Automatic renewal of membership that I was not aware of.
Care.com is a place to find caregivers for elderly people. I did not know that this company would renew my membership automatically.
I was not aware of this until I got my credit care statement and billed $156.00 I haven't been using there service and I was unable to reach by phone because of long, long wait times.

They have alot of complaints against them if you do an internet search.
Desired outcome: Return the $156.00 to my Bank America credit card
Fraudulent Charge
I have a pending charge on my bank account from 6/24/21 for $74.85. I don't even know what this company is. I can't get a hold of anyone- either the contact number is no longer in service or it's a lame recording to check the FAQs on their website. I've already reached out on Facebook and Twitter. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB. Just want them to know the inconvenience they've caused me and I want the charge stopped. I don't have access to my bank account for days now. The next step is to drive to Waltham and see if I can talk to anyone face to face. This is ridiculous.

Tired the CCI service for one month and canceled. CCI Care-com continually charged my VISA CC. They are a scam outfit. They did not give me leads for one year, as well. I called their Billing Dept. and was informed $$ is non-refundable. I paid $300+ for nothing. This company should be investigated for fraudulent misrepresentation on how they charge their customers. CCI - Care-com sends one email when you register. It is not reoccurring which puts the members at a disadvantage.
Full refund
I just found out I've been paying ccicare.com since June 2019 for $57 a time. Don't know how they got my card number and it looks like it's a quarterly payment - eight payments. We don't even know what this is. I've been taking care of my father who's been in hospice at home. How do I get this resolved and stop this happening. Is there anyway to get a refund?
charges on my bank account
I have been being charged $12.99 a month for care.com and I have not used their services in several months. I would like to be refunded but if that is not possible, I just want my membership cancelled immediately. I have tried calling the number to cancel it and it tells me to go to the website but I have not been on in so long that I do not remember my password and when I go to reset it, I never get the email to reset it. I just need my membership for CCI care.com cancelled now please.
Online charge
I never signed up for any services from this scam company but they just charged my account. How do I eliminate this charge? I contacted my banker about this fraudulent charge and hopefully they will be on it as well. Thank you.

Dog sitter
On july 23rd I was charged $156.00 using my bank account from this company. Last year, maybe longer I called and told them to never renew the service since I had a horrific experience. The dog sitter left my dog alone for over 18 hours and I was missing things from my home. This money needs to be credited to me asap. Charging every quarter for service I could not used or cancel.
Every three months since october 2019 I get charged $45.00 for a membership that I did not know about. I would like this recurring charge removed from my bank statement & be reimbursed for the $180.00 deduction.

dispute a charge
You charged my Discover card ending 5053 on March 27th amount $129.30.
I did not authorize this charge. In fact I have never used Care. com services. I have disputed this with Discover. Do not try to charge me again and refund this amount to my Discover card. Also I have not had the account number with Discover you used in at least 2 years. They transferred this charge to my newer acct number. Do not try this again. I have heard that a lot of people have had similiar bogus charges from you. STOP THIS!

I was doing my daily account check on my account and I realised $60 has been deducted from my account on 12/10/2019 given to CCI.CARECOM without my authorization.I don't know how this company got hold of my my card information that allowed recurring payments.
It's barely two months since I changed my Visa card to clear myself from unnecessary recurring payments or services.
I don't have a Stable income so I try to be accountable for every penny in my account.

care.com is a scam company
We used this website 1 time in Spring 2014 for a babysitter and never used them for anything since. Recently I discovered they have charged my credit card $39 every month from 5/18 to 8/19. It was either through a hack of my wife's email or the company has scammed us. I was on the phone to their customer service who even admitted that the account was closed in 2018 but the charges still came. The person reads out of a notebook to get you off the phone and not solve the problem. Our kids have grown years ago and we have never had a need for this service. Someone could have hacked the account or I believe as the reviews suggest, that the company is built on scamming people through unauthorized membership charges. They would give me no remedy over the phone suggesting they would call me back.
pet & elderly care services
I was being charged a $87.00 recurring fee on a quarterly basis, Jan, in the months of April, July and October, for a CCI Care merchant fee. I have no records of signing up for services with CCI Care. I do not own a pet nor am I responsible for any elderly individuals and/or elderly care.
I have canceled my credit card with my bank and blocked this merchant from creating any additional fraudulent charges.
unauthorized annual fee charges
I noticed a charge for $130.65 that I didn't recognize on my Visa bill from CCI*CARE.COM. So I looked up the company & learned they provide elder & pet care. Neither are services I use & I didn't sign up for their services. The number they list as their Customer Service is out of service.
So I called my credit card company & was told this was an annual member ship fee & the company had also billed me the same amount last year on the same date.
I'd broken my wrist last year & wasn't able to do a whole lot of things so apparently just paid for that unfamiliar charge.
My credit card company's Security Department has set up a Fraud Complaint against this company & will issue a credit for both year's charges. Unfortunately, they also needed to cancel my current account & send a card for a new account.

I have been getting charges for something I have never signed up for starting from November 2017 to July 2018 where it was 39.00 per month never bothered to look into until today and discovered they are fraudulent charges. As by the number of complaints this company should be shut down. I have been charged 9 months for something that we had never initiated...

unauthorized credit card charges
I don't remember signing up for Care.com but have had my credit card charged $39 a month for almost two years. For a service we never used! I visited the site and created an online account but don't remember signing up to pay $39 a month for it; yet my credit charge has racked up almost $1K in 'monthly fees' to Care.com!
The company is using unethical behavior charging peoples credit cards without notifying them of the charge each month.
You should send notice to account holders that have inactive accounts over 90 days or so. This should have never been paid for two years without my knowledge.
I did not agree to renew this membership
I was just billed $156.00 to renew a service I have never used. I did not get any notice that you were about to renew this or for that large of an amount.
