Our favorite painters. They're careful, honest, work hard, keep things tidy, and are really good at painting. They were really honest from the start and did everything they said they would. We'll only hire them again. We highly recommend them!

My CertaPro painter was nice, did a good job, and helped me out a lot. The job looks good! He was always on time and cleaned up the place real good at the end of each day. I'll hire them again.

CertaPro Painters of St. Charles was awesome to work with. They did great work and were really into my project. The crew was great at talking to me and we did a walk thru every day to see how things were going. I would totally use them again, no doubt about it.

This was such an ez process from start to finish. The salesmen and the office were knowledgable and helpful and the crew that came to our house were so ez to work with and friendly. Our ceilings look great! We will definetly use them again and recommend CertaPro to our friends.

The CertaPro painters did a pretty good job. We were told it was an eight hour job, but realistically took about 4 hours. The paint on our island started bleeding through weeks later. Even though they say their work is guaranteed, we haven't heard back from them after sending emails and leaving voice messages for several weeks.

CertaPro Painters of St. Charles did a great job paintin' the inside of my whole house. They finished the job in 3 1/2 days and did a good job cleanin' up after they were done. They were real nice and professional to work with, and I would definitely recommend 'em and hire 'em again for future projects.

Certa Pro was great at painting my whole house outside. They always show up on time and are really careful when they tape and wrap stuff so paint doesn't go everywhere. They ask for feedback every day and when they're done, they go through the project with you to fix anything that needs it. They're really good to work with. -

Our experience with CertaPro Painters of St. Charles was amazing from start to finish. The office peeps who handled our project did a fantastic job keeping us in the loop and getting everything sorted. The painters were super cool and spent a solid 10 minutes with us going through the whole shebang - colors, areas to be painted, and where they were gonna start. When they were done, we took a stroll around the project and they were totally chill answering all our queries. I'd totally recommend CertaPro Painters to our fam and buds.

Excellent job painting 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The painters were very polite and arrived on time. The work was excellent and they finished ahead of schedule. I highly recommend CertaPro Painters of St Charles.

They were prompt coming out for estimate on my exterior stucco paint project. Painter contacted me night before day of job. Painter talked with me prior to and after work completed to make sure everything was done correctly. Job was done on time. Area cleaner than before job. Very happy. Will use again.

CertaPro did an amazing job for us! We talked to 4 companies and they were the only one that performed their own plaster repair prior to painting. They were also surprisingly affordable. We scheduled the job about 5 weeks out and they were right on time. We had plaster repair, wallpaper removal, and painting done in 2 different areas. We’ll definitely use them again!

I hired Certapro to paint the outside of my house in February . Right from the start, the communication was tough, but I thought this company was reputable, just not this particular branch. The quote they gave me wasn't accurate, so I wrote down the agreements myself and sent them a signed contract. According to their way of doing business, they sent a painter from a different company who pointed out some areas of concern that were overlooked. He refused to do the job as quoted. They asked for an additional $5,500 to do the work their contractor wanted. I agreed to pay $2,500 if necessary, and they assured me that what he wanted was above the standard. They sent a new painting crew, but they raised the same issue. After the paint was already on the house, they told me it would cost $3,500. The primary painter wasn't the one doing the work, and the quality was really bad. I had so many issues and property damage, but they didn't want to respond. I took a lot of photos, but they didn't take any responsibility. They blamed it on the color and avoided addressing the problems.

My main complaint is that $936.00 was added to my original contract amount without notice. The job was to scrape off peeling paint, then re-prime and re-paint. I did not have a team of painters, as promised, only one man. He complained constantly that it was too much work to scrape peeling paint. He also argued with me about priming a small bedroom; even though the salesman who bid my job said it should be done. Eventually the company sent a young man to help the first painter. The two painters gave me, upon completion, a hugely elevated bill without explanation. They hovered over me and insisted I had to pay immediately and did contact someone from the office. I felt intimidated when I spoke with the franchise manager; he justified the extra $936.00 because "they have a trash bag full of scraped paint." He told me this was one of his best painters. Timewise, the job was supposed to take 3 days, but finished in 2 1/2, so no excess time was needed. I want to make sure that future potential customers are aware of these practices. I am questioning if they under bid jobs to get business and then jack up the price when completed without notice. The contract states changes along the way will be discussed with the customer. This did not happen. No manager/supervisor ever came to inspect the work after completion or notified me of an increase in price. No clear reason was ever given for the overcharge. Included in the $936.00 overcharge, I was charged twice for the above mentioned small bedroom. After all of this excess charge, the walls don't even look good. There are odd irregularities in the downstairs ceiling and the small bedroom has weird marks on the paint, like pressing sponge marks into the walls. The borders are sloppy and uneven.

We hired Certapro to paint. They finished on September 15th, but there was paint everywhere. I called them right away to let them know. There were paint speckles and big drips on the floor and black stair railing. They sent the crew to clean it up and paint a missed wall. They painted the wall, but they also removed the stain while trying to clean up the paint spots. I called again and said I would cancel the check because there was still paint on the floor. They said a supervisor would come, so I taped every spot with green tape. It was about 200 pieces of tape. The supervisor, Will, didn't come until September 28th. He tried to remove some of the paint, but it wouldn't come up. He said he needed to talk to the owner and contact a flooring company. On October 7th, he came with his SW paint rep and told me to call a flooring company to find out the cost of fixing it. I called Ambassador and they came on October 28th. They said the paint was in the wood grain and the floors needed to be sanded and refinished to remove it. They also said the first floor needed to be done because there were no transition pieces between the rooms. The living room is connected to several other rooms in the house. The floors were sanded and finished onsite, so we couldn't just order a few pieces to patch it up. I sent the $16k bid to Will on November 1st when I received it. They offered me $400 and threatened me with late fees and collections if I didn't accept. I found another flooring company to sand and refinish the top clear coat for $4k, so I told them I would settle for $1k. But they keep offering $400 and threatening me.
