I bought a 2008 Jeep Liberty from Car Deals 4U on August 25/20. They gave me a Carfax and an Inspection report done by their mechanic. But within 2 weeks, we had a bunch of problems with the car. First, the tail light went out, so we had to replace it. Then, the air bag light came on and we had to replace both front seat belt buckles. The engine light was on too, and they said it was because of the driveshaft. The Evap Canister was messed up, causing gas to overflow. The transfer case, front axle, and rear pinion seal were all leaking. It was clear that the inspection wasn't done properly.

On September 14th, I took the car back to the dealership and talked to the manager, Sam ***. I told him about all the issues and expected them to fix everything for free since it should have been caught during the inspection. I asked him to call me in a couple of days to let me know when the car would be ready and how we would resolve these problems. The car came with a 90-day warranty from *** Warranty. When I talked to the adjuster there, he was surprised that these issues weren't found during the inspection. I wanted to talk to the mechanic that Car Deals 4U uses, but they said I had to go through the dealership manager.

On September 25th, someone from Car Deals 4U called and said the car was ready for pick up. My daughter and I went to the dealership after 5pm, and I was shocked when Sam *** asked for payment. The total bill was $2097.74. I didn't know I would have to pay because they never told me during the repairs. When I refused to pay, Mr *** said he would undo all the repairs and I could take the car as it was. After an hour and a half of arguing, Sam lowered the bill to $622.13. I had no choice but to pay if I wanted to leave with the car.
