Selling junk cars no service after the sale
Bought a car from them this month. It broke down the day I drove it home sat all weekend. Monday I limped it to the dealer they said they fixed it I didn't get off the lot with it before it broke again with the same problem. Took it back they fixed it again and it ran for 4 days and had the same problem I took it in on Monday again and told them I wanted to return the car because time was running out on that. They told me they would get it fixed and take care of the thirty day stuff from Jack. Well again it ran until Friday sat all weekend had to get it towed this time and they have had it for a week. I told them the car is unreliable not road worthy and is going to get someone hurt and still they try to shove it down my throat. The only concern that was voiced wasn't about me it was that the salesman Jack ws going to lose money. Well I found out there is a federal law the Consumer Protection Act of 2015 that cover this situation and give you 30 days. So I called them and told them I didn't want the car they could not convince me that they had fixed it. Yet they still wat to give a run around they thought I was surrendering it until I told them about this law. On Tuesday I will get in touch with a lawyer if they have not resolved it and if I am right it will cost them more than that car is worth. They also gave me a loaner that was illegal to drive home West Virginia tags Virginia inspection and a headlight out to give a reason to get pulled over. I am 66 year old and have bought many used cars this is by far the worst experiance I have ever had. About ten people have asked me about that car and I told them where I got it and how I was being treated so that ten people you will probably never see come thru your doors and I am sure they will tell thier friends.
Desired outcome: Either want a check for everthing I paid for it or another suitable car to drive and consideration for being jerks about the whole thing. I need an apology for telling me on the third trip I needed to be patient.
fraudulent advertisement practices
I visited Car Credit Nation on Friday 11/10/2017 in hopes of purchasing a vehicle. This was after speaking one of the salesmen "Jack" day before. Jack as me a number of questions about my credit, my employment history, salary and living stability. After the 45 min conversation as Jack stated multiple times "we ask you these questions to determine your ability to repay". It was determined that I had the ability to repay. I asked during that phone conversation how do you determine the interest rate without a credit check. Do you simply use the max which is what most Buy-here-pay here's do, do you use a bracket based on the cost of the car or is it dependent upon your down payment. Again he said it is dependent upon my ability to repay. Again, i went with to Car credit nation with all of the documentation that Jack told me to bring. Once i sat down with Jack, he took all of my information and made copies of it. Before proceeding I stated, "I want to make sure we are clear" and recapped for him the discussion that took place during our phone conversation. And stated, I want to ensure that you will not run my credit because I do not want any hits on my report. 1. I am in the process of cleaning up stuff on my credit report and was advised not to inquire any new inquires on my report. I typically work from home so there was no need in a car but we were previously told that we would have to start traveling for our job and thus leaving me in a position to buy a car. So we decided that although it would be a slight set back, to see if I can do a buy here pay here with a low down payment and a reasonably priced car that won't take me over my threshold for my debt to income ration. But no credit hits. And if they can report my history that is all for the better. I am working to get my score up and need to balance out the types of debt I had. Jack told me he couldn't do it without doing a credit check. I responded and said "well you advertised no credit check", and that's why you asked for the other documentation. Then he tried to convince that they have to do it to determine my ability to pay. I said "wait a min".. during our phone conversation you told me that the reason why you asked me the series of questions was to determine my ability to pay. And that everything seemed good. So now you are telling me that it is not the case. That you in fact do run credit checks. He said then, we have to see what interest rate to give you. Again, he's contradicting himself. He said during the phone conversation that it is determined based on my ability to pay. AT this point I'm realizing that they are using the same fraudulent business practices that they used when they were Falls Church Motors... that had such a bad rating that they changed their names thinking they can jip the consumer. I told Jack to give me my stuff and the documents he had made copies off. I was no longer interested. The he said well we can do a no credit check but we will have to charge the highest interest rate of 23.99% and increase your down payment. They advertised as $1050.00 down and now he's asking for $2500.00 to get the car with no credit check. That is not what they advertised. And I certainly don't want to purchase from a company that I can't refer others to. Needless to say I ended up buying a Tahoe that same day from a another Company and therefore my 1 hour trip was not done in vain.
I too had serious problems with CCN, I have been mostly harassed. I hope many individuals see our statements and not purchase from CCN.
Selling intentionally junk cars
Bought a car from them when their name used to be Falls Church Motors a couple of years ago. At the time i went there to look at the cars, there were a couple of picketers in front of the dealer with signs and pictures of a car they bought that broke down already in a short time they got the car.
That should have been a big clue to stay away but i did not and end up buying a passat volkswagen. At the time i bought the car, emission inspection was needed. So after a few days of getting the car, i brought it to a gas station and was given a pink slip for failed emission. For 3 weeks the car was in and out from their shop.
After the 3rd week of purchased i finally was able to drive the car with the a pass emission home. After 2 weeks of driving, engine blew up but since I got the extended warranty i called them up and talk with Chris from their shop informing him that the engine blew and needs to be replace or fix. I also arranged extending my monthly payment since its been really on the shop more than me driving it for the month... The car has been in and out from their shop from the first day i got it.
Instead of them fixing the car, they repossess it justifying that i missed 1 payment and per contract will constitute repossession. I have no problem paying my monthly dues but who on their right mind will pay a car that is worth a junk car.
The repossession has been a thorn on my back for my credit ever since and now i am in the process of suing the dealer and im trying to get as much collaborations as i can to show without any doubts their fraudulent practices and intentionally misleading buyers in selling cars that Is already considered 'JUNK' .

I have the same problem but they are not getting away with it. My email is cebeze1 @gmail.com
