I had a really bad experience with Cocomelody. I followed their instructions to return my purchase and have proof of delivery from the shipping company, but they are claiming they can't find it. They say that UPS is lying and they haven't received it, and they won't refund my money. I've shown them proof, but they just send me photos of their parking lot with mountains of packages! I don't believe they've even gone through those mountains to be able to know whether or not mine is there. They keep asking me about shipping insurance to pawn the responsibility off on the shipping company. The shipping company delivered the dress and it is Cocomelody's responsibility to refund my money at this point. I bet they try to pull this with everyone to get out of refunding people! Buyers beware!

CocoMelody Dress Review: Poor Quality and Customer Service
The dress I received from CocoMelody was not up to par. I noticed a crooked back seam that was off by 2 inches, which was very noticeable due to the beading. Additionally, there was a bulge in the backside of the fitted dress that was not flattering. The arm seams were tight around the outside, but loose in the back between the shoulder blades, which made it look floppy and sloppy.
The dress had an elastic band around the ribcage to pull it close to my body and accentuate the bust line, but it was 5 inches too big. The side seam on the hip bulged out on the right side and wouldn't lay flat without being altered. The fabric had so many layers around the midsection and hips that it felt like a diaper was wrapped around my hips and waist. To top it off, there was a rip on the inside of the dress.
I had to spend an additional $500 to alter the dress, even though I had paid for custom sizing. When I notified CocoMelody about the issues, all I got were excuses about "slight alterations" being needed even with custom sizing. To make matters worse, they removed my review from their website.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience with CocoMelody. The dress I received was not worth the money I paid for it, and the customer service was lacking. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality dress.

I recently bought a bridesmaid dress from CocoMelody and let me tell you, the return process was a complete nightmare. The quality of the dress was very poor and it seemed like it was made very cheaply. I have never had such a difficult time trying to return anything ever in my life! The customer service was very difficult to deal with - it's almost as if they want to make the return process as difficult as can be so you give up and just keep a dress you will never wear! After emailing back and forth for nearly a week, I was finally given instructions on how to proceed with my return. Throughout the email exchange, the customer service representative (who spoke very broken English) kept telling me to take it to alterations and pay money to alter it so I would like it and keep it. I'm sorry, what?! She also kept telling me to use a mailing service which is more expensive than the others, and to buy insurance for my return. She also wrote multiple times that the mail carriers often lose packages and not to be surprised if my return gets lost. Again, almost making it seem like a pain to return it and that they likely wouldn't get it? I've never experienced this in my life!
Despite all of this, I did end up returning the dress via USPS, did not buy insurance, have tracked it at every step of the way, and communicated the status of the package delivery to this customer service rep and asked for confirmation on her end when it actually arrived. I received confirmation of its arrival, but I am still waiting for my refund.
Overall, I would NOT recommend anyone to buy online from CocoMelody. The return process was a complete nightmare and the customer service was very difficult to deal with. We wanted a full refund since it was their fault and it was causing so much inconvenience. The staff told us, "either 70% or nothing," which was rude.
They then deleted my sister's comments off their Instagram and blocked her. They might reply to you on social media in a nice way, but behind closed doors and in private, they do not care. After we left an overwhelming amount of comments, a staff named Abigail emailed my sister that she had to take down all the comments and feedback on their page before they give the other 30% refund.
In my experience, Cocomelody has the worst post-sale customer service I have ever encountered. After taking your money, they do not care about you. I did a lot of research and read a lot of horror stories about buying wedding dresses online. But then I stumbled upon Cocomelody.com and I was pleasantly surprised.
Their prices were slightly higher than other online sites, but still much cheaper than in-store boutiques. This actually made me feel better about it. I did plenty of research and read as many independent reviews as I could find. I found that most of the reviews were positive, which gave me the confidence to take the risk and order from Cocomelody. I ordered quite early, so that if it didn't go to plan I would still have time to find another option.
I was impressed with how honest they were about purchasing online, that their dresses are made in China (like most dresses to be honest) and that they had physical stores. I also appreciated the chat section where I could ask questions. I did ask several questions about fabric options etc, and the person who responded made contact with the tailor and sent me a quality reply within 24 hours which was great.
I ordered a custom-made dress, so I supplied my measurements. The production time was 30 days, plus 10 days delivery. I was alerted that my dress was completed and being sent out after about 33 days, so pretty spot on, then delivery only took about 3 or 4 days. They provided a tracking number so I could see the progress of delivery at all times. The package arrived just in a plastic bag, so not packaged particularly carefully, but mine was not a creasing fabric so it was ok.
I was extremely nervous at all times throughout my purchase. I was quite anxious that it would be different, poor quality, or just not turn up at all. Opening the dress was exciting and I was so relieved to see that the dress was just perfect! It was exactly the same as the pictures on the website - of course I was aware that the pictures were of tall thin models and I am short and curvy so knew it would look different. But the fabric, style, cut, everything was exactly as I had hoped for. And If I expected the quality not to be great from an online purchase I was wrong. The quality of the fabric and sewing/stitching was fantastic. My mother is a sewer and she was very impressed.
I do need to make some alterations as it is just a little loose on me, however this is entirely my fault as I was generous with the measurements as I was aware that to take it in is easier than it would be to let it out. Cocomelody did say that brides should always expect to make some alterations to make it perfect so I was expecting this. I am very happy with my dress, I feel beautiful in it and I cannot wait to show my hubby to be on my wedding day. I am happy to give the dress, and Cocomelody.com a five-star review!

The company refuses to take my return of a dress that has not been worn and cannot be altered. I purchased my gown on April 16, 2019 through Sezzle a third party payment plan. My dress arrived on May 30 and I could not zip it up all the way, there was approximately one inch that I could not zip and there was 2 inch gaping in the bust. The beading started to fall off of the dress Could not make an appointment with a seamstress until about 2 weeks after I received the dress and it was deemed unalterable. At this point I was out of the return policy and had no hopes of returning. Now that I am no longer even getting married the company has refused to accept my return at all and will not even exchange it even though the situation was explained to them. They deemed my gown "second hand" even though they would have take it back in 7 days. I can provide photo evidence that the dress has not been worn and that it is poorly made and ill fitting. The suggestion from Ruth in customer service was that I try to sell the gown myself and no other resolution as now the gown is "second hand."

I couldn't afford that, especially since my wedding was in January, so I had no choice but to accept the dress and leave. As a courtesy, she extended their online sale and refunded me a certain amount, but now I have to buy a completely new dress because the one I purchased from them looks so cheap that I can't bear it. I refuse to go back and argue with the manager, as she is extremely rude and disrespectful. She should not be working in the wedding industry.
