We have worked with many loan brokers for the purchase of many properties over 20+ years and Devon Smith with Click Start Mortgage is the best we have dealt with. His service was outstanding and super-helpful and went the extra mile every step of the way in putting together a very complicated mortgage loan for the purchase of our home and at the same time for a 4-Plex purchase. Others told us it was too risky to try to do both loans at the same time, but we did not want to lose either property, so we proceeded with confidence. The loan was also more complicated to get approved because we have several sources of income that needed to get approved with the underwriters. His rates were also the best of several we checked out, which will save us many thousands of dollars over the loan terms. As part of a divorce, I needed to refinance my home. I began the process with a different mortgage company. It was an old home and the bank kept holding up the process requiring engineering reports, construction work and hefty fees to hold my APR. I constantly struggled getting help or returned messages. After over $9000 invested (engineer $1000, construction deposit $7500, rate hold fee $500) and no guarantee of closing, I started with another bank only to find rates had skyrocketed.
