05/15/2024 at 4am the store got a call, I answered to come to the assumption that it was just a scam caller, and hung up. Within 10mins my manager (Myron Blair)called my cellphone, and told me this person isn't a scammer and that they are safe to talk to.

So I received a second phone call from the person. I of course listened to my manager(Myron )and answered and followed all directions.. while doing this the man over the phone told me that my manager (Myron) was under investigation for making counterfeit money and turning it in to the bank, & all his communications were taped. With all that being dropped on me, I was told I can't say anything bc Myron could run or hide anything that would confirm this accusation. I was also told the only reason I'm being let in on this, is because he wanted to have someone who's at the store and can basically monitor anything and everything seen or not. I wasn't totally buying what this scammer was trying to sell to me, but when he had my FULL NAME AND EMPLOYEE ID NUMBER ALONG WITH MYRONS NAME AND ID NUMBER, AND BOTH OF OUR PERSONAL cellphone numbers. (On top of, let's not forget Myron confirmed with me earlier this guy is safe) I just tried my best to understand all the brand new information that was put on me. With Myron supposedly being under investigation, he couldn't be informed that there was going to be an audit (05/17/2024) bright and early and fix any money related stuff (if there was any) and if there was a problem or money missing anywhere, that our store would be closed effective immediately.. by this time Myron had clocked into release me from my over night shift and I let the man know, (since I'm not allowed to speak of anything he just told me) and so he asked to speak with Myron to "finish up the system update" and they ended the call. 05/16/2024 Abt 1130pm-1230 am my phone rings with the caller ID that stated "circle k corporate office" I knew I should probably answer? So I did, and it was the same exact man, telling me that we have to make sure the safe, and everything was ready for in the morning to pass this audit. I said ok ya , let's do it so I can go back to doing what I normally do. He gave me MYRONS login code for the safe and knew exactly what was going on , on the safe screen. And made me drop all the $ and move it to the office. I made sure while I was handling ANY AND ALL $ that I was in clear view of cameras and there would absolutely be no way that it would come back to me stealing. I don't want to steal the $ I was just trying to help, after all my manager told me this man is trustworthy. This went on for my whole shift basically.. till around 5am when the man w telling me I needed to go ahead and get the money and discreetly get it in my car , and then leave with it as well as basically leaving the store unattended, and unlocked. I immediately HUNG UP and got a hold of Myron telling him what happened, but definitely was destrought. Confused, crying , scared I was fixing to lose my job , and low and behold 6or 7 hours later they asked me to come in just to tell me they are laying me off bc I wasn't following company policy. I feel I was done wrong, that there was definitely probably something else we could have done instead of letting me go? I've been at this store for a year and a half. I was willing to do or take whatever punishment they could have given me, all except being fired. Also side note while doretta was firing me, she was happy About letting me go and didn't care at all Abt what happened or anything I had to say, in the most literal sense she was smiling at me while letting me go . (First time I've ever seen her smile in a year and a half btw
