I had a very bad experience
I had a very bad experience. I found a truck that I was interested in online and it was shipped to the Glenn Mills dealership. The truck was not a clean as I would have expected so I did look at a couple other trucks on the lot. I found one that I was very happy with and spoke to a salesman. I let him know that I do most of my loans through Boeing Helicopter and he told me that they were one of the lenders that they had recently started using. Later that evening the salesman called and asked if I would put a deposit on the truck. I told him that I was going to wait on approval before committed to put money down. The following morning the salesman called me to let me know that I was approved. I told him that I was in Dover but could make it in at 1:30 to do the paperwork. He said that works perfect. My wife and I left the event I was at to go pick up our new truck. We pulled in it was up front all washed up. I went in to do the paperwork and the salesman informed me that it had been sold to someone else between our phone call and us showing up. No happy with the situation but knowing I had already been approved, we took out a different truck. We liked it and decided it was a go and asked the salesman to do the paperwork. He informed us that the Credit Union closed at noon and we would have to come back on Monday. I was not happy because even if the other truck was not sold our from underneath me I wasn't leaving with anything that day because the bank was closed at noon. When we left the lot, my wife was very unhappy that all this had happened and we lost an entire day for nothing. We drove past another dealership on the way home and she asked me to stop. I did and ended up making a verbal agreement with Garnet Ford to pick up a similar F150 that we were looking to purchase from Carsense. The deal went through with no issues using the Credit Union. Shortly after I started getting credit inquiry letters from several banks. THIRTY TO BE EXACT! This was confirmed by my mortgage lender we were trying to purchase a home last week.
I had the worst experience ever purchasing a vehicle from CarSense.
I had the worst experience ever purchasing a vehicle from CarSense. I went on the website and found an SUV I liked with all the options I was looking for. I applied online and was told by a salesperson that the vehicle was available pending bank approval. Later, I was informed of approval and just needed to sign papers and pick up the SUV. En route, I was told someone else was test driving it. They hadn't asked for a deposit, which I would've given if prompted. The salesperson said they couldn't take a deposit until loan approval, but even with approval, they wouldn't take it due to the ongoing test drive. I missed out on the SUV. They offered another vehicle lacking the features I wanted. I found a suitable one on their site, but they refused to price match. The manager claimed a non-written policy gave priority to whoever held the keys. They suggested a vehicle at another location, but I opted to visit that location myself. On my way, they said they'd transfer the SUV, but upon arrival, it lacked floor mats and a second key. Weeks later, I finally received them. Then, they incorrectly set my first payment date and required new paperwork to correct it. Over a month in, they hadn't sent my state paperwork, risking my temporary registration's expiration. I tried contacting a General Manager without success and received no callback or solution from the Sales Manager. I would never recommend CarSense to anyone.

2019 F150 truck
My family and I have purchased 10 vehicles from car sense and now car shop. I Had purchased the truck in August had a few things that needed taken care of when I purchased it. One the roof had big scratches and needed to have that painted and taken care of. I have had that done and am very happy with the job. I did ask for a little paint left over for a...
Read full review of CarShopWhen I was purchasing the car, the salesman said I needed to put $500 down and that it would be put towards the car payment
When I was purchasing the car, the salesman said I needed to put $500 down and that it would be put towards the car payment. I found out later on that the deposit did not go towards the car and instead was kept by the dealership. I'm pretty sure this breaks a few laws. Specially considering this dealership decided to take advantage of an elderly disabled person.

we bought a car at Carsense and before we left the lot we told them that there was damage to the car. they said that they forgot to tell us and that they would take care of it later. we left and tried calling numerous times and each time they end up telling us some excuse why they would have to call us back either later that day or the next day and they never call back.
I was told i was approved for a 2017 *** in May
I was told i was approved for a 2017 *** in May. I signed all the papers and drove off the lot with me being told I was the owner of this car. I was notified June 1st that my paystubs were not accepted and if I were not able to get a co-signer, that i would have to bring the car back immediately, despite already giving a down payment, paying for my insurance, i was approved, and signing the contract for the car.

I took my car to CarSense in Hatfield, PA on June 8th for a state inspection. I have bought several cars from this dealership and have taken my car there for state inspections for the past six years. On June 8th the service adviser claimed I need breaks and a slew of other work which I did not. I knew they were scamming me and trying to take advantage of me. I paid them $52.95 for absolutely nothing. When I emailed the general manager he left me a nasty voicemail in which he justified their lies and the dishonest way they tried to scam more money out of me. I will be filing a small claims case in the district courthouse in Hatfield, PA unless I get my money back. Dishonest service centers like CarSense should be exposed for how dishonest they treat people.

Purchased vehicle on 2/24 I noticed a alarm for airbag and seatbelt which is a high safety concern
Purchased vehicle on 2/24 I noticed a alarm for airbag and seatbelt which is a high safety concern. I believe the vehicle was not properly checked before selling to customers. I had a long wait to purchase this vehicle 4 hours for an all cash and trade in transaction. I worked with Brad who was generally helpful until I reported the issues of the vehicle on 2/27 since I knew there was something wrong after driving. The service department could not service the vehicle until 3/2 which I was given a small rental which did not work out for my line of work.. This is where the service issues arise and the trouble starts... It took text and phone calls for help for another vehicle some what close to what I purchased and still nothing close. Today 3/5 I still do not have my vehicle I purchased for over $40k and the customer service is horrible.. No updates..BAD SERVICE. I intend to contact my local news if this is not resolved and also contact my attorney for compensation and possible a full return.

I helped my daughter purchase a car from here
I helped my daughter purchase a car from here. The sales side of the transaction is fine. The repair/warranty issues are the issue. My daughter has spent hundreds of dollars on her brakes. The last time the mechanic informed my daughter that she needed new brakes and rotors yet again due to the fact she had declined to have the brake fluid flushed which caused the caliper to be 30 degrees out of alignment. That is complete nonsense. After the last trip to the garage when my daughter yet again declined to have a needless brake fluid flush, the car started leaking water into the cabin of the car. Another appointment was made to have the issue investigated and Carsense wanted over $100 as a diagnostic fee. My neighbor, a lifelong professional mechanic offered to look at it. He found that the air conditioner drain line inside the car had been disconnected. He swears that this could not just come loose on it's own. It had to be disconnected by someone. My daughter then made 4 phone calls to the shop to cancel her appointment and no one will receive her call. I know this is hard to prove, but if you look on the Yelp app, you will see that this is not the first time this issue with brakes has happened.

I had the worst experience ever purchasing a vehicle from CarSense. I went on the website and found an SUV I liked that had all the options I was looking for. I applied online and received a call from the salesperson that the vehicle was available and they were waiting on bank approval. Several hours later, I received a call from my salesperson that I was approved and I just needed to sign paperwork and pick up my new SUV. I told him I was en route, but 20 minutes later, while still on my way, I received a call saying someone was test driving the SUV I had been approved for by the bank. I asked how this could happen and suggested marking it as sold. The salesman stated he could not because I had not put a deposit down on the vehicle. I replied that they had never asked for a deposit, otherwise, I would have provided one. He said he couldn't take a deposit until they received loan approval, to which I responded that I had the approval and could give a deposit now. He refused, saying he couldn't take a deposit because someone was test driving the vehicle. Consequently, I lost out on the SUV.
That was just part one of this nightmare. They then told me they had another vehicle, but it didn't have all the options I wanted. I found one on their website that did, but it was more expensive, and they were unwilling to price match the vehicle, even though it was the same model and year, just with more options. The manager even lied, claiming it was their company policy that whoever has the keys gets the first choice. When I asked to see this policy, she couldn't provide it, saying it wasn't written down but was just their practice. I argued that it's not a policy if it's not in writing. The other vehicle they were willing to sell me was at a different CarSense location, and they could transfer it to my preferred location. I declined and decided to go to the other location the next day. However, on my way there, I received a call saying the SUV was actually at a third location but that they would bring it to my preferred location if I took my time getting there. When I arrived, the truck was there but without floor mats and a second key, which were left at the third location, and I would have to come back another day to get them. Weeks later, after calling about the key and floor mats and dealing with a clueless service department, I finally received both.
Then, weeks later, I received a call stating that my first payment date of March was incorrect. I needed to either make my first payment in February or my payment would increase if I wanted to keep the March date. Either way, I would have to return to the dealership to complete new paperwork. I did so, hoping this nightmare was finally over. But no, I received a call this week stating they needed copies of the back portion of both my girlfriend's and my driver's licenses to send off the state paperwork. Over 30 days in, and they hadn't sent in my state paperwork yet, with my temporary registration about to expire.
I tried to speak with a General Manager who was never available and ended up speaking with the Sales Manager, who, although apologetic, offered no solutions or compensation for my terrible experience. It felt like they were just moving on to the next sale without regard for my situation. I requested a callback from the General Manager to get the information of the District Manager, but I haven't received a callback. If there was a way to shut this business down, I would want it gone. I will never purchase from them or recommend them to anyone.
We bought a 2017 Honda Pilot from CarSense in January . There were scratches on the vehicle and CarSense said they would get them out as part of their No Scratches guarantee. We live 45 minutes away and had to take a day off work to come down and drop the car off for this work as they do not have loaner cars to give out when doing service. Whatever. Let's just get this done. When we got the car home in the sunlight the next day all of the scratches still existed. I used to do detail work and it was clear they just slapped a whole bunch of wax on the scratches to try and hide. Clear as day, all still there... Here's where it gets so much worse- The Fuel Emissions light came on prior to the 'detail' appointment. We asked that they look into while it was in the shop. Service rep claims likely just a computer error. To be safe we took to Honda. Turns out it was the Fuel Injector. Okay, if that's it I can live, it's covered under warranty. That wasn't just it. I know the service guy at Honda and had him do a look over at the car while it was there and we ended up needing the following: -All new brakes - pads and resurfacing - Brakes were at a 3. CarSense disputes this. No way CarSense- we barely drove the car in the 1 month of ownership. --2 filters needed replacing -Serpentine belt worn and cracked needed replacing -Brake fluid low & discolored- needed replacing -Transmission Fluid showed no history of being changed - needed drained & filled -Rear diff fluid needed to be drained and filled -Front heated seat never worked - replaced heater pad in seat Grand Total: $1,681.97 Called CarSense to make this right. Emailed them a copy of the invoice from the work done at Honda. They wouldn't pay for a dime of work. Unbelievable. They complained that I didn't take the car to them. Why would I trust them to do major work if they couldn't even address a few scratches on the car? Guy said well you should've given us a second chance. CarSense said they wouldn't cover any of the issues because they say I got scammed from Honda. Only scam here is CarSense. What a joke. NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM.
