car not fixed properly r18,000
I towed my car to fordfury woodmead I experienced bad service it was going to replace clutch but when I collected vehicle I heard things loose in front I phoned back to the dealer to tell them that car was not okay I also phoned them that the noise its getting worse the person who was assisting me he did give any help now m stuck with a car that it is broken and they are charging me R22, 000 to fix cause my warranty has expired but I did inform them when I had the problem when it started please help me im bieng played a fool by the company I trusted and my only source of income I have my kid's are starving I reported to ford sa they never came back to me
car worse off after major service
I sent my car into Ford Woodmead (Opel Corsa Lite) for a major service in the beginning of October. The service costed almost R11000. The car was returned twice. Once due to negligence of not closing a valve correctly and second time due to the car cutting out. The cutting out of the car has persisted and has become worse. On saturday when i contacted them they said it is not due to anything they did durin g the service. The service manager got upset with me and started raising his voice so i then said i am not willing to discusss this with him as he is not willing to assist. This would have been ok if the car was like this before i dropped it off for the major service. However the car was not giving me these issues before i dropped the car off. I have had to this morning hire a car due to Fury Ford Woodmead not assisting in getting this sorted.
My car was better off before i dropped it off at Fury for the major service. It cannot be ok that the car is worse off since then and that they are not willing to assist. I find this highly frustrating
Wrong diagnosis on car service
On the 4th of February 2016, I took my vehicle for repairs and service subsequent to problems experienced with steaming window screen. The diagnosis was a leaking coolant. 3 days later the repairs were completed and payment of R 4, 400 was made, I collected the vehicle. Same day on my way home the vehicle got stuck and tow truck was sent to collect the vehicle. This time the diagnosis was a faulty fan as the fan switch had to be replaced. The warranty paid for repairs and I collected the vehicle. Again the same day I stuck few meters from the garage. When I went to fetch it o got home and notice the coolant was finished. I was ask to bring it back and work had to be done on the engine. On the 14th March 2016 when I went to check the progress of the vehicle I was told that my engine had seized and cost to repair it is R 50, 653.89 (exclusive) and service manager was fired therefore I need to deal with other service manager. If I think about this whole ordeal I suspect negligence and I can’t be liable for engine seizing while my vehicle was taken for a simple thing.
