I went to them for a root canal and crown, First they overcharge me, then even though I told them I was allergic to nickel they put a metal crown in my mouth and of course I had a reaction to it, so then I had to fight with them, the insurance company and they corporate office, until I finally got the insurance company to accept the new crown procedure. Then I was told that the difference in price between the two was a $150.00 but the insurance company said no it was only $28, My portion $12 so I have been overcharge again and now they refuse to give me my money back, claiming a lab fee, and my battle continues.

Was multiple times overcharged and although in at first I'd let it accumulate as credit for following visits, I simply can't afford the luxury of having a credit somewhere I only visit 2/year anymore. At times they wouldn't even bill my insurance for procedures done just because it wasn't listed even though my insurance has explained to them to list the "unlisted procedure" under misc. in order for the insurance to determine if it will be covered. I'm sick of overpaying for no reason. I'm leaving and spreading the word of the horrible services they provide.
Coast Dental is the worst place to go. I should have read all these reviews sooner before i went. When I went they took an x ray and said that my enamel was vary week. Then they started poking there explorer tool into my teeth. IF MY ENAMEL IS VARY WEEK YOU DO NOT GO POKING HOLES IN IT!. The lady who was poking got the explorer stuck in one of my teeth. She had to pule so hard that she ended up lifting my head off the chair! They said I would need like 4 root canals and 4 fillings. My Mom just couldnt afford it even with insurance.
No thanks im dun with coast dental. The people at coast dental did not give us customer care rather they were vary rude. I question how much the staff at coast dental knows about dental health b/c as I have said they took an x ray and said that my enamel was vary week. Then they started poking there explorer tool into my teeth. The explorer got stuck and the lady had to pull so hard it lifted my head up off the head rest. Now if my enamel is week then it goes against common sense to poke a sharp tool such as an explorer that deep and that hard. Keep in mind I had no pain in any of my teeth before or during the appointment (even when she was ''exploring'') ;however after the appointment I started to feel pain and some sensitivity. Eventually I started to note some rot were I think the explorer had been. My tooth brush couldnt reach the stuff and when I used a pick it would give me sharp pain. I do have a lot of Qs the first one being why they did what they did.
