ordered DVD from the company and found that the TV series were recorded directly from a TV station. Some of the dvds are so bad that you can't really watch. Try to contact the company by emails but no reply. Try to call the phone number listed in my bill also no answer. Be aware, the website is the same as Best DVD Series, TV DVD mania, Planet DVD...
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Why are they still on the web?
I guess I don't feel alone anymore, and that I'm the only one this happened to. I ordered the Highway to Heaven dvd box set about a couple years ago. It was off Amazon I think. It was $89 or so, and over $100 with tax and shipping. The picture on the front cover looks nothing like it did in their website. They told me the same thing- I think 10-14 days for delivery. I WAITED FOR OVER 3 MONTHS ! Then when it finally came, the first thing I noticed was that it came from China. (On the website, it said U.S.) The next thing I noticed, was how crummy the package looked that held the dvd's- the design on the front looked like something out of the 70's. There were 2 separate plastic cases, a little bigger than video cases, and 25 or so dvd's were crammed into each one, with very little protection. They were covered only by paper thin, measily little plastic covers. There were no titles of shows anywhere inside the set, or on the dvd's, so I didn't know what show I was seeing until I turned it on. From the very first day I tried the first dvd, the quality was very poor. My frustration grew over time, as almost EVERY dvd I put on DID NOT WORK AT ALL ! Over HALF of my DVD'S do not work AT ALL and I payed over $ 100 for them! STUPID JERKS! Even more of them do not work now, since I've had the set- they're so poor quality, that after I played some of them a couple times, they quit working. On top of all that, quite a few of the shows have been taped 2 or 3 times, so I have doubles of some of the dvd's- which is a waste. I want a complete set- one where ALL the shows work, but I don't want to pay for it all over again somewhere else, or buy it online again, and get ripped off again, so I guess I have to live with it. Very frustrated. I also tried to email/ call someone to complain and get my money back, but there was no contact number or email address. Why doesn't someone close these places down and fine them heavily?
