I love Columbia. Free shipping if you join their reward program. Excellent customer service. They stand behind what they sell. You can also get rewards for joining their program.

Purchased swimming shorts and slippers for my vacation. Swimming shorts faded and buttom of slipper came off. I went back to store showing the status of them. The store assistant talked with her manager and advised me to get in touch with customer care. I did it, but customer care was careless and shared that he can not do anything and advised me to go back to store. It was a long ridiculous conversation. At the end no solution and resolution. The customer care advised me to accept it as it is which was the funniest aggravating thing in our conversation! I have been purchasing a lot from them. This is what happens when they get big! They do not care about their customers! Poor quality of products and poor quality of employee quality... Signs of beginning of downfall!

What an absolute terrible way to conduct business. Your customer service representatives were fairly nice but the company's policies or garbage. I paid for overnight shipping and my order was lost. Your customer service lied to be about how they were going about my product lost and for five minutes refused to repay my money for overnight freight. After I finally received my products, your company sent the wrong product to me. I checked my order and apparently, as things happen, there was a mistake getting the correct product that I ordered. I contacted customer service to inform them what happened and instead of being assisted, I was told I personally have to go online, re-order my product, and pay for it again. That has to be some joke. You guys mess up my order, and you want me to redo everything, have double the money tied up in your bull$#*! no exchange program. Take a look at yourself. Do you really thing that's fair. Would you do that with an order you placed at another company? When the company messed up. That's terrible terrible customer service. I will never ever buy anything Columbia product again. I am making sure I tell everyone possible how your customer service was the least helpful possible and how bull$#*! your policies are. Your own customer service staff agreed it was stupid. I cannot believe a company today still exists with how terrible this experience is. I will be leaving this review everywhere I possibly can to make sure people who buy from you know they are basically rolling the dice and hope they get the right product. If not, they just have to pay and order again. WHAT A JOKE!

Recently, I purchased a pair of winter boots from Columbia Sportswear to prepare for the harsh winter climate in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, my experience with the delivery process was not a pleasant one as the package was delivered without even mentioning my apartment number. To my dismay, they claimed to have left the package at my doorstep, which is unlikely as my area is not highly trafficked and is somewhat secluded. However, despite the inconvenience, I decided to deal with the issue with USPS.

Despite expressing my dissatisfaction and grievances, I was informed that I was out of luck and that it was a problem that I had to take up with USPS. Although I attempted to seek a compromise well within my rights, they refused to take responsibility or extend any form of compensation for the delivery issue. Ultimately, I had to escalate the matter to my credit card company to get my money refunded.

Unfortunately, I never received a call back. I then tried to reach out via chat, but that proved to be another dead end. The chat bot asked if I wanted to speak to a live person. Naturally, I clicked "yes", and was instructed to call customer service - the exact same place I'd just tried to contact!

Determined to resolve the issue, I spent a whopping 2 and a half hours waiting on hold. And to make matters worse, I still had 164 customers ahead of me when I finally reached a representative. This was all incredibly frustrating, and left me wondering why Columbia Sportswear wasn't better prepared to handle these types of situations.

In the end, I would advise anyone thinking of shopping at Columbia Sportswear to reconsider. After all, there are plenty of other great options out there that won't leave you stranded on hold for hours on end!

To make matters worse, their recommended chat option did not function properly and only added to my frustration.

All of this has led me to vow never to purchase anything from Columbia online again. While their products may be of good quality, the hassle of dealing with their customer service is simply not worth it. If you do choose to order from them, I strongly suggest that you pray they get your order correct or that you don't later find yourself in a position of needing to return anything. Despite calling customer service numerous times, I was informed that the company was unable to take the payment from my credit card, therefore, my order had been cancelled. I even reached out to two different customer representatives via email, in the hope that I could provide a screenshot of my credit card or account statement to show that the payment had indeed been taken from me, but a solution has yet to be found. I spent a total of 150 dollars on the products that I never received, and to add insult to injury, it was supposed to be a birthday present for someone special. Needless to say, this experience has left me feeling extremely frustrated and upset. I have ample proof of the payment and will be sharing my negative experience with others. When I think back on what should have been a great week, I can only blame Columbia Sportswear for letting me down.
