse me sir, we want to get some frozen orange-juice”. he yelled at us publilcly, in front of other customers in the store: “#ing moslem terrorists! go back where you came from”.
• he would not let us get the item either.
3) we asked the young, white, blonde-haired, female cashier at cash-register-number 06 to get the manager for us.in response to her question, “why?”, we briefly explained the incident.
• she replied grinning and smirking at us, in front of other customers in the store: “the manger is gone home now. I am in-charge!. come back tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.”.
• effectively, she did nothing about this racist comment, other than give us the run-around, and support the fellow caucasian-white grocery-stocker “chris”.
4) it is indeed shocking to note this display of racism by your employees in a predominantly visible-minority area of toronto.
5) your staff had no legal basis to pass such an offensive racist comment at us.
• and we are rightfully legally entitled to sue your staff for mental anguish, pain and suffering caused to us for their incorrect actions and the consequent public humiliation that we suffered in front of the passers-by and public-at-large.
6) your staff did not apologize to us.
7) therefore, we are now putting you on notice to provide us a written apology for this incident within 07 calendar days of today [at this email address, i.e. [protected]@yahoo.com,
• failing which, we, at our option, may choose to exercise our legal rights to sue you for libel, public defamation, loss of good name, public humiliation, and any consequent mental anguish, pain and suffering and any other legal consequences that we have suffered, as a result of the false and incorrect actions of your professional staff, who were wearing your uniform, on your premises, during your store-hours, and we were customers in the store.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have been shopping at the Food Basics at Bradley and Ernst for 3 yrs. and have always been able to get peanuts in the shell for my Blue Jays and squirrels until this week. The store people tell me that the warehouse is to blame as they can't even order them. Please get them back in store on a regular basis. Jim

Hello,
Please make sure to provide fresh bread to your location near Sheppard-Yonge subway.
Especially the Pita bread. It is dry and not fresh.
Thanks,
Narine
I have your app on cell phone and took photo of bar code for special since I don’t have data when I leave home. The photo of barcode won’t work in store or even by manually typing in barcode number to get the special. Is there any way to get around this in order to be able to use the barcode without showing the actual app at checkout?
I bought 2 x 1.89 L both were too thick to use. I went and got another one. It was too thick. Normally this product is good. All have same date of May 26 and it is not May yet. It is April 17th. I have now lost almost $12 and cannot have cereal or make my crepes.
On March 27 I walked into Food Basic on Kerr Street. I picked up 2-$250 vanilla gift cards
I was assured they'd work
,They didn't
Took back over with receipt
She'd refused to refund my $500
Asked why they were selling cards that don't work
