This place don't/hasn't/won't enforce the state mandatory mask policy
This place don't/hasn't/won't enforce the state mandatory mask policy. Only 'bout 50% of folks wearin' masks. People were coughin' without masks when I went in last. When I wrote an online review 'bout it they froze my membership and tried to make me take it down. This is illegal and retribution, shady business tactics and unethical response to a truthful review. It's 2021, ya can't use mafia tactics to shut folks up 'bout tellin' the truth.
I used to go to YouFit gym for a while
I used to go to YouFit gym for a while. But then they closed down and Chuze Fitness started taking money from my credit card. I never agreed to join Chuze and they wouldn't cancel my membership unless I followed their process. So, I got charged for a whole month of membership that I never even wanted, especially during COVID. I don't get how this is legal or right. They say it's canceled now, but they won't give me my money back.

So, I had a membership at Chuze Fitness, but they ended it when I went to work out and found out there was no hot water in the showers. I went to the front desk and complained because there was no sign telling me about this issue. It was frustrating because I couldn't wash off the chlorine after going to the pool.
Another incident happened when I entered the pool from the deep end instead of using the steps. There was a sign saying not to enter because the chemicals were wrong. Two people told me to get out, and I did after finishing just one lap.
After a few weeks, I received a call saying that I didn't fit in with their culture. It's pretty surprising how complaining can get you suspended.
Chuze Fitness Littleton seems to have a snarky attitude
Chuze Fitness Littleton seems to have a snarky attitude. Just like others, I had a similar experience there today. I went to downgrade my membership after previously upgrading it, hoping it would motivate me to attend classes. But, I didn't. I was unsure about it and talked to the girl at Chuze. She told me to go ahead and downgrade because I could easily do it if I didn't use it. However, she conveniently forgot to mention the $50 fee for downgrading. The person at the counter didn't care that I wasn't informed about the charge. They stuck to their guns, saying it's "company policy," and even hinted that I was trying to cheat the system. Instead of trying to understand the situation or investigating who upgraded my membership (and checking if this was true), they happily canceled my membership. After reading all the complaints, it's obvious that Chuze doesn't value its members. They only care about being "right" and showing the members who's boss. Good luck dealing with them.

I got laid off on March 31st. I called and emailed Chuze Fitness a bunch of times to cancel my membership. I left messages saying I wanna cancel my membership. But guess what? They started charging me again in June and July.
I've been trying to cancel my membership at Chuze Fitness for like 5 times now, but they keep giving me the runaround
I've been trying to cancel my membership at Chuze Fitness for like 5 times now, but they keep giving me the runaround. They always say they need this or that, or they just can't do it. It's so frustrating! They just keep charging me month after month. It's been going on for like 7 months now, and I'm so aggravated. This is just ridiculous!

I've been a member at Chuze for less than a year
I've been a member at Chuze for less than a year. When I joined, I paid a yearly fee. Last month, I got charged for my monthly fee and another yearly fee. I don't like how they do business and I asked them to give me back the second yearly fee and cancel my membership. They said no to the refund and also mentioned that they would charge me an extra $50 if I decided to cancel.
I'm at a higher risk for COVID-19, and with cases going up every day, I wanted to cancel my Chuze Fitness membership
I'm at a higher risk for COVID-19, and with cases going up every day, I wanted to cancel my Chuze Fitness membership. I haven't even been to the gym because I'm worried about my safety and health. But guess what? They won't cancel it! They still want to charge me and now they're throwing in an "annual fee" even though I haven't been a member for a whole year and I've never set foot inside their place.
I'm trying to cancel my membership (it's set to auto-renew)
I'm trying to cancel my membership (it's set to auto-renew). They asked for some info to do that. I've given them that info three times, as they requested, to make sure they got it. But I haven't heard anything or seen any confirmation that they'll cancel the charges at the end of this billing month (April). I'm worried, 'cause I know how this industry works, that they've ignored me and will keep charging me. Thanks for your help.
In June , I joined Chuze Fitness with their basic membership for **** plus tax
In June , I joined Chuze Fitness with their basic membership for *** plus tax. But, without any upgrades or changes, they've been charging me *** plus tax for the past few months. And now, out of the blue, I've been hit with an unexpected charge of *** plus tax this month. I thought this wasn't an annual fee, just a monthly one. Why am I being charged for a premium membership when I only signed up for ***? And why have they been increasing the charges without any explanation? I'm really confused about all these hidden fees popping up.
Okay, so let's talk about the gym's hours
Okay, so let's talk about the gym's hours. I work overnight, and it's tough to hit the gym when it's not open at the time I finish work. I'm shelling out 30 bucks a month for a membership, but the gym doesn't open early in the morning, which would be perfect for me before hitting the sack. I feel like I'm paying a lot, almost half of what I spend on gas, just to not be able to go because it's not open 24/7. It would be really nice if it was open all the time, especially considering how nice the gym is. But hey, I can't use it because it's on their terms. It would be so much more helpful if it was accessible round the clock, you know? It would really help me relieve stress and shed some pounds, especially since I work at night.
I tried to contact them to ask about the charges on my account
I tried to contact them to ask about the charges on my account. I sent a couple of emails regarding the charges and asked why I was charged $50. When I signed up for the membership, they didn't mention anything about that, just $9.99 per month. Chuze Fitness seems like a scam, always taking money from my account without any notice or permission. Now, if I want to cancel, I have to pay a $50 fee again. I don't understand. I really want to remove this gym's access to my bank. I don't want anything to do with Chuze Fitness anymore. I need a refund for the money they took without permission. I know they can't do that. I don't want to be rude, but if I don't get my money back, I'm suing.
I got a year membership and then covid happened
I got a year membership and then covid happened. The gym had to limit members. When I went, it was crowded. They use extra rooms to fit more people. The problem is they don't make people use those rooms to workout. So one room has more than 10 percent capacity. The main room had like 60 people working out and some guests don't cover their nose. I feel unsafe and they won't give my money back. I complained to Broomfield code enforcement too. They don't follow guidelines and don't provide a safe workout environment. It's impossible to keep 6 feet distance in their gym.
In June , I asked Chuze Fitness to freeze my account 'cause I hadn't been using their place since before the pandemic
In June , I asked Chuze Fitness to freeze my account 'cause I hadn't been using their place since before the pandemic. A Chuze worker helped me out and said my account was frozen. But then, on September 10th, they charged me $8.80, and on September 15th, they hit me with a $37.29 fee. I went to the local spot to sort it out. One of the workers helped me and sent an email later saying my account was now frozen for 12 months and they put in a request for a refund on those September charges. But guess what? No refund ever came my way. Then, in April , they charged me $49.99. When I try to check my account on the app, it says my membership is inactive.
I got this 12-month deal with Chuze Fitness for $9.99 a month, and I still got 2 months left on it
I got this 12-month deal with Chuze Fitness for $9.99 a month, and I still got 2 months left on it. So, I called them up to cancel my membership, but they said I gotta pay $50.00 to cancel. That don't make sense 'cause the amount is more than what I owe on the contract. I asked them to turn off the auto-renewal, so I don't get stuck with a new 12-month contract, but they said they can't do that either. The agreement says I can avoid the cancellation fee if I finish the whole contract, and that's what I wanna do. I'll just pay the remaining two months and not worry 'bout renewing or cancelling later. If I remembered to cancel 3 months ago, the $50.00 would've been okay 'cause there would've been 5 months left on the contract, but now with only two months left, the fee should be lower 'cause of the contract's value. In my opinion, this is bad business and seems like a sneaky way for the company to auto-renew contracts and make customers pay not only the $50 annual fee when it renews, but also another $50 to cancel the new contract instead of just buying out the old one.
I joined Chuze Fitness in January, but then the gym closed in March because of Covid-19
I joined Chuze Fitness in January, but then the gym closed in March because of Covid-19. In April, I filled out a form on their website to cancel my membership since I didn't know when they would reopen. However, in July, they charged me the annual fee after reopening. I called them on 07/20 and talked to a lady named Addy, asking for a refund. She said a manager would contact me, but that never happened. Today, on 8/26, I called again and spoke to Addy, who then transferred me to the manager. The manager asked for proof of the contact form and said they send an email after you fill it out. That's not true, you can check for yourself on the website. The website clearly states that you MUST contact your home club to get a refund. I couldn't do that because the gym was closed due to Covid, so I tried using the contact form on the website, which goes directly to the gym you attend. I was only a member for 6 weeks before the gym closed, so it doesn't make sense to charge me for a whole year. I did everything I could to cancel my membership given the circumstances. If I don't get a refund within one business week, I'll contact my bank and the Colorado Attorney General to resolve this issue.
