The Capital One Venture X card I had recently taken out in the fall of 2024 was cancelled incorrectly by a service rep even though I just paid $395 for the card. I was told it would take 2 weeks to investigate. After 2 weeks I heard nothing and called only to learn nothing had been done. I called a couple more times in the next couple of weeks and still nothing. Meanwhile charges on the card that I paid for were being denied and despite my letting them know I never cancelled this card. Finally after about 7 weeks I received a call that the card was reinstated. I asked a manager if there was anything they could do for my aggravation, expenses and repeated delays and mistakes by Capital One and was told there’s nothing was nothing.
Desired outcome: Capital one should reimburse me in points or $ for the loss of use of the card I had paid for and for my expenses in contacting Capital One repeatedly to resolve this from my home in China.
