CEFCO Convenience Stores cashier overcharging knowingly

Cashier at store #96 named Dewight knowingly overcharged for a sale of a refill and refused to return any change. I asked Dewight if he could explain why he refused to charge the correct price for the $0.85 refill after i paid $14.00 for my CEFCO cup and was told by the store manager upon purchase all refills were $0.85. Dewight knowingly lied and told Me after I handed him a dollar I had no change and the sales price was $ 1.50. No one at the store but Dewight is overcharging customers. I have receipts to the affect of how much I pay for a refills daily. He also refused to provide a receipt. Store #96 on 9-13-2019 11pm Dewight is stealing from the register and customers and refusing to do the right thing. As it stands I am still owed change. This is so unprofessional.

I walked in to play for gas with ten dollars in quarters, the lady behind the counter Ashley.. said she wasn't taking my money and shoved my change on the ground and made me pick it up, she continued to criticize me as I was picking up my money. Very bad employee. I'm glad my mother wasn't her customer. She embarrassed me very badly infront of customers, ill never go back... Teague TX 75860

CEFCO Convenience Stores customer service/car wash

Today is sunday, march 10, 2019. Around 1:30pm I had gone to the self-serve carwash, located behind the gas station and began rinsing my truck off. When the time ran out I walked over to the change machine to get more quarters and the change machine wouldn't take my dollar but the red light wasn't on. Needing more quarters to finish rinsing off the product I had sprayed on my truck prior to washing, I walked inside the cefco to get change (quarters) for my 3 dollars. The young girl working behind the counter told me that the carwash wasn't working and I explained to her that the reason my shirt was wet was because I had just used the "working" self-serve carwash. (so there wasn't any confusion I repeated that it was the self-serve carwash and not the automatic carwash that you drive thru.) the girl behind the counter said "well even if it (carwash) is working, i'm not giving you any quarters." I asked her "so I can't get quarters to use at your carwash?" and she said "no I already had to refund another customer his money because of that carwash so i'm not giving you any quarters." at this point I was upset because I could not understand why she would not give me quarters to use on their carwash? I asked to speak to the manager and the young girl said the manager had already left for the day... I actually own a carwash and several other businesses in another town about 12 minutes away from this cefco. I live in riesel, the same town as this cefco location and I wanted to spend my money locally because I know the importance of supporting local businesses. Plus my wife and I use this cefco all the time for gas and a few grocery items from time to time. As a carwash business owner, I understand the profit a carwash can have. I understand that it is impossible to always keep the change machine fully stocked with quarters and working properly. What I do not understand though, is the rudeness from the young girl behind the counter and the refusal to give me quarters so I could spend my money with them. The young girl didn't say she couldn't give me quarters because she didn't have extra quarters to give out, she just said "no i'm not giving you any quarters." I understand I am talking about a few dollars but if this is happening to everyone who tries to get change, I also know that this could definitely cut into my profit at the carwash and as a business owner I would definitely have a problem with this and would want to know. CEFCO Convenience Stores registers not working properly

Went into cefco in Covington tx and it said my card was approved but the register said it wasn't so I had to do it again I got charged for the same transaction 3 times then when you try to call about it no one knows anything and can't get a hold of corporate because it's the weekend they should really have a after hours call number for issues! No wonder all of the stores suck to the store managers never want to do anything they can't ever be bothered because one their either on their phones or smoking a cigarette or both and their is a line of customers! The district manager is just as bad! Complain to him while he's at the store and he shrugs it off like he doesn't want to hear it! We the customers are what keep those stores operating!

CEFCO Convenience Stores dvd

Has been a regular stop for us in the past. Filled up with gas for $55. Cashier (Chelsey Hill) rings up my order for snack, ice cream and dvd. I pay and realize it's more than I thought. I'm still at the counter with change in hand and proceed to tell her that I was over charged. The DVD was in a $10. rack but cashier said it was in the wrong place and it was $21.99. I told her I would put it back. She said"too bad, I can't give you a refund bc my manager isn't here."

CEFCO Convenience Stores manager/store 544

I am filing a complaint on sandy hudspeth for the way she treated me as an employee. I worked for store #544 & sandy hudspeth was really ugly to me! On 6/15/18 she came in at 6:00 am & took my register over & belittled me in front of all the customers that were in there for no reason! Teresa hinson was showing me how to make the tea because I hadn't worked there long. She was treating both of us like we were dogs in front of customers! On 6/17/18 she came in again at 6:00 am belittling me again in front of customers! She took my register over again & wouldn't let me count it down. She counted trendar down & I saw her put $100.00 in her pocket. She called me at 9:00 am & told me I was $90.00 short on trendar. When I called her she said I was $100.00 short. She sent me an email with my shifts deleted for the next week saying I was $100.00 short on trendar. I had taken $600.00 from a customer for diesel & I counted it twice! One time when he gave it to me & a second time when I set each pump for $300.00. Then when she came in & counted it down she said nothing about it being short until she called me at 9:00 am. I promise I saw her put $100.00 in her pocket. She wanted me out so she did that to have a reason to get rid of me! I am an honest person & would never steal from anybody or my job especially! My husband passed away 6 1/2 years ago & I have been robbed blind & ran over because I am a good person & say or do anything about what these people have done to me! I'm still being run over & taken advantage of because i'm scared to do anything about it! This kid tried to burn my house down with me in it & has destroyed my riding mower & I have no way to cut my yard now because i'm scared he will kill me & my animals! I have been a customer at cefco for 35 years & I really liked my job there. I don't understand why sandy didn't like me? I put in 60 hours my first week & almost 60 hours my second week because they had no help & she did me wrong! I know I saw her put $100.00 in her pocket when she was counting down trendar. I would like to have my job back if anyway possible because it is close to my home. I'm almost sure a few of the customers won't go back there either because she got rid of me! I know I won't ever go back there again because of her. She had no right to treat me that way because I did everything I could to help her when she was short handed. Thank you. CEFCO Convenience Stores an employee that works at cedar #8 in rockdale texas

I went in today 6/11/18 at 315 and the lady that works there name darla was really rasist I paid with food stamps and she exposed it to the whole store and was say that I got food stamps be cause I didn't work.. I'm sorry but she dont know who she is or she know me for her to say anything bout my life.. There for I hope y'all ate care of this problem..

There need to let go of ppl with additude problems .. U do work at the store hello if u don't like to be nice and have a problem with people then don't work at a store..

CEFCO Convenience Stores store #87

Over 2 weeks ago I sent my daughter to cefco store#87 to get me a pack of newport 100s in a box 2 sodas. My daughter called from the store and said the cashier said I did not have any money on my account so she could not purchase the items I then told her to come back home I would go back up there because somebody from that store just took 10.53 cents off of my account I just checked my account I then printed out a copy of my bank statement and headed to the store. When I got there I asked for a manager a caucasian female with short hair came from behind the counter and asked what was the problem I explained to her the cashier told my daughter she didn't have enough money to pay for the items I sent her to the store to get but took 10.53 off of my card. I then told her I need my money give me my money I do not have money to be giving away. The lady with the red shirt on asked the cashier where was the receipt because she had not given my daughter a receipt, she had no receipt not only that she had lied about the transaction she said that I did not have any money when actually I did. By this time i'm upset because she just took my money off my card and had not gave me the newports are the drinks. The lady with the red shirt finds the transaction and see where the lady took my money she turns around and tell me i'm going to have to wait to get my money back this has happened a lot at this store she then tells me you may get it in 5-7 days but she can't be for sure it may take longer than that. I tell her that is unfair because at that time that was my last not only that the cashier lied she took my money off my card then told my daughter I had no money! 16 days have passed and I still have not gotten my money so I decided to go to cefco and ask for the manager I spotted that same lady she looked me dead in my face and told me she was not the manager and she could not help me I then told her I was not going to keep playing with them about my money that they took from me please give the number to the corporate office. I don't have money to give away it was wrong of the cashier to lie and say I did not have money and just take my money off my card then not give me my money back that she took off my card. Then for the other lady to lie and say she was a manager knowing she wasn't then when I return about my money actin like she did not want to be bothered. Now i'm going to do whatever I have to do get my money back I don't have money to give away nor is it fair to just strong arm anybody out of there money then tell them you don't know when they will be getting there money back. That is not how you do business.

I stopped to shop in a cefco store that I do on a daily basis. The clerk just looked at me when I walked in, no acknowledgement of any kind. Being someone who runs a customer service department I understand long days. So I ignored that and waited for her to be ready to check me out.
When she returned to the counter she mumbled and looked at me. I had to directly ask if she was speaking to me and that I was unable to hear her. Her response was "well I said I can get you over here"

I paid for my product and had to ask for a receipt.. again no acknowledgement of any kind. She handed me the receipt and stated after she fixed her till and said "it must be a full moon" I did not understand this statement and asked her what she meant by that. Her response was "I'm having to deal with you and all these grouchy customers"
This angered me greatly. I felt like I had to defend myself but she wouldn't even stand there with me to finish the conversation. I told her that I deal with customers every day and maybe if she'd acknowledge their presence and Be polite people wouldn't respond that way. She walked away and proceeded to yell across the store that she deals with customers all day too. I walked away and then returned to ask for her supervisors information. She said "her name is sandy, she'll be her tomorrow. Go ahead and call her."

This was an unprompted conversation all I asked for a receipt. Nothing rude or aggressive. I understand sometimes you have a customer that Provokes confrontational situations but I had done no such thing.

I am extremely upset over this interaction and feel that someone needs to address it. I no longer care to stop at cefco and if I hadn't felt threatened by her I would have asked for a refund. I cannot believe you allow this in your store. I normally have courteous and helpful service but to have an employee make a side remark is absolutely unacceptable. I felt uncomfortable, threatened and attacked for no reason.

CEFCO Convenience Stores milk

I stopped by the cefco in MAGEE MS to purchase a gallon of milk that had a sign that says that it was 2.99 and when I got to the counter it rung up 3.99 and I told the cashier that the sign said 2.99 and she walked from behind the counter to go look and she bent down and said that the eggs are 2.99 and I said that I didn't bend down to see what was 2.99 all I saw was a lots of milk that was under a yellow tag that said 2.99 and I said that you have to give to to me for that price and she said that she couldn't give it to me for that price and I said where is the store manager she said he is not here and he ain't going to give it to you for that price as I was walking back to the register the other cashier was moving the milk under the correct sign and I got to the counter the cashier ask me do you still want the milk or not so I paid for the milk and I looked at her name tag and said Mary as I was walking out the door she shouted out loud in front of a store full of customers Brown and I turned around and said what she shouted out loud again Brown is my last name and I said I didn't ask you what your last name was and I walked out of the store I will spend another dime of my hard earned money there again to be treated rude for something that's not my fault I should have gone to Walmart like I started to

CEFCO Convenience Stores trespass order I received against me

The other night I was asulted by a ex Hubbard tx police officer that is currently from what I understand involved with whomever placed this order against me I did file charges on this individual and upon filing these charges I found out about this. Order the police told me I should contact you here so that is what I'm doing I've been raised in this town and never ordered not to be able to go anywhere in my life and if this so be the case why is it that Mr Walton the expolice officer of Hubbard did not receive a trespass order as I did being the one that was assulted in this situation if police records are necessary I can obtain them for you unfair and unjust actions is what I'm claiming i can be reached at pH # [protected]. CEFCO Convenience Stores horrific customer service with employees hating their job

This is a long one!"The CEFCO at 3905 S. Clear Creek in Killeen engaged in false advertisement when they posted a sale price on an item, yet charge the full price at the counter. In this case, it was Red Bull that had a red price tag of 2 for $5.33. However, at the counter, they refused to honor that price.

I complained on their Facebook page and got the following response:

"CEFCO Convenience Stores Ray, we're sorry for the inconvenience. We started new promotions yesterday and updated all of our signage yesterday. Please send us a message with your address so we can get the next Red Bull on us!

I sent my address and heard nothing for three months. I finally sent a message copying their original response and got the following:

"Ray, we apologize for letting this slip through the cracks. We are sending a $10 gift card and some coupons your way!

Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and hope you have a happy holidays."

OK...nice! Days later, I stopped at that CEFCO to purchase drinks. I handed the clerk, Juan, the gift card and he had no idea how to use it. He told me to swipe it. I did...twice...nothing. That didn't work, so I just paid cash. He then says, "Honestly, some companies just don't know how to do things right, and this is one of them." He then tells me he doesn't plan on staying there very long. Wow! Never heard an employee be so open about hating his job!

I decided to forget it and say nothing further. Yesterday (1-08-17) I was on highway 190 (I-14) enroute to Temple and stopped at the Shell in Nolanville to buy a drink. I put the soda on the counter and there was no one there. I waited and then said, "Hello!" No response. I left the soda on the counter and started to walk out. As I was near the exit, I could see a door open to a room behind the counter and a lady talking on a cell phone. She then walked to the counter, still on the cellphone. I just left. When I walked out, I looked at the window and saw the CEFCO name again! That's it! I will be more careful in the future and avoid any CEFCO I come across. I message the company, told them what happened, and also told them I wanted nothing from them. Naturally, no response. Stay away from CEFCO!

CEFCO Convenience Stores gas pumps

Store 0053 in Marlin, Tx, located at Hwy 7 and Business 6
I have been getting gasoline from this store for a long time. Why doesn't Cefco take care of its pumps. I first went to one pump and it would not take my card. I moved to another one and it took my card, but the glass over the $ amount you are pumping and the gallons is impossible to read. It seems like this would be an easy fix, just carelessness on Cefco's part. Why should I stand there and not know how much gas I am pumping. Please take better care of your facilities.

CEFCO Convenience Stores managers

Store 1098 has more managers than any other workers. The managers never want to do the job 100%. And they make the work harder on the cashiers. Also, none of the employees get a lunch break or a set schedule. However the store does have good cashiers that are always friendly and fast but hard workers. The managers are sometimes rude too. Hopefully this can be fixed.

I have been a loyal customer of cefco. I go to 508 in collinsville, ms its a young lady in there working by the name of lashana horton hard worker everytime I go into the store she greets she keeps it clean she is friendly. She has 4 kids no help. Well on friday october 13 I went in to see her cause they always having her there not today I asked the employee on duty she said she got suspended on 2 fraction that where neither her fault. Its just if a head person is friendly buddy buddy with a certain manager that anything goes her way. She has been with cefco for 1 year n 6 months hard hard friendly worker. I seen her saturday she is like its unfair im innocent for this suspended. You need her back at 508 customers missing her

Me and my husband have been regulars here at the store on 64 west in tyler texas for many many years there's a young pregnant lady in there I don't know if it maybe it's her pregnancy that's making her this way but she seems a little short with a few of the customers i've seen her work with I go in there several times a week it's not all the time but I have noticed it the last few times i've been in there even my husband commented on it when he came home the other evening from work

CEFCO Convenience Stores store manager

I recently quit working at cefco store 1075 in longview texas.. The reason I quit has to do with the store manager. I called in sick one day and the next day I had customers come to my second job telling me that she was talking all kinds of trash about me.. Lisa is not a good manager be any means. No manager should talk about her employees to customers calling them foul names. I had had several people tell me she is still talking abouttime and it has been 2 weeks since I quit. She also taught me and the other assistant that quit how to finagle the paperwork. She covering stuff up.

CEFCO Convenience Stores the management

I visit store 412 alot and am a regular customer of theirs and I have noticed since they have recently gotten a new manager that store is severely understaffed and the deli hardly has food out anymore and when I asked about it I was told that they were understaffed and didn't have anyone to cook and was givin an apology for it and lady was really nice. It seems that this store really needs help and I am still going to remain a loyal customer cause I believe in this store.

CEFCO Convenience Stores management

First of all, when some one gives you their availability and you schedule that person for every shift outside of their specified available hours, you've guaranteed yourself an employee who doesn't want to work there, which, in case you are unaware, effects the customer service aspect. Most companies are aware of this and make efforts to keep their employees. I guess cefco doesn't care about that.

Second, quit promoting your crappiest employees to assistant manager. Not only are you pissing off your loyal, hardworking employees, but you're making it harder to keep people, which pisses off your employees even more. When you promote someone up, especially someone who has no management experience whatsoever, at least train them. Don't just throw them in to the frying pan. And, no, showing them how to do paperwork isn't training them. This is pathetic. I'm so glad I don't work for you people anymore, and I will continue to tell people to avoid your stores.

Furthermore, your prices are absolutely ridiculous for the quality, or lack thereof, of your products.
