I've spoken with Combined Insurance Repr. on the following days re: status of claim:
11/14/24 @ 8:45am, 11/18/24 @ 11:28am and 4:07pm, I was told that this matter would be expedited and learned today @2:50pm that the adjuster had not done anything. I was also placed on (2) brief holds that amounted to 40 minutes with no resolution.
My policy requires a 30-day waiting period. I filed my claim on the 33rd day, 10/15/24. All claim forms were completed and faxed to the number provided. I received confirmation that Combined Insurance was in receipt of the forms. I did not receive a call indicating there were any issues/discrepancies with the forms. However, it is now 11/19/24 and I have yet to receive a disability check. I'm perplexed as to why this is occurring given the fact that I have followed procedure to the letter.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate some concrete answers that include when the check will be mailed out. It has been over (60) days of waiting.Thank you.

In order to solve the issue at hand, reach out to Combined Insurance again, and ask them about the reason for the delay. Once again emphasize that all measures have been taken, and people have promised on several occasions that the issue would be dealt with, but to no avail. Mention particular dates and times when you had made the calls and ask what reason the adjuster gives as to why he has not done anything. Given the circumstances, emphasize how critical the situation is due to its effect on you. If this does not work within a reasonable time limit, consider taking matters further by making a complaint to the commissioner of insurance for your state.
