We purchased furniture- sofa and mattress from the Brick on the 29th of September. We called to complain about the mattress on 5th of October to return the mattress. They told us that we cannot return anything we already purchased. We were told we must wait till after 21days to be able to exchange.
We cannot wait for 21 days because the mattress is not comfortable, we experience pain sleeping on the mattress.
We make them realize forcing us to wait a 21 days and forcing us to exchange instead of giving us a refund is contrary to the consumer law.
Desired outcome: We need a refund for the mattress and the pillow bought less than a week ago from the Brick
We purchased a set of living room furniture and a mattress and pillow that was supposed to alleviate some of our sleeping problems. We contacted them on the 5th to report that we would like to return it because it is causing more sleeping problems for us. We were shocked when they replied that we have to wait until after 21 days to exchange but no refund. We pointed out to them that this is against consumer law.
The Brick - Warranty not honored
I bought appliances form the brick with the extended warranty and now that cooking is'nt working they won't repair nor replace the oven.
Beisdes of all that they send a technician that only cam to tell me that there is nothing they can do about it.
The oven cough fire that same day.. Endangering my family.
I called this morning to at least get someone to come look at it again, and they put me on hold for minutes and then hang off.. I called again and the customer service lady just kept rejecting my calls.
Then I called the store and there was nothing she could do although they are the one that sold the appliances and the warranty...
The Brick - fake warranty!
Be Warned that salesman at The Brick in Gatineau, QC will try anything to add a warranty to your items. This warranty being a complete Fraud with false claims. I was shown an actual document which covered pet damage, such as clawing, and was talked into believing this to be part of the Global 5 year warranty. When I called to get some light pet damage repaired a year later, they told me that in NO WAY was this covered and they will not give me my money back for the false warranty. Thanx José Alberto P, I hope you choke on my 160.00$ you liar!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

WE WERE SOLD WARRANTY BUT NOW DOPNT WANT TO GO ON THE WARRANTY
THEY ARE TOSSING US AROUND AND CHASING THEM
