I experienced the most rude guest service interaction of my career at Ceasars palace. The man's name was Daniel. It was 1230 10/27/23. He was not helping anybody at the desk and I simply was needing to arrange transfer to the airport in the am. I apologized as I approached him but could I ask him a quick question. I have never been met with such disrespect. He didn't even look up as he informed me he would not assist me as he was very busy. I stated I simply had one question, he said he didn't have time to have lengthy conversation with me and I would have to get in line. I told him he has already made the conversation ten times longer than it needed to be. He said he would answer my one question. I asked "is this where I can arrange a transfer to the airport?" he said no and refused to tell me where to arrange this. He just simply told me I could speak to his manager and to get in line. I have asked to speak to his manager and been told it could take up to 48 hours, then 72 hours, then that I would be able to speak to them and it has now been 4 days with no response. Please tell me this is not the new guest services standard.
I was in town for a continuing education for my license. While comparing notes with my colleagues multiple attendees had a negative interaction with the front desk (more than one person had a negative interaction with Daniel in particular).
I am just frustrated with the lack of response and the total disregard for customer satisfaction.
I won't be back and I will not attend any more conferences that are held here.
Claimed loss: Respect for your organization. I will no longer support any groups that do business with this establishment.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology from Daniel. He was unnecessarily rude and hateful and was more than smug about speaking to his manager as he obviously is aware there is no follow up or recourse for his actions.
