la creme skin care
I just received a pink notice saying I owed $87.63. I have paid for the cream and have the statement from my CC to show for it. I cancelled after that because I didn't like the cream. I have tried to contact both companies, but have not received any information back. There is no way to reach Collect Pros. After reading all the complaints I am wondering who to contact to get this cleared up. Feels like a scam!
idol lash $155.94 debt i've never heard of before today.
I received a pink letter today January 13, 2016 dated Dec 30, 2015 giving a www.com address to dispute claim. First I called the number they provided [protected] telling me to go to web site to dispute. I did that and followed instructions by providing reference number. Instead of disputes it stated thank you for confirming your debt. What a scam... I am 72 years old and never order from any on line crap. First of all I am almost blind and cannot wear makup due to allergies. But to direct someone to a web site that deliberately confirms when it states it is designed to dispute the vadility of said debt is surely a scam to begin with. The reference number is 955389. I had a friend try and the page she got was different but wouldnt let her enter information then she was redirected to the same page I had used. SCAM ALL THE WAY
I received a pink letter from collectpros today out of Woburn, ma. for someing called La Cream. I don"t know what this is .I am not able to work and will not pay what ever this is . now I did have my debt card stolen .had to close my account .dont continued to say anything else to me about this.

collection letter
Just received a notice from Collect Pros stating that I owe $79.95...only refers to a reference number and a product called Oxy Genius...I have called this number and got only a computer recording stating I could pay by telephone, mail or go to www.collect pros.com/dispute...I have no idea what this is...I pay all my bills and have excellent credit and do not want this on my credit report...I feel that this is a scam...please help...Name is Gayle Massey, 27110 Jarrod Blvd., Harvest, AL 35749 Letter is dated 12/09/15 and states that if I do not notify them within 30 days after receipt of this letter that the validity of this debt, or any portion of it, is disputed, we will assume that the debt is valid...
Received the same letter. And when I tried to talk to someone a computer won't let me go further until I enter a credit card #.
la creme skin care
I ordered a free trial size of La Creme Skin Care, by Bella Labs, and paid $4.99 for shipping/handling. Without my authorization, a larger size of creme was delivered to me & I was billed $87.63. I notified my credit card company to dispute the charges as I did not order the item and was returning it. This was earlier in the year, before April, 2015. The item was returned and the credit card company did not pay the charge. Now, I moved from the east coast to the west coast and I received a collection notice from Collect Pros, PO Box 4133, Woburn, MA [protected] asking me to pay $87.63. This is not a valid debt, as the item was returned!
In their add it says sample and when I got charged for the whole amount $87.63 . I was forced to pay this amount in August. 2015 They also automatically sent me an auto refill which I did not authorize and I returned the product in the mail saying I do not wish to have auto order.
I received a collection notice from Collect Pros for this amount this January even if this order has been long time cancelled and which I never received another product.
There is no way to contact them as it's an automated machine. What do I do to settle this?
Same thing here.i got emails saved that i cancelled subscribtion and also refunded my money..wtf?this letter came 8 months after the fact.i think it's bs., so is face cream because i used it day and night and still dont look like sandra bullock..
I had the same issue. I returned two products to the company after they charged me at the end of a 2 week trial period. There was nothing that said I needed to return the products, but I do so that I could get refunded. The company refunded my money after I returned the products. Now I'm being harassed by a Collect Pros in an attempt to collect a debt for something I've already been refunded for. I've been looking around online and many people have received letters from this collection company for things they've never ordered.
debt collection notice from collect pros
10/26/2015: Rec'd a pink Courtesy Notice from Collect Pros (Reference #867281) to collect $175.26 on behalf of La Creme Skin Care ($87.63) + Bella Labs ($87.63) for trial samples I ordered online on 01/19/2015. These items were returned unopened to the vendors within a week of receipt. Now, 9 months later, I receive a collection notice from Collect Pros without ever having been contacted by said companies. A few hours ago, I attempted to contact Collect Pros via phone and email to dispute this claim, to no avail. The dispute email was returned undelivered. I just submitted a complaint to the BBB when I came upon this website.
la crime skin care and bella labs
Received a notice of debt for two products paid for by my credit card company . On my February-March 2015 statement it shows the posted amounts to La Creme skin care and Bellalabs for 87.63 each. Today is Oct 27, 2015. Received the notice yesterday and contacted my credit card company and spoke with Tommy in the dispute department . He says it shows the amounts in question and that the credit card company paid it. Why am getting this notice now after 8 months? The original creditor was IronAds. Somebody is trying to get more money out of me for something I already paid for. Read up on collect pros and how people are getting scammed. Well i won't be one of them! I will contact the better business bureau if this is not resolved. Thank you.

I received a letterwith Reference No. 383873 dated 4/3/15 stating that I owe $79.95 for a product I didn't order. after 5/3/15, a collection fee was supposedly added and $99.95 will be due. I attempted to clarify this debt and dispute it but there was no live person to talk to about this bill at [protected]. This place should be investigated: Collect Pros 311 West Third Street, Carson City, NV 89703

I Just received a pink letter from Collect Pros attempting to collect a debt for an Entertainment Weekly Magazine for $332.50. I did not order this nor did I ever receive this magazine. My reference number#581492. This is a scam. I called the #877 to dispute it but they referred me to go on to the website and write a formal dispute letter why I'm disputing this matter. I went to the website but all they are referring about is to pay the debt. I immediately called my Lawyer and dispute this ASAP. They are using my underage daughter to pay a debt that never exists. That's my dispute. Hopefully this problem can be resolve immediately and not affect my credit in the future. This Collect Pros Agency should stop scamming and harassing people.
I also received a Pink Letter saying they were collecting $365.75 on behalf of Entertainment Weekly. I wrote to EW and received a response that I had never subscribed to EW and there was no money owed to them. There is no doubt that Collect Pros are scamming folks.

Just received a pink letter from Collect Pros attempting to collect a debt from my 14 years old daughter for an Entertainment Weekly Magazine for $274.05.She did not order this nor did she ever receive this magazine. Her reference number#575836. This is a scam. I called the #877 to dispute it but they referred me to go on to the website and write a formal dispute letter why I'm disputing this matter. I went to the website but all they are referring about is to pay the debt. I immediately called my Lawyer and dispute this ASAP. My daughter is only 14 years old and had no credit card nor credit to begin with to order this magazine. They are using my underage daughter to pay a debt that never exists. That's my dispute. Hopefully this problem can be resolve immediately and not affect my daughter's credit in the future. This Collect Pros Agency should stop scamming and harassing people.
collection on a magazine not ordered
I received a scam letter on pink paper stating they are trying to collect a debit of $365.75 payable within 30 days for a magazine called Entertainment Weekly. I DID NOT order this magazine. Reference # given is 548590 with the date of the letter being 5/20/2015. I called the phone # provided & hit prompt # 3 so I could speak to a representative. The call kept returning to the very beginning as there was no rep to speak with. I have no intention of paying them 1 penny as this is a total scam letter!
I received the same pink letter today with the exact same amount. It is for US Weekly Magazine. The collect pros said that I should pay immediately otherwise it would affect my credit score. When I called they suggest me to dispute it from www.collectpros.com/dispute. When I did that it showed that the debit is very valid and they have the phone conversation audio to prove it. I called US Weekly magazine but they said that I have no account there. Is this really a scam? Will it affect my credit?
Please suggest !
I have received a letter on pink paper stating they are trying to collect a debit of $365.75 payable within 30 days for a magazine called Entertainment Weekly ! reference number 495966 letter dated 5/20/2015 ! I have called twice and keep getting the the same message!

bill for magazines never ordered or received
Received a bill yesterday from Collect Pros acting as a debt collector for unnamed company. Bill indicated that I owe $365.75 for Entertainment Weekly magazine, with payment due within 30 days. Ref # 509355.
I have never ordered nor received this magazine.
Phone # is a constant loop, only allowing payment even though they tell you they will transfer you to a rep.
A website dispute form is not available as indicated - they only provide info stating this is a valid claim and you owe money, looks very official - supposedly they have a recording of customer placing phone order?
Fraudulent attempt to collect on nonexistent debt or product never ordered or received.

Trying to collect money on a purchase I never made -- something called "Valere Skin". Absurd

Received a letter in the mail stating that I owed 99.01 for a product called Encante Eye. No one answers the phone but wants me to make a sure payment online or over the phone. A complete SCAM!
Complaint is listed with credit card company!
Never heard of DermaFi or Rejuven!
I just got a letter in the mail dated 9-27-16 that they are attempting to collect a debt. No indication of service date or anything!
I have receive a letter from this company that I need to pay $ 174.90 that I did not order magazines. Called the number on the letter the lady said to go on line and make a comment. I ask for the one in charge but she said the person can not talk right now. So I am writing this letter because this is harassment and if it does not stop I will get a hold of better business beau or a lawyer and then we will see what going to happen with this. I think this is not right to be doing this.
i got the same letter in the mail for 365.75 and never order us weekly magazine iv called and it said press three for a rep and no one would answer im not to happy about being scam so i need to contact a lawyer and see what can be done
mail fraud
Recieved a letter from collect pros saying I was 30 days pay due on a us weekly magazine subscription that I never ordered for the amount of $332.50. When you call its just a recording and won't let you talk to anyone. Wants you to go on website to pay that way.
My son received a letter from Collections Pro, P.O. Box4133, Woborn, MA [protected] today. It states he owes for a magazine subscription he never ordered. He does not own a credit card or a debit card. I tried to call, but after 20 minutes and a carousel of messages, I finally hung up. I went to the website and lodged a formal complaint. This is absolutely ludicrous.
receive false claim of a debt I owe.
I received a letter today (5/26/15) claiming I owe $365.75 for Entertainment Weekly Magazine. I have never ordered this magazine, received this magazine, in fact I have never heard of it. I tried to dispute this claim on their website, was unsuccessful but happened across this sight while on line. I now know it is a scam.
collection notice
I just got a letter from them myself for 299.95 for US WEEKLY. I looked them up online and it says I purchased a subscription through the phone with a company called 'LEVY 9 MAGAZINE CONSULTING.' but when I looked up the company Levy 9 all I found was Levy 9 Car Consulting. This is what it says on the BBB for Collect Pros:
The website domains collectpros.com and gscmcollections.com are registered to Santrinico Enterprises Ltd. in Larnaca, Cyprus. The Republic of Cyprus is an island country in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea - See more at: http://www.bbb.org/reno/business-reviews/collection-agencies/collect-pros-in-carson-city-nv-90017305#sthash.nRExl3St.dpuf
Since I couldn't find anything on Levy 9 Magazine Consulting I decided to all US Weekly's customer service and they told me that tis company is a SCAM. Apparently they are aware that Collector Pros is sending notices out in their name and they assured me that I have no pending debt with this magazine. Also they asked me to forward them a copy of the letter I got int he mail because they are currently having legal investigate the company.
So anyone who gets a letter saying you owe for US WEEKLY magazine send them an email at [protected]@customersvc.com with a scanned copy of the letter you received and let them know what's going on. Also I went to the CP website and disputed the charge which led to a page saying they would ot pursue the debt any longer. I guess now it's time to play the waiting game and see what happens.

I received a letter from Collect Pros, notifying me I owed $332.50, which they were collecting on behalf of Us Weekly Magazine. Received debit collection notice from Collect Pros pertaining to a magazine Entertainment Weekly. Never received prior notices nor the magazine. Contacted Entertainment Weekly and advised no record of account ever existing nor any attempt to collect a debit. This is a fraudulent attempt to collect a debit.
Just contacted Entertainment Weekly Magazines, spoke with one of their rep. He told me that there have been numerous calls regarding this issues. He mentioned the name of the collection agency, without even mentioning it. This is fraudulent and should be discarded. Their company are aware of this fraudulent and people who receives them should automatically just discard the notice..
Does anybody have the phone # for Entertainment Weekly?
I also received a notice from Collect Pros for $365.75 yesterday stating a past due amount from Entertainment Weekly . I have never ordered and never received a copy of this magazine. The envelope was from Carson City NV and the notice (including A reference number which you can use to look up on their website stating this is a legitimate claim). They also mention in the letter... for "your" convenience you can pay the past due amount on their secure website which indicates to me they would then have your credit card and/or bank information.
I just received the exact same pink letter scamming that I owe $199.20! I am pissed! I think it is mail fraud and these crooks need to get caught! I too, have never! Ever! ordered "Entertainment weekly"! nor would I ever! I do not know how they got my name, but you can bet I am going to sick the Federal Mail Fraud department on these criminals! My letter came from:
Collect Pros
Dated 05/20/2015
From PO Box 4133, Woburn, MA [protected]. They better watch out!
I received a pink letter from this collect pros today concerning an Entertainment Weekly Mag. for the sum of $332.50. I have never heard of this Magazine, let a lone subscribe to it. These scams are getting worse. I have no intension paying for something I never ordered. Even the Better Business Bureau does not back this company.
My brother is attorney and will be receiving a copy of this letter.
just got a letter from collect pros today 23 may 2015 say I need to pay 365.75 for entertainment weekly I have never look at that magazine
I received a pink letter today explaining that I owed $274.05 for Entertainment Weekly magazine. Of course it was ###, I would never get that crap magazine. Anyways, I tried calling and got a full mailbox. So, I left a dispute-mail basically calling him/her out. Don't fall for their ### made website either. All we need is more ### out there trying to rip-off decent hard working people. Probably some welfare recipient already living on our tax money. Just my thoughts. Have a great day everyone!
I just got off the phone with Entertainment Weekly. They stated they are receiving numerous calls regarding this company. They verified my address and no subscription, then asked me to fax a copy of my collection letter to them.
I have also emailed the police departments in both cities, not that they can do anything...but made me feel better!
I received a nice pink demand letter for my $199.20 Entertainment Weekly Magazine subscription as well. Not only have I NEVER ordered this magazine, must be a damn good magazine for anyone to pay $200 for a subscription to. This had better not hit my credit report!
Can i have the phone for entertainment weekly i have received the same letter please and thanks
entertainment weekly bill
They sent me a collection bill for $365.75 for a magazine, Entertainment Weekly, that i do not get, have never ordered and have absolutely zero interest in. It is a bogus bill. When i called to complain the number listed was a pay by credit card only number, not a valid business phone number where a human is actually there. I don't want bad credit, but this is not mine. How do i go about taking care of this scam?
Collect Pros is attempting to collect $87.63 for an item I did not order and had immediately returned. The seller again sent me another item which was promptly returned. I am concerned that since the seller has my basic mailing info, they will continue to send me unwanted or unsolicited items.
Yep, I got one too, 5/20/2015. Postage paid in Florida and return address in Carson City, Nevada. Not going to worry abut it, just file it in the circular file!
Yep gotten same pink letter here ...i wonder if someone will send some anthrax to that P.O. Box ...not that I'm encouraging that sort of thing ...two wrongs don't make a right
So If its a fraud then we shouldnt worry about it hurting our credit correct. there should be some place we can turn people in for this right. thanks for your blog or i would have thought i needed to do something. i am throughing this notice in the trash.
The collect pros have send me a bill letter $365.75 which I had never order and Magazine,
I have the exact notice re: Entertainment Weekly magazine. I am calling BBB as well.
I received a letter from Collect Pros stating I owed $365.75 for Entertainment Weekly. I have never ordered this magazine. I have excellent credit and am afraid this is going to hurt my credit score. Tried to call the number on the letter but cannot talk to anyone.
I hope they don't have my debit card information.
I received the same notice although mine was dated 5/20/15. I have never order this magazine nor would I ever.
23 May 2015
Received a notice to collect a debt from Collect Pros today. The product is listed as Entertainment Weekly Magazine and the amount in collection is stated as $365.75 as others have received. There was never an order placed for this magazine. I, too, attempted to call to dispute but only got a computer.
I am turning this notice over to the United Postal Service and the BBB.
Judy Parsons, Portland TX
letter saying I owe a debt that I know nothing about.
November 3, 2014, I noticed on my Visa statement that there was a charge of $5.87 for a Mango Cleanse on November 2, 2014. I called my Credit Union and had that amount canceled, knowing nothing about what this was or how it was ordered. I called the phone #[protected] that appeared next to Mango Cleanser. No surprise, no one answered the phone. I repeatedly called November 3rd. and 4th, no answer.
In April, 2015, I received a form letter from Collect Pros saying that I owed $79.95 for a Mango Cleanser. I have never ordered or received a Mango Cleanser. The form stated if I didn't pay this amount by May 3, 2015, the amount owing would increase to $99.95.
This is a total Scam.
I received the same type of letter and no one would give me straight answers.
I called the company and they told me I owed them nothing. This is ridiculous
not to mention annoying on top of this I don't have the time for their scam crap.
Someone should sue this Collect Pros.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN I DO NOT KNOW OF ANY ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY MAGAZINE AND I DID NOT ORDER ANY MAGAZINE. THIS IS NOT MY BILL AND I DONT OWE ANY ONE $274.05. HELL I DON'T HAVE TIME TO READ ANY BOOKS OR MAGAZINES I AM WORKING TWO JOBS MONDAY - SUNDAY. JUST DON'T HAVE THE TIME.
debt collection scam
I received a letter today stating that this company was contacting me to collect a debt of $365.75. I was given 3 options for paying the debt, by internet, phone or mail using the form at the end of the pink notice. I was also told that in order to dispute the debt I only had 3 days and it needed to be in writing or it would be invalid, otherwise the debt would be considered valid and further actions would be taken and a copy of judgement would be mailed to me. Nowhere in the body of the letter was the business that I owed mentioned or the type of debt it was. I did notice at the top right side of the letter that the overdue balance was for US Weekly Magazine. I have never ordered US Weekly Magazine nor have I received a copy of this magazine. This letter is a scam and I am really mad that it has been sent to me. How can we stop these scam robbers? Beware out there everyone.
I got the same letter! When I called them I got a recording but it did offer an option to speak to an agent. I was on hold a long time, but finally got to speak to "John" with a foreign accent. He told me to submit a dispute "in writing" in the next 30 days or the debt would be valid. The letter says I owe $332.50 for a magazine I never ordered or received. This is a scam! Nobody would spend that much money for a subscription to Entertainment Weekly magazine! I plan to contact the Attorney General about this scam!
Got the same letter and tried to call the number listed, followed the prompts and when I selected 3 to speak with a live person, I got disconnected. Tried again, same thing. Then, looked up Collect Pros and found all the other people who received the same letter for delinquent magazine payments for exactly the same amount as I did. As my husband said, for every honest person, there has to be at least 10 dishonest persons out there! I'm beginning to agree with him!
I received the exact letter. What do I do next.? And why is this still going on.
I received the same letter. I have never in my life ordered a magazine from this company. I tried to call but only recd an automated voice. thank you for posting that this is a scam, I had a feeling that it was and now it is confirmed!

I received the same pink letter from Collect Pros on a LaCreme Skin Care.. I had cancelled my order once the price of $87.63 was billed to me. I did not send product back and told the representative of the Skin Care. What do I do now?

I have a letter from COLLECT PROS dated January 13, 2016 which I received in February. Their claim states I owe a debt for LaCreme. The address to send payment is PO Box 4133, Woburn MA. I cancelled my subscription purchase of that product in July 2015 and paid my balance in full. I have filed a complaint with the USPS Inspection Service online. Though I did not lose money in this fraud, I hope it will be investigated and the perpetrators prosecuted.
