Cabins USA review: Very Unsafe procedures 5

I reserved a Cabin on Thursday May 15 for the next day. So we checked in on May 16. They gave us our cabin address and the code for the door keypad. We went out to our cabin and went in and people were in our cabin. We quickly left and went outside to call Cabin's USA and Complain...only to be put on hold for 25 minutes and be told that they didn't have time to help us. We drove all the way back out to Cabin's USA office in bumper to bumper traffic. There we were told that they double booked our cabin by mistake, that we would not be charged anything for our weekend and they were giving us a place to stay. I was somewhat satisfied with that but it still didn't help the fact that we could have got shot by the other tenants in the cabin that were there first. I had my kids with me, it was very scary. And then we got treated rude by the staff and had to drive all the way back to the office. Ok so we went to our new cabin which ended up being disgusting, dirty, stinky and full of bugs and cobwebs. By this time it was 11:30 and the office was closed so we stayed. The next morning bright and early we got up and went back out to Cabin's USA office to complain some more. Again they really could have cared less. We were told that no one ever told us that we were staying for free. Finally after arguing for a while they refunded all my money but never apologized or offered any kind of compensation for all that we have been through. This was a car show weekend and we couldn't find any rooms and the ones that was left was a fortune, so we ended up having to leave and stay in Johnson City, TN. I am disgusted by how this company treated us and no one cares. So please if you can help it then don't stay at Cabin's USA.

My name is Shelly and I have used Cabins USA several times over the past 3 years and have had an amazing experience each and every time. It makes me sick to see this complaint because of the superior job they have done with me. I'm sorry they made a mistake with you, but you wanting to reach out and hurt them back is ridiculous in my opinion. I hope when you make a mistake in life some one comes on here and announces it to the world. What about the other hundreds of customers that had great experiences with then while you were there? I'm sorry for your vengeful spirit and hope everyone knows how awesome these people truly are.

I believe that you are insensitive for the way they were treated. I feel real sorry for them. There are so many choices in Gatlinburg, so if I select this cabin rental I want to be treated like I matter. I got bad service also and I will never rent from them again, there are just too many choices and Gatlinburg is so beautiful to be stuck in a cabin that is not suitable for my family. I completely understand their pain.

I paid a deposit on a cabin with Cabins USA just 3 days ago. I was planning on taking my family there for the month of June. When we saw the disaster on the news it was unbelievable. I called cabins USA to see if we could get our deposit back because of everything that is going on there. Even two people from my city are Missing, even though I don't know them the desire to go is gone. The rep said that we could use the credit for a cabin in the future. She said that the cabin that we had reserved is OK its just the cabins around it that are destroyed. I stressed to her that because of whats occurring we would just like to receive our deposit back and we would reschedule at another date. She said that the only thing she could do was give us a credit for a later date. I really feel bad for the people in Gatlinburg but the customer service at Cabins USA is bad and I wont ever take my family there again.

We visited Cabins for you on June 8th through the 13th 2018. We rented a cabin called Absolutely Viewtiful . We paid $1135.00. The cabin has the potential to be very nice, it was a 3 bed room cabin, but it is very outdated. It looks nothing like the photos. There are very small TV's in every room, the cable boxes are old and the remotes are not user friendly. The outdoor deck flooring is old and worn with pretty nice size gaps in them. The grill outside was dirty and nasty. The floor in the down stairs game room was very stained, the bathroom had missing tile and the tub tile had visible work done that had not been completed. The tube was nasty but the worst thing was when I took the sheets off to wash them before sleeping on them. The mattress had large reddish brown stains at least 3 large stains. My husband refused to sleep on it even when I washed the sheets. I attempted to sleep on it anyway and was eaten up by bed bugs. The remaining 3 days, I slept on the couch and my husband slept on the floor. My 80 year old aunt's bed had stains as well. The mattresses were old and should have been replaced. We made the couch for her to sleep on as well. There was a nice full size washer and dryer but the dryer made a horrible sound when turn on, it was so bad that when we dryed clothes we would have to leave. It seemed as if management didn't do walk throughs before renting the cabins. I voiced my concern and someone from management named Destiny called me she was very apologetic and even said that she believed me. She offered to give us a refund of $319.00. The offer in my opinion didn't not make us whole because we couldn't sleep in the beds that were provided and I got bitten by bed bugs. Our conversation was on Tuesday, the night we returned home. She said that she would process the return on Wednesday. We didn't hear from anyone on Wednesday, when we called they said that she wouldn't be back until Friday. I waited until Friday evening no one called. I called and Destiny would not come to the phone but she sent a message by the person on the phone to tell me that she was trying to give us the $319.00 refund but had ran into a snag. She said that she was trying to get in touch with someone higher in management. I do not advise anyone to visit these cabins the customer service is bad and sleeping on a blood stained mattresses and getting eaten by bed bugs is not acceptable. Poor customer service, Poor management, Poor cabins.

Cabins USA are a disgraceful company just out for the money
