This is everything my friend said it would be and more. Joining Cape Fear Boxing is exactly what I needed in my life. I need structure with my health and my activity. I'm not a horrible eater but I do love ice cream. I did drink a lot of wine also. Now this is my life. I love it! I'm happier. I am more confident. I don't even want to eat bad or drink bad things because these workouts are so challenging and I don't want to mess up my progress. In 21 days I have lost 10.2 lbs! It's crazy. My goal was 7 lbs in 6 weeks! I am just so excited to see what happens in the next 6 weeks and the weeks to follow. I'm all in! I feel like after every class I have made a huge accomplishment with an extended family! We cheer each other on the inside or vocally. We can never have enough encouragement and accountability. I would highly recommend CFB. There is no way one could ever regret this move. What an investment on my life!

Cape Fear Boxing has changed me into a happier, healthier, and more active person which has made me be able to do things I never thought I'd ever be able to do. I couldn't ever stay awake throughout the day before I joined Cape Fear Boxing and now after only three weeks of classes I have never need a nap and I feel so much better throughout the day! My physical and mental health has changed in the best ways possible and it is all thanks to this place! I have lots 9.7 pounds of body fat in just 21 days and I continue to keep losing! I am excited to see what the next three weeks bring me with Cape Fear Boxing! I couldn't have done this without them! Before I joined the ladies boot camp I was eating greasy foods all the time and never really being active. Now that I joined CFB my body hates me when I miss a day! I promise you if you think you are the most out of shape person in the world you are not alone because that's what I thought too! I set an appointment with him and he explained everything and got me into a 6 week transformation program. Shout out to him and Chase! They made me feel so welcomed and I just had a feeling that I could count on them for probably anything. Not only the support of all the coaches and the ladies in this program but also the workouts changed everything for me! I lost 11.2 lbs OF FAT in 3 weeks! I gained muscle as well. I would 100% recommend this gym to anyone. The people are amazing and truly want to help you reach your goals. Thank you again Cape Fear Boxing!
Before I started the program at Cape Fear Boxing, I had tried so many different things to get fit and lose weight. None of which were very successful. I didn't have the accountability or push outside of myself. There is nothing against at home workouts, but they are not for me. I will talk myself out of a workout if I am not committed to something or someone. In the 21 days that I have been there, I have lost 7.8 lbs. of body fat. I am more mindful of the foods that I am eating and working out daily. Having the accountability of the coaches and the other ladies has really been what I needed to get my butt in gear with my overall health. I love showing up every morning to workout with very welcoming and encouraging ladies. My days are so much easier to tackle everyday stressors. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to make a change in their life.

While I enjoyed the relaxing and extremely gentle pace of Pilates stretching, at 53 yrs old, I knew (because my doctor told me) that I needed to add weights, move more and get my heart rate up. Better still, I gained even more in the way of strength, healthy, new habits and a supportive community that celebrates every success along the way. At Cape Fear Boxing, there is no where to hide. And that's a good thing! I feel seen and supported 100% by the best fitness team in Wilmington. The staff has checks-in, checks-up, holds me accountable and is right there for me - holding space so that I succeed in reaching my goals. I started at CF boxing because I wanted to try something new as well as get with some coaches that would keep me motivated. I have loved CF boxing so much! Every workout is different, challenging, and FUN. I lost almost 6lbs of body fat in the first THREE weeks. I never thought I would enjoy classes as much as I have, and classes have become one of my favorite things to do now. The coaches are helpful, and motivating. It is a wonderful fitness community to be apart of! I am VERY thankful I found this place!

Before coming to Cape Fear Boxing, I had been trying to motivate myself to complete home workouts for months. I'd get excited about some sort of 30 day challenge but never really pushed myself. I had added some fluff over the last year or so and had been looking to try something new. So many times in the past when I've had gym memberships, I just wandered around and spent way too much time trying to decide what to do. At Cape Fear Boxing, I love that the workouts are planned out. I'm in charge at my job and make decisions all day, it's so awesome to go to Cape Fear Boxing and having everything all planned out for me, no decisions needed, just go and do, and get in a solid workout. I get out all the stress from my work day and go home feeling released and refreshed. I would definitely recommend this gym to others because the people are awesome, engaging, supportive, fun and encouraging! It's really pushed me to be more focused and determined on my fitness journey and realize that I thrive on structure and support from others to keep me motivated!
I was active prior to the program but not on a consistent basis. With increased hours at work due to the pandemic, I was struggling to maintain an exercise routine. In spite of the pandemic, in order to maintain my health I needed to incorporate an exercise program back into my daily routine. Besides weight loss, CFB program changed my life in numerous positive ways. Increased energy, boost in confidence and mood, and improved sleep routine. In 3 weeks I lost 10.1 lbs of body fat. This was a direct result of proper exercise and nutritional guidance. I would recommend CFB program. The use of exercise variation is key to obtaining results. Boot camp definitely improves motivation and accountability.
Before I started the challenge I was eating lots of fried foods and starches were my favorite. I never worked out, and would have never attempted to run at all.
After 21 day with the program I have lost 6.4 pds. Of body fat. My 6 week goal was 6.9. I have changed my diet completely with the guide coach gave me.and no fried more foods for me. I feel better about me and I am so much healthier. I can actually run laps around the gym and not die.
I am so excited that I am on this journey and that the coaches are amazing! They are all so supportive and they push us enough to keep us going. Giving up is not an option and I love it. I would and will recommend the challenge to everyone. I honestly never thought that I could be healthy and here I am only 21 days in. When my 6 weeks is up I will continue to go. Before Cape Fear Boxing I was sidelined with a knee injury and therefore couldn't workout very much. I did a little walking, bike riding and lifting weights (not much of this)! After seeing an ad on Facebook I met with Coach and decided the 6- week boot camp was definitely something I needed. After my first class I was HOOKED! The class instructors are very good and so so motivating. I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to get in better shape - whether it's just to move, lose weight or tone up. Once the 6 weeks was up - I did my final weigh in...the results for me were great. I was so happy! I lost 13.4 lbs, 8.1% body fat, and 16.3 lbs of FAT! I also gained 1.9 lbs of muscle and my blood pressure went from 132/80 to 116/70. You gotta try it! It's really a wonderful place to workout.
Cape Fear Boxing has been such an awesome addition to my life. Before I joined, I spent a lot of my time wishing I had the motivation to get up and workout. I was a member at a popular gym but it was a waste of money and time. I would show up and have no idea what to do, get some measly workout in and leave feeling like I hardly accomplished anything. Or I would try to workout at home by following online classes. I'd do one or two a week and then give up, crawling back to the couch. I was depressed, had no confidence or self esteem, and felt like I wasn't living up to my potential. I love boxing and thought that maybe I should try a new boxing gym. I saw an ad for a 6 week challenge and decided that it was a sign to begin something new and challenging. All I can say is I was hooked after the first class. The 30 minute classes have the same format, mixing HIIT, weight lifting, boxing, and more. BUT each class is different and every time the workout is fun, engaging, and challenging. Each week we learn a new boxing combination. For those interested in boxing, we get to use speed bags, shadow box, work on the heavy bags, and do mitt work in each class. The one thing I love about this gym is that the coaches believe in you and motivate you to push past limits you thought you'd never reach. Some of the exercises are those I'd never do alone and am surprised I can actually do. I've lifted weights in this class, that alone, I would never have reached for. In the six week challenge I was a part of, I lost 7.8 pounds of body fat, gained about 4 lbs of muscle, and lost an overall 3lbs! I didn't join for the weight lost specifically but I am so proud of the results! The structure this program offers is everything I need in a workout program and on top of that, it's actually so fun and something I look forward to every day. The music is loud, the coaches are awesome, and the ladies we workout with are so inspiring! If you are ready to invest in yourself and your well being, I highly recommend Cape Fear Boxing.

Everything I was trying to do before I got into this program was just not working
Everything I was trying to do before I got into this program was just not working. I tried the at home workouts, changing eating habits, etc. I just was not motivated enough. It was so hard to do it alone and hold myself accountable. Welllllll! Joining Cape Fear Boxing has changed all of that! Being around encouraging individuals who hold you accountable and cheering you on is just the motivation I needed. I always feel so welcomed and we are like a big family. Just being able to see the small changes myself and others too made me realize that I definitely made the right decision for my mind, body, and spirit. I lost 5.8 pounds of body fat in 21 days! When are mindful of what you are putting into your body, it makes all the difference. I couldn't have done it without you all. The planned workouts are fun and challenging but it really gets you moving. I never thought I would be waking up super early to get to the gym and excited about it! Can you relate? I'm a woman in my 40's trying to juggle family, work, and life. Then you add in a pandemic, virtual learning, and a seriously ill family member and I found myself in a bad place. My health, weight, mental and physical well being had been put on the back burner for too long and it showed. I has heavy, out of shape, and full of stress and anxiety. I needed an outlet. I am extremely shy and self conscious, but I took a huge leap of faith and joined the 6 weeks challenge at Cape Fear Boxing and it has been the BEST experience. This isn't just a gym, it's a COMMUNITY. It starts with a Coach, trainers and staff with a PASSION and a PLAN. From the first day, they took the time to learn my name and encourage and push me personally during workouts. It's intense, fun, challenging and so rewarding, but it also flows outside of the gym with weekly challenges, phone check-ins, emails, and social media. I have had great results and I'm not stopping! I promise you will find a home at Cape Fear Boxing. There are women of all sizes, shapes, ages, and colors here with a common goal of helping you be your best.

I started the 6 week challenge and found amazing results. Before the program, I was eating whatever I wanted to. I'd go home from work, sit in front of the tv, eat, and fall asleep. I wasn't really motivated to move much after work, because I was so tired. I've always had trouble with food and eating whatever I want. I'm small, but I wasn't happy with my stomach. The meal plans and food guide was so helpful and kept me conscious about what I was eating, my portion size, and how many times I was eating a day. Consistency was another big thing for me. I love the accountability and checking in on me and my progress that Cape Fear Boxing provides. I work ten plus hours a day, 5 days a week, and I was worried about over doing it. In the long run, I've never felt so energized while pushing my body to the max. I have so much more energy. I've doubled my weight loss goal by losing 6 pounds of body fat in only 6 weeks, and I feel so much happier when I see myself in the mirror and feel so much stronger/healthy. I would absolutely recommend Cape Fear Boxing for all these reasons and more. Plus, the coaches are awesome. It's been a life changing experience, and I am excited to continue the progress I've been making.

Before joining CFB, I was taking a moderate approach to my weight-loss journey. I was nearly 1 year postpartum, 224lbs, and mainly taking long (2.5 to 5 mile) power walks 1 to 2 times a day, and steadily tweeking my diet to healthier options. I had a low cost gym to attend, but I never could decide what to do when I got there. It's not that I didn't want to workout, but I was overwhelmed with creating a routine that wasn't just the same exercises. A friend (who was also starting her weight-loss journey) happened to see a post on Facebook for Cape Fear Boxing's weight-loss challenge. We figured, why not check it out. The orientation with Coach Rasheed had me convinced. The program had what I was needing most; engaging and changing routines in the classes (no need to create one as they did all the hard work on that front) and the push for accountability of ourselves. I signed up immediately. At the time I was on leave from work and could focus mostly on myself. The weather cooperated as well and I could still get in my walking along with the CFB workouts. In the first 3 weeks, I lost 10.6 pounds of body fat. In the last 3 weeks, I lost another 4.2lbs to total 14.8 pounds of body fat overall. Bonus, was that I was noticeably toning up as well. I've already joined the next challenge as my goal is to lose another 15lbs. For anyone one the fence about getting started, I would say, try out CFB. The classes fly by and the coaches, staff, and other participating ladies offer tough love and a commodore of encouragement to help you meet your goals, and have fun doing so. Join a challenge and bet against yourself or become a member and enjoy the class perks.

Hey Ladies! I just wanted to leave a little inspiration! In the past I have struggled with diets and exercise and motivation. I would see Coop's post of workouts and thought ,Wow I want to be like her when I grow up🤣🤣 I admire her tenacity and determination to keep pushing day by day. Coop posted the Cape Fear Ladies Boxing Boot Camp Challenge Video on her page and I just knew I had to take the challenge. I've always believed that if you want something you've never had you have to do something you've never done... so long story short I committed to the 42Day Challenge and I showed up, gave it all I had , followed the plan and worked toward my goals. My photos are proof of progress as Tee always says, "you get out what you put in, don't cheat yourself ". Ladies wherever you are in your journey keep showing up,do the best that you can do and be encouraged that your labor is not in vain. Unfortunately I have to take a break for a while but I will be back ready to get that work out. Before coming to Cape Fear Boxing, I had tried so many different home workouts through many different programs. I didn't stick with any of them. The accountability wasn't there. I didn't have anyone pushing me to do my best or to show up when I wasn't feeling like it. When I saw the advertisement for Cape Fear Boxing ladies boxing bootcamp challenge, I felt a pull. I messaged immediately, met with coach Rasheed and signed up! The first day, I'm not gonna lie, was intimidating. I didn't feel like I knew what I was doing BUT I was never made to feel like I didn't belong. Every step of the way, someone would stop and show me what to do if I looked like I was struggling. By the end of the first week, I was completely addicted. By the end of the second week, my husband was commenting on the change in mood and energy! Three weeks in, the changes in my body were noticeable! Every day, I felt myself getting stronger. The weekly focus challenges helped me address little (big) things like my steps, water intake, veggies and eating enough to fuel the changes I wanted to see in my body.
Now, 6 weeks in, Cape Fear Boxing is a part of my daily routine just like brushing my teeth. I have learned to prioritize my workouts to honor how capable my body is. The instructors and teammates are a part of my family and I show up everyday for myself and for them. If I'm struggling to finish a workout with my full effort, someone locks eyes with me and nods their head to remind me, I can do it. I have lost 8.3 pounds of body fat, I'm seeing definition where there hasn't been in a really long time, my clothes are fitting better and my confidence is climbing through the roof. I am hooked and I am so very grateful for this new chapter in my life.
I have recommended CFB to every single person that comments on my changes or anyone who mentions wanting to make a change in their lives. Give it a chance, you won't regret it! CFB for life

I completed a longer weight loss challenge at another gym, back in March
I completed a longer weight loss challenge at another gym, back in March. I had great success in losing 20 pounds and I felt great! The pandemic hit and I was still maintaining my weight loss by running daily, and completing short online workouts! In November , I fell down a few steps and broke my left leg. Couple the inability to ambulate with the stress of online learning and general family stress with 3 kids, and I gained my weight back. I started back trying to workout in February, but there was always some excuse...too cold, too hot, no time, too tired, etc. My diet was not great either. I finally got my diet back in check in May, but I just could not motivate myself to workout in my garage with the heat! My friend saw a post about Cape Fear Boxing's 6-week weight loss challenge, so we met with Coach and we joined that day! It has been amazing! Coop, Tee, and Coach were very encouraging and inspiring! I love the accountability, because I knew someone would call if I didn't show up to workout! The other clients at the gym are also amazing and encouraging! Some days we struggled together, and other days we celebrated crushing the workouts! I loved the 30-minute classes, so I could double up on days I needed that extra push, but other days the 30 minutes was all that I needed! I also loved the arm bands, so I could see how hard I was working on the screen, and seeing others' hard work definitely motivated me to work even harder! I just had to get to Zone 4 or 5! The customizable meal plan was great and easy to follow! It wasn't as overwhelming as a plan where you have to count and log everything! I lost 7.5 pounds of body fat, while gaining muscle, confidence, and having a great time! I am not talking about 7.5 pounds of water or clothing weight, this was actual body fat! My pants fit better too! I would definitely recommend the program to anyone ready to have fun and work hard! They have a class available at lots of different times, to meet anyone's schedule needs! As the program drew near, I had a hard time thinking about not working out here again. It is an amazing community, where we celebrate each other daily! They kept repeating over and over again, "It is not about perfection, it is about progress!" I made progress and I will continue to make progress because of Cape Fear Boxing!

This is the real deal for anyone who wants to get in better shape without starving, being grumpy, or feeling self-conscience in the gym! Before coming here, I had gained quite a bit of weight between covid and having a child (almost 3 y/o now). The weight has been difficult for me to lose, especially with my sweet tooth. I came in on day 1 with a goal to lose 40 pounds. By day 19, I kid you not, I have lost over 6 pounds, developed more confidence, my posture is like a rock star, and I have more energy. I go to 4 classes a week, have changed my diet by about 65-75% (and yes, I still eat my sweets!), and added a 30 minute walk 3 times a week to my routine. What's scary is I wish I had time to go to more classes! Anyone who knows me, knows I am not a typical gym aficionado. Today actually marks the first day I have allowed a picture of myself to be posted in our family social media posts instead of cropping myself out or hiding behind the camera. It does take dedication, but it's fun and doable. I look forward to seeing how I continue to improve. It makes a big difference in quality of life. I'd like to also give a nod, business wise, to the owner. Coach Rasheed has created a master piece of a program. I've been to several gyms, and this is nothing like anything I have ever seen. It's like having a high-end private trainer but with a fun group of ladies to provide support while learning a new skill. The price is affordable, classes are only 30 minutes each, and you can attend as many classes as you'd like each week. The staff routinely send texts and emails for check-ins and new ideas to practice at home as well. The program is holistically designed, with a focus on exercise, nutrition, and positivity. When I say positivity, I mean it. The Coach sets a high standard for all of us awesome ladies to actively be positive and lifting each other up. You will see no neutral or indifferent ladies up in there. We are all actively working to be a supportive exercise family. This, to me, is a significant part of the long-term success of this program. All classes are blended with every skill level, and modifications are provided upfront. Every class is different and every week is different so it is never boring. As far as I can tell so far, his program design is seamless. I recommend it to anyone who truly wants to get in better shape. Newcomer tips: 1. Dedicate the time. The results will come. 2. Anticipate being slightly lost on the first day (I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off). As another lady told me on my first day, "The first day is the hardest." 3. Before I came to Cape Fear Boxing, I had reached a point where I started to think "Well, maybe this is what people mean when they say 'your body changes in your 30s'. As someone who has always maintained an active lifestyle and enjoyed working out often and eating healthy, I found myself frustrated at the scale not budging despite what I thought were my best efforts. I had first quit smoking and went from a very physical emergency nursing job to a desk job when I turned 30, and slowly the weight began to creep on. Before I knew it, I was wrestling with an extra 20lbs. I would lose a few pounds, then gain it back, and repeat. Not getting results quickly like I was accustomed to before, led me to get depressed, which led me to eat for comfort, which would only make me more depressed when the sugar high wore off. I had never had a "weight problem" and didn't know what I was doing. Over the last 5 years I have tried low-carb/keto, Nutrisystem, Noom, local meal prep companies & countless gyms and programs. Most worked in the short term, but nothing would ever stick. I had most recently been fairly consistently working out on my own at a local corporate gym, and trying to watch what I ate, but no matter what I could not seem to lose those last 10-15 lbs. Then one day this June, I got an email from Coach Rasheed that changed my life. He had a 6 week "Summer Time Fine" challenge for me, and there was no risk involved. I was getting married in 4 months and figured it was as good a time as any to try to feel like myself again, and I am so glad I took that first step. I can't explain why, but upon walking into Cape Fear Boxing, I knew this time would be different and that this place felt like home. I knew I would get out of this what I put into it, and I immediately felt welcomed & supported by Coach Rasheed and his entire staff. The sense of community he has built is unmatched. The passion not only for fitness, but for helping people that all of the coaches obviously have is so refreshing. It keeps me coming back, because I know that even on days I don't quite believe in myself, I have a whole team of people who will encourage me to by my best self. They know my name and I'm not just another member. They keep me consistent because they are consistent in the way they lead their workouts and interact with everyone. You will never catch them slipping or not motivating you, no matter what is going on in their personal lives. In my initial assessment with Coach Rasheed, we talked about my goals and made sure they were challenging, yet realistic. He gave me one on one attention, and didn't blow me off simply because I didn't have 50 lbs to lose or hadn't seen a gym before. I think that's important to note because I have experienced that in the past, being all but scoffed at for wanting to improve my physique but being sort of in that gray area of "within normal range" and "overweight" The program at CFB is for everyone who wants to work hard to make their fitness goals a reality, and I tell everyone who will listen. With the help of the CFB team, in just 6 weeks, I have lost a total of 5.3 pounds of body fat! Like I told Coach, I am just getting started. Finding a program to stick with has been very difficult for me, because I get easily bored and discouraged, but the fact that the workout is different every day makes it so much fun! The weekly challenges keep things interesting, and the Facebook group helps with accountability, nutrition information and building rapport with the group. The holistic, genuine nature of the entire experience makes it so unique. I truly can't recommend the Cape Fear Boxing enough.

I started the 6 week challenge and found amazing results. Before the program, I was eating whatever I wanted to. I'd go home from work, sit in front of the tv, eat, and fall asleep. I wasn't really motivated to move much after work, because I was so tired. I've always had trouble with food and eating whatever I want. I'm small, but I wasn't happy with my stomach. The meal plans and food guide was so helpful and kept me conscious about what I was eating, my portion size, and how many times I was eating a day. Consistency was another big thing for me. I love the accountability and checking in on me and my progress that Cape Fear Boxing provides. I work ten plus hours a day, 5 days a week, and I was worried about over doing it. In the long run, I've never felt so energized while pushing my body to the max. I have so much more energy. I've doubled my weight loss goal by losing 6 pounds of body fat in only 6 weeks, and I feel so much happier when I see myself in the mirror and feel so much stronger/healthy. I would absolutely recommend Cape Fear Boxing for all these reasons and more. Plus, the coaches are awesome.
