Certified Alarms is a scam. They have terrible customer support and terrible monitoring. They charge up the wazoo for their lousy plastic crap that they call equipment. You can get better made products our a McDonald's happy meal. I've had their "technicians" over 5 times to fix my back door. I swear they used double bubble bubble gum to stick it up. They charged me 500 bucks and I still don't have my windows covered. Their shady salesman told me that my whole house would be protected. Little did I know that he wasn't covering all my windows. What he really should have said was "Hey, I'm slapping up some buzzers on your front and back door and a clap on / clap off device to listen for footsteps while you're sleeping." Now I get to pay 30 bucks a month and I have useless garbage equipment and a 3 year contract. Do yourself a favor and go with somebody else that is cheaper and better!

This company is horrible I'm in baton rouge and I call this company to install alarm for my home. The day of the appointment a man came over with a strong odor of alcohol then try to get me to tip him to do his job but when I made the appointment no payments were suppose to be made he goes on to say it takes to long to do it and won't do without compensation (tip). He then made a phone call then act like he's doing something and says he'll contact me later on to do the install and I never heard from them again this company is a joke
I just move to ascension parish and chose this company for my home security service. It is a horrible service! For 2 months on a few occasions my children or I set off the alarm by mistake. We received no calls to ask if we were okay! They tried to charge my
account but I was NOT paying for this crappy service. What if it was a burglar in my home. Then sent me a letter from the D.A. of another parish citing I owed them and the D.A. office for NOT paying for the crappy service. When a tech finally came out. He blamed it on my cable modem. My phone servie worked well the entire time, my internet, and cable worked well the whole time. Then the tech tells me that I may have to change my panel to the system. Yes, trying to SCAM more money out of me! If something is wrong
with the panel now. Then something was wrong with it then! I hate the service and have signed a 42 month contract! Pay attention
to that too! He said 2 years but I was so busy running around I didn't notice the change in the time frame of my contract! I HATE, HATE, HATE this service. Oh the accounts representative Ashley NEVER returned my phone call to discuss payment without a working service. I just received a letter from the D.A.'s office. Now I have to get a lawyer to fight my way out of this contract! WARNING. By the way my name is Shantell N. and I have no problem saying who I am!
