Adam Carson/ owner of Carson Custom Homes, is a scam artist. He is a very smooth talker up front, but then cuts corners, and does shoddy work, and over bills you in the end. If you dis-agree, he files a lien on your home, then you have to pay huge attorney fees to take it to court.
He is irresponible, and blames damage and isues on his sub-contractors, for which he is supposed to be responsible (he hired them) and then blames you for being in his way when he does not finish on time. He is violent, and threatening when confronted.
In my home, he left the top of my house open without any roof, ceiling, rafters, or ceiling joists. It rained on 2 seperate occassions, and caused mold in my house. His response to this issue was "it only rained a quarter of an inch".This quote is in his response to the INDIANA BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU/INDIANAPOLIS.
After tracking down his insurance company (he refused to give me thier information) they did find neglect on his behalf and paid for the damage. The unfinished work was not paid for. I hac to hire another company to finish the job and correct all of his errors.
While he was working on my home, he removed roof shingles, rafters, ceiling joists, insulation and drywall. Instead of trowing it out on the yard or in a dumpster, he let it all fall inside my bedroom, kitchen, and dining room. I have over 10o photos of this. It damaged flooring, all appliances, carpet, out holes in my walls, and then I had to carry it all out to the dumpster, and clean up his mess.
He refused to do it.
Now he tells all of his friends that i owe him $10, 000, and tries to trash my reputation.
BEWARE OF ADAM CARSON, HE IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!
HE IS A LIAR, THEIF, AND CRIMINAL. HE HAS PENDING LAWSUITS IN DELAWARE COUNTY FOR A HOUSE HE BUILT THERE.
YOU CAN ALSO CONTACT THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE TO SEE COMNPLAINTS, AND "DOX POP" TO SEE ALL OF THE TAX ISUES HE HAS IN DELAWARE COUNTY, INDIANA. HE ALSO HAS ISSUES IN MADISON COUNTY INDIANA.
DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND DO A BACKGROUND CHECK BEFORE HIRING HIM!
YOUR ORIGINAL CONTRACT WITH HIM WILL NOT MATCH THE FINAL BILL.
HE HAS PENDING SUITS IN DELAWARE COUNTY COURTS. THE PHOTS SHOW 3-5 FEET OF DEBRIS IN MY KITCHEN AND DINING ROOM. YOU CAN SEE SIDING, SHINGLES, INSULATION, LUMBER, NAILS, HIS TOOLS, ALL LAYING ON THE FLOOR, AND ON TOP OF MY APPLIANCES. I HAD A NEW FRIDGE, BOSCH DISHWASHER, WASHER AND DRYER, AND OVEN. YOU CAN SEE SHINGLES AND DEBRIS IN MY KITCHEN SINK. LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PICTURES OF THE ROOFERS WORKING IN THE PUORING RAIN. LOOK AT THE STREET AND DRIVE WAY TO SEE THE WATER. MY HOUSE WAS UN-COVERED WHEN THEY STARTED, AND THERE ARE PHOTOS OF THE BLACK MOLD THAT WAS A RESULT OF THIS MOISTURE.
LOOK VERY CLOSELY IN ALL THE PICTURES. MOST PEOPLE DO NOT BELIEVE THIER EYES WHEN I HAVE SHOWN THESE TO THEM.
*****First picture = shingles in my kitchen sink, @nd Picture = the cieling in my closet. He said it was finished. 3rd picture = Roofers putting roof on in puoring rain (see the water on the driveway) 4th picture = Mold in my attic after he left my house open 2 times when it rained for hours. 5th picture = The ceiling in the kitchen was installed 2-3 inches too high. He said was not his fault. 4th picture = Over 3 feet of shingles, tar paper, wood, nails, insulation, amd siding, in my kitchen and dining room floor. WHY WOULD ANYONE NOT THROW IT OUTSIDE THE HOUSE? HE LET IT CAVE IN THE KITCHEN BEDROOM, AND DINING ROOM OF MY HOUSE, DAMAGING FLOORING, WALLS, HEAT VENTS, ELECTRICAL, APPLIANCES, AND EVERYTHING IN THAT AREA.
