I'm a size 18-20
I'm a size 18-20. I ordered the largest size available which was 3x and 2x/3x. The pants 3x on the tag, however, they fit like size 14. The sweaters I order also too small and poor quality. I can shop at any other women's clothing store and select these sizes with absolutely no problems at all. Then I tried to get a refund because I don't intend on shopping with this company again just to find out there are no refunds, just codes to get discounts on my next purchase. What good is a discount when I can't fit the clothes. Disappointed would be a understatement. We are in the middles of a pandemic and I wanted to treat myself. At least you could give people their money back if they are not satisfied with your false advertisement.

I reached out and the email I received from customer support said "Since our reviews are processed through our curation guidelines, we strive to keep publishing reviews that we as a company support!" This tells me I won't get my review published, and they are only curating positive reviews. It's a bummer, because it's really hard to find cute and reasonably priced plus sized clothing, but if I can't trust the company to give me honest reviews, I can't support it any further. TL:DR: They don't publish negative reviews and will only give you store credit for your returns. Spend your money elsewhere.

The clothes are definitely overpriced and the sizing is flawed. Please read the return policy before purchasing. You will be forced into a store credit. I have no plans for future purchases so I am out of money. Definitely not a good policy for on online retailer.
Canadian Buyers Beware
I received my shipment of clothing for the first time from this US business, hoping for amazing plus size clothing. What a disappointment. Clothing is cheaply made, but prices don't reflect the cheap quality of clothing. I ended up giving the items away to *** as I didn't want to pay shipping fees to return the items. I was charged shipping on the clothing and then just recently received another shipping invoice with additional shipping charges the company asks FedEx to send to the buyer. In all, shipping to *** was well over $100.00 now for 3 tops? Seriously

Ordered a size above my usual size. 2 pairs of leggings and 3 tops. Over 200 bucks wasted because only 1 top fit and the rest, including the supposedly stretchy leggings, did not fit at all. The leggings, a size 3x, fit my sister who wears a 14.

Really disappointed in their return policy. I have spent at least $1000 at Chic Soul and to find out, upon returning a few items from my most recent order (due to being too large), that they don't refund your money and only offer a gift card for the returned amount isn't what I want or expect when shopping for clothes. I also had to contact them asking if they received my return to get said gift card code. I will not be shopping with them again. It is irritating that I have to do so now with my "gift card" from my returned order. This return policy is ludicrous for the amount they charge for their clothes. This return policy should be clearly stated upon ordering. The best thing Chic Soul could do is update their return policy practices.

All the complaints...smh. You should ALWAYS read a companies return policy before you buy online. That's on you. I order from them regularly,I've NEVER had a problem with shipping, I've learned to ready the clothing description closely, does it stretch etc and look at the model and see how it fits. I understand not being able to return for different size, they only have so many of each style. Again...read before you purchase. It's all in their site. I love their clothes and will continue to buy!
I am a first time customer. I ordered 4 items. I received the shipment within about a week. I will be sending one top back and that is just because it was too big and not really the material I thought it was, but that's on me. I didn't read the description. I love that they give made in the USA options, I am trying to be more conscious of that. I have no problem with the return policy, as I will be ordering from them again. They are a bit pricy, but the clothes seem to be well made. We have a local store here that are about the same price wise with similar styles, but the clothes are cheap and flimsy.

I recently ordered a few sweaters from Chicsoul. If I knew they didn't do refunds, I would've order clothes from somewhere else, like ***. The clothes on the models looks great! But when I tried them on, they looked horrible. I wanted to return them immediately. Not only that, 2 of them made my skin very itchy to the point I couldn't wear them. Personally, there was no point of doing a return to get a "gift card code" because I didn't want to buy any of their clothes again. It's expensive, looks cheap and made me very itchy. Come to realize that they don't refund your method of payment, but hold you hostage to ordering from them again bu only giving you a gift card. That doesn't work when the clothes don't fit you. After emails not getting a response I called and got in touch with a Joy who is supposed to be the Customer Service Manager. She assured me, in writing that my return would be processed back to my form of payment and that did not happen and as you can imagine they are not responding. This company is clueless on what the term "customer service" means and they basically have lies and stole my money.

I have been a Chic Soul customer for 2 years now. I have had no issues with any of my orders so I am surprised to see so many negative reviews! I am mostly amazed at their shipping speed. I have orders pending from 2 others shops from over 2 weeks ago. I placed an order with Chic Soul 2 days ago (over the weekend) and it's scheduled to arrive tomorrow! Everyone else is claiming delays due to COVID, which is understandable but somehow Chic Soul is surpassing my expectations! Other shops should take note. I can't speak to the return policy as I haven't had to return anything, but I can say there is no shortage of items to choose from with store credit!

Unfortunately, I still have no clothes to review. I waited two weeks and when my tracking showed "delivered" it was to a town no where near my home. While CS has offered to ship the items again, (minus several items that are now sold out), and given me a credit code to shop for more items, I must say, I'm leary. It remains to be seen if the clothes fit or are quality as I haven't received anything a month later. And if they don't, shipping costs are on me to return. My order was over $200 and was my first with the company. While they seem to be trying to make it 'right', I doubt I'll be giving them a second chance. I needed these clothes for church, I'm out the money and have no clothes. I have to go buy them elsewhere now. Surely the company realizes this isn't a sustainable way to.run a business.

Chic Soul has the worst return policy I have ever heard of. Being that they are solely online, of course you do not know if the items will fit properly, until you receive them. Well, most of the items I received do not fit, and to send them back they only offer a gift card code. What am I supposed to do with a gift card when the smallest size is too big for every item I purchased? There is no alternative size that will fit. This is absolutely ridiculous, I received the package yesterday, and am returning it today, so there is no feasible reason why I should not be able to return the items that do not fit, less shipping charges, which is reasonable. I am well within the window of reasonable time to return, I paid in full, the items simply do not fit. This makes no sense and now I am out $200 with a company I cannot shop at.

Buyer beware! When I first came across this company, I was excited because cute plus-size clothing is hard to come by. However, what I found is that the items I received were extremely poor quality and ill-fitting. It is difficult to judge what you're truly buying from the limited information on their website (no fabric information, no close-up pictures, no care instructions.) Also, their return policy is extremely cumbersome and expensive. Only full-price items are returnable and you have to pay to ship the items back. Even then you can only get store credit! What is most alarming is that the company is suppressing negative reviews! I have tried 3 times to post reviews of the tops I purchased and they have yet to show up on the website, even though more recent reviews are visible. You'll notice that most reviews are very vague and almost all are 5-star reviews. Very dishonest business practice!

I agree with the negative reviews below! Buyer Beware! I will now be looking at every companies return policy and reviews that are from somewhere other than their own site. Of course no reviews below fives stars listed on their website. I ordered based off the size chart. The fabric on everything I ordered was cheap. I honestly don't think it's worth the time to pay to send the items back for store credit for other items that you have to pay shipping for again, and who knows if they will work out. Going to try to sell in a yard sell or consignment just to get if off my hands and get some money back. What company doesn't return the customer's money if they don't like the items and feel like they don't have anything that would work for them? No, I didn't reach out to customer service for some bogus excuse when they will just continue to make money regardless. Lost faith in online shopping today!

I posted a review about clothing not working for me and they responded by email with a saccharine sweet response that didn't even address my concern and didn't post the review. Which means we can't trust the ones that are there. They also refuse to refund money and will only give store credit. On top of that, they make the customer pay for return shipping. They also don't do replacements so if you are able to order the same piece in a different size, you have to pay shipping AGAIN for same item of clothing. They streamline all sizes into only three, 1x-3x which means if you are at the bottom or top of the size range, the clothes are not likely to fit well. I ordered four 1x tops based on their size chart and none of them fit--all too big. According to their chart, 1x is sizes 12-14. I am usually a 16 and they were all too big.

I love Chic Soul!
I love Chic Soul! I have just discovered them in the past two months I have ordered 6 times! I chucked out all my clothes that didn't spark joy...working on replaced with Chic Soul! Not everything worked I ordered but returns were so easy with Happg Returns and I knew (because I can read) that it would be in store credit, which is totally fine as there is SO many wonderful times. I LOVE how fast they ship their items! One downside is because the items are a little nicer than your local Target you can't just throw them in the washing machine, I did that and one 55 dollars and it totally shrunk. My bad though. Most items are hand wash, (again I can read )and saw it on all the labels. So I don't blame them at all. Now I just keep a special laundry bin for my CS items. But I LOVE their clothes, I feel beautiful in them and that is worth the price tag in my opinion! Thank you Chic Soul for creating a wonderful product! I'm hooked for life!

This boutique has beautiful clothes. I have found the sizing to be very compatible with things that I have ordered from Amazon. If a blouse or dress is flowy I can usually size down. Otherwise I have found everything else true to size or very close. I understand if it may not be a perfect fit every time because on line boutiques use various vendors. This is a learning curve that many on line shoppers need to understand. I have returned dresses that were too big but they were flowy and I knew that might be the case when I ordered it. But I had no issues with Chic Soul issuing a credit-as this is their stated policy and they did so right away after I shipped it back. I will continue to shop from here for me and my daughter. So far the clothing has been as expected and was described well on the website. In addition, so far I have experienced no issues at all with their customer service. I have no problem at all recommending them and giving them 5 stars.

For an online company their are far too many constraints. If an item does not fit, you can only receive a store credit. You then have to hope the next order fits well or you are stuck paying all the return shipping. Sale items are non refundable and most saw items are only 10% off. I paid 34 dollars for a top that was originally 37 and now I am stuck with it. The more loose fitting tops are deceivingly shapely on the only model used on their site. I ordered my exact measurements and the tops were huge! Very hard to judge what will fit or not which is expected for online shopping, but that is why most online clothing stores today offer a full refund or at least free return shipping. As a new company do it right the first time instead of cutting corners. Lastly, once you receive your item and realize it doesn't fit, all the other sizes are sold out by the time you are able to ship your items back! Just another reason why customers should receive a refund not a store credit.

I've ordered 4x from them and returned all but this last one. Only because they only issue return gift cards. You will not get your money back and I was tired of returning things. The quality of the clothing is really poor, looks and feel like amateurs are making the clothes, and in my opinion, extremely overpriced. I ordered according to the size charts and every time they have been wrong. This last time, I ordered what I thought were "safe" items, to spend my "gift cards" from my previous returns, a tie-dye biker short outfit and a pair of plain black biker shorts. The shirt in the outfit fit both me and my husband at the same time, wider than it is long. The black biker shorts were literally square, like they would fit Spongebob. Super disappointed and just wish I could have gotten my money back.

I tried to leave a 3-star review and a 2-star review multiple times on the quality of an item I received. The reviews were not hateful, hurtful, one-time defect, or person/body-type specific. I mentioned the fabric was itchy on one and the fabric was thin and see-through on another that was supposed to be a sweater. Ironically, these reviews never made it to their website, but my 5-star review was instantly posted. Like, no monitoring time from their customer service to make sure it meets their "company guidelines," nothing. It was just instantly on the website. I guess every 5-star review meets their company guidelines? I don't quite understand why Chic Soul thinks they should decide for us what reviews would be helpful to others, instead of just being honest and posting every review and letting the person reading the review decide if it is helpful to them or not. The clothes from this boutique are VERY expensive, and if someone is going to invest money in to the clothing from Chic Soul, it would be way more helpful to have an accurate representation of the experiences others have had with the clothing. I could never again, and others should never, trust the reviews posted on the Chic Soul website. I feel like this is a very dishonest way to run a business. I just hope people read these reviews before investing hundreds of dollars on clothes from this boutique like I did.

I echo what so many others have said. The clothing is cheap ***, half of it can't even be washed in the washing machine. I have been round and round with them, and have spent $75-$80 in shipping sending back things over and over because it's such poor quality and the prices are ridiculous for what you get. They won't let you return anything and get your money back LIKE A REPUTABLE BUSINESS DOES. They just keep gouging you on your dollar until and unless you give up. Which I did. And their customer service didn't help matters. I have talked to at least five people via their website, their Facebook, etc. They delete any reviews that aren't five stars, which in my opinion is not only a questionable business practice, it is dishonest. Try it and you'll see what I mean. You just keep submitting reviews and never see them appear on their social media or their website. If you are truthful, they squash your right to share your opinion. I also received an item that was damaged out of the box and they have done nothing but offer me a store credit to get more *** from them. The other item that was so cheap I doubt I could even sell it at a yard sale they dangled this offer for a one time refund on, but then told me I couldn't qualify for it because I had washed it. I received a wrinkled beyond belief garment that looked absolutely nothing like the picture, of course I washed it trying to see if the wrinkles would come out. Don't waste your time and warn all of your friends. I know I'll be sharing it on every social media platform to try to save someone else getting scammed.

When I received my order nothing fit and needed to return everything. I then realized the return policy was store credit only. After expressing my dissatisfaction they offered a courtesy refund but I decided to choose the gift card and buy something else. It was my mistake for not realizing what their return policy actually was. Plus the bathing suit was actually really cute and was willing to try a new size or print.
I went to process the return to then realize I couldn't return the bathing suit because it was on sale. I was told items that are part of the permanent sale collection aren't eligible for refunds. This is not stated anywhere on the sale page or the bathing suit page itself but only on their return policy page. Very misleading. Would have never purchased if adequately labeled as not returnable.
A customer service rep (over the phone) allowed me to return all items in my order (including the sale bathing suit) and processed it all for me on their end because I wasn't able to on mine. Great. Such a hassle but thankful that I can return the bathing suit too. Was told she sent the shipping label to my email but I never received it. Had to send more emails to figure out how to get this shipping label I needed for my return. Two days later I finally receive a shipping label. However, I had already sent a new email stating that I was fed up and would be proceeding with the one time courtesy refund that I was originally offered.
Today I received a response in regards to my courtesy refund. They are now telling me I have to complete a return through their website and ship the items back. I will receive a gift card for my return after the carrier scans the package. I then need to contact their customer service again for them to cancel the gift card and refund the money to my original form of payment. This was never said to me during my initial conversation with them about a courtesy refund. The lack of transparency is insane. Never again.

The complany is refusing to refund my account for a lost package more than $350! I placed an ORDER #*** and paid extra for express delivery.The package NEVER arrived but showed as delivered. Jumped through hoops after hoops to contact USPS as Chic Soul refused to investigate or look into things. They put the responsibility on me. USPS confirmed the package was lost to contact back the shipper for a refund or reshipment. Chic Soul is telling me to file a police report? What incredible incompetent customer service this is. To add insult to injury, I have made repeated purchases with this company, I would guestimate $[protected]. I also placed the order as they were having a 20% off promotion, which they rarely do and now not only am I missing a package, out of $350+, basically being called a liar, and now have to report the issue to the police or my other option is to receive one or two in stick items they have and receive some store credit without the pomo honored. This was only offered after my They are refusing to help due to a prior shipping issue more than a year back where they reshipped a lost order to my billing address and NOT my shipping address.They never made us aware they were reshipping and why the heck it would sent to my billing address is beyond me. The order I received was defective. The size 2 pants were child size. The tunic went below my knees. They do not do refunds. First time purchase Order date 8/28. Received 9/3. Order number *** Paid with MasterCard. $96.49. Emailed them as per policy regarding defective garmets asking for my money back. Policy for returns is all sales final and a gift card code will be emailed. If garmet(s) defective email directly. I did this and was told would receive a gift card code. Ordered 500 worth of clothing and returned most of the items seeing how the sizing just does not match up to what is shown on website. Was forced to pay high shipping fee to return item. I have reached out to the Usps by phone several times with no response. I have emailed the company and they are basically telling me it's on Usps and they aren't willing to help. I should have followed my guy thinking this company was a scam... now seeing all these complaints basically having my same issue. Purchased $275 worth of merchandise on or around 10/15 and had not been made aware of an exchange only policy. Items that were poorly made I paid to send back immediately and never heard from Chic Soul. I contacted the company to learn that they had a credit issued but didn't notify me. Do not want to use it. Discussed with Chic Soul, no avail. Attempt to use portion of credit and has failed. Associates at Chic Soul don't know why and aren't interested in fixing either.

I purchased 5 items totaling 205.00 no were in the check out process are you told that they will not refund your money,. I purchased 5 items totaling over 200 dollars, received them, tried them on and needed to return them. It was only then that I was told that their policy was to only offer store credit or gift cards. This policy is not made clear at any point in the check out process, and no it is like I am forced to make a $200 contribution to this business. I find that it is very unfair that this business is allowed to continue to fraudulently take peoples money and not return it when they ave received their items back. I it is a license to steal from those who are looking for clothes that fit.

On November 20, I ordered 8 pieces of clothing from the online company Chic Soul, including multiple sizes of the same item for sizing purposes. My order # was XXXXXXX. I spent $306.89. My clothing arrived and I promptly tried it all on. Sadly, items didn't fit me. I boxed up the ones that didn't fit to return for my money back. As I was boxing the items I saw the comment that they do not reimburse money - just credit for exchange. If I knew I'd be scammed out of my money I would not have ordered. If this information was clearly stated at the time I placed the order I would not have ordered. I would have instead gone to a store to try things on to see if they fit before buying. I'm very disappointed and feel scammed. I expect a full reimbursement and change of policy. I have contacted them for reimbursement instead of the gift card and they refuse.

Original package didn't show up and the replacement didn't either. Seems like this company is a scam. After making this purchase on Black Friday, I received shipping confirmation. The package never showed up. I emailed customer service after this and they sent me to contact USPS. They never had any information or got back to me on the claim. I contacted this company again and they said they would resend the package. After a while of hearing and recording nothing, I emailed again asking if I would get another shipping confirmation or if it would just show up. They said a shipping confirmation would be coming. I emailed today, 16 days later and they said the package arrived January 16th. I never received another shipping confirmation and the second "arrival date" was January 16th, which is 6 days prior to my email asking about shipping notification and then confirming another notification would be coming. This company seems like it is a scam because their dates are not lining up and USP didn't know about the first package.

I am super unhappy and dissatisfied with this company and their return practices. I am requesting a full refund back for all items. I ordered my first two shirts October 24th the entire order was $75.59 I kept one sweater Hearts Sweater which not including tax was $39.00. I purchased another sweater November 5th Time to unwind for 49.09 I ended up keeping that sweater. November 14th I purchased another sweater Angel in you for $49.71 which I sent back I got my exchange codes. I got another sweater I ordered November 16th I used $34.98 exchange code I paid $20.90 out of pocket. I returned that sweater and used my exchange code December 4th and ended up paying $37.05 out of pocket. I was only refunded $37.05. When in total I had spent close to $174.39 at this store and was only refunded $37.05. I want a refund closer to my full amount spent at this store out of 7 items I only kept 2. The quality is terrible, they smell funny no description is included on the product they withhold negative reviews. I am going to attach copies off all my receipts from Chic Soul along with my receipts from***.

On October 30, I ordered 7 pieces of clothing from the online company Chic Soul. My order number was #***. I spent $299.76 and thought I'd give this company a try. My clothing arrived and I promptly tried it all on. Sadly, none of the items fit me. I ordered sizes that I wear from many other brands so I thought they would work. They did not so I boxed them up to return for my money back. As I was boxing the items I saw the comment that they do not reimburse money - just credit for exchange. None of this clothing line fits me so that does no good! If I knew I'd be scammed out of $300 dollars I would not have ordered. If this information was clearly stated at the time I placed the order I would not have ordered. I would have instead gone to a store to try things on to see if they fit before buying. I'm very disappointed and feel scammed. I expect a full reimbursement and I expect the company to either change their policy or make it very clear before the buyer pushes purchase.

SKU 103 24.00 Slouchy Dolman Tunic Long Sleeved Wine 3x SKU 118 24.00 I paid with my card through PayPal Total 94.77 These tops are cheap you can see through them there so thin. They don't fit correctly and I wanted to send back for a refund. When I looked to see how to return I see they only offer a gift card code less the amount of tax and shipping. This information needs to be known up front. However if that was known less people would purchase so they don't show it upfront. You only learn about the gift card code when you need to return your pathetic pieces of fabric you purchased. The day my item arrived I emailed them which was [protected]. I received a reply on [protected] stating they only offer a Gift Card Code because they know I'll find something I want from there store. I don't want any of there cheap merchandise I want a full refund back to my card for the money I spent. We all work hard for our money and I wanted these nice tops for my daughter and I. Now I just want my money refunded. I feel this is a dishonest company and takes advantage of there customers.

I wish I could score lower! I ordered two items and they fit like a bag with a pattern. They have no shape and look terrible. I returned them only to learn they don't give you your money back AND they charge you a processing fee to take them back! What a scam. I texted with a rep who couldn't have cared less! Bought a few clothes from Chic Soul, but they were VERY large and cheaply made. Wanted to return the items, but they would only do for store credit. They charged me for the return and I tried again. But NOPE, these are just not my clothes. Once again, I want a refund, but have to fight to get it. Right now I am awaiting approval for my credit card refund. Horrible policy. *** has spoiled us. I would like a refund, as I have tried these clothes before and they do NOT FIT.
