AAA credit card accoint
Account had an outstanding credit. Requested Comenity account representative to send me the credit. They suggested to send it to my linked bank account. After 4 days no records of a transaction. Called Comenity and they said it may take 3 or 4 more days. For a transfer between banks? Something is not right and they won’t mail me a check since the transfer was already initiated
Desired outcome: Want my credit. I refuse to se this AAA card anymore.
Credit card
Blind-sided by late fees and interest charges on my AAA credit card that I thought was being handled by Bank of America was now being handled by Comenity Bank. I did get a new card which I thought came from Bank of America. I then started to get charged late fees and interest on $1 balance that remained before the transfer. Total charges exceeded $33. That is 3300% charge which is loan sharking. I have closed the account yet will not absolve me of the charges. Because I did not approve the transfer from Bank of America to Comenity, I do not owe anything to Comenity not even the $1 that I owe to Bank of America. I am not sure Comenity is a bank because I have never seen any branches in my neighborhood.
Desired outcome: I owe nothing to Comenity Bank.
Payments
Although I am automatic payments, Commenity Bank does not process on time. My January 1, 2023 payment was returned and I was charged a late fee (which was returned). Now my February 1 payment was not processed and they are saying I am late again. I sent another payment, which they processed, and then found out they processed my February 1 payment.
I have very good credit and it seems their method of processing payments will adversely affect my credit rating.
Desired outcome: Stop the harassments of late payments, acknowledge they made a huge mistake when processing payments.
Loft credit card
On 2/15/2022 I sent a final payment to pay off the card. Weeks later I received a refund for the same amount. I cashed the check thinking I must have overpaid on the final balance. In June 2022 the card began accumulating interest and late fees as they reversed the refund and placed the balance back in the card. I never received an email, paper statement or phone call. Cut to 1/2/2023 when credit karma notified me that my credit score dropped over 100 points because of a delinquent account. (Loft) After logging into Loft/commenity, I saw the issue and immediately called Commenity. The agent stated he couldn’t help me and sent me to collections. I informed that agent of what happened, he advised me he was opening a dispute which would take 30 days (the letter stated 90). I began calling back near the 30 day mark as I saw another late fee and interest were added, dropping my credit score again. The collections agent, Darrell, stated no further fees would accumulate while under investigation. 6 agents told me different versions of results/status, one said he would take care of it, to check my account 3 days later. The account was still showing past due with a balance. A supervisor informed me that if they remove all the fees, I would still be responsible for paying the original balance.
Desired outcome: Remove all late fees and interest, assume the balance as this went too far and dropped my credit score 113 points. Notify credit bureaus of the error to adjust my credit history/score.

They debited my checking account without authorization for purchases I never made. They refuse to send me an invoice for what they believe I purchased and are now harassing me for payment. When I call customer service, I get disconnected. At this point, I just want them to go away and leave me alone Most recently I received an "URGENT" message for payment and a creepy
email about how they know this is a hard time for people because it is tax season and will help me pay my so-called debt.
Desired outcome: Just that they go away. I can provide documentation if requested.
Overstock credit card
After paying off my overstock credit card in full, I canceled the card because of numourous late fees that were inaccurate. This month (almost two years after I Canceled the card) I received a bill for $ 300.00. After going through several conversations with their management, they admitted their mistake and that I owed them nothing. Meanwhile comenity bank showed my overstock card as charged off. Thus severely damaging my credit. Speaking to their staff is a nightmare.
Desired outcome: If they don't correct their mistake with all three credit bureaus, I will take them to court. Second notice twenty days left.
Invoice for 2/9/2023
Received a bill that shows a late payment. Our bank sent them a paper check since they do not have an electronic for Comenity. They sent the payment on 1/13/2023; it was not due until 1/16/2023. That is 3 days. It does not take 3 days to go from our Bank to Dallas, Texas. I should not have been charged $25 for late payment. I had better get my $25 back. They are the worse credit card from the very beginning. Late in gettting our credit cards; had a hard time activating one of the cards.

AAA Visa
set up bill pay with my bank as I had with B of A, the previous bank AAA credit card provider, Scheduled payment 2 weeks prior to due date. Comenity did not receive payment. Spoke with my bank and Comenity rep and supervisor to explain situation to avoid late payment fees. I have had the BoA AAA card since its inception and never had problems. My bank notifies me that Comenity requires a check which my bank then sends them. So, to avoid fees, since the payment was due in 2 days, my bank put a stop payment on the check and I paid the entire $2800+ bill with a direct transfer from my bank. One week later Comenity cashes check and another $2800+ is debited from my bank account. When I again explained the situation to Comenity, they did not care and refused to remove the $28 returned check fee. this is not the only problem i have had with them. I had a fraudulent charge which they have not rectified either. Worst customer service ever, especially for a AAA product. I once had a problem with bill payment with BoA and they were happy to remove the interest and penalties. I have always paid my bill on time and in full. Apparently, Comenity does not care about their customers.
Desired outcome: refund of check return fee.
Customer service
I called on Jan 21, 2023 to pay my account. The first representative took my payment and was fine. I advised him I had additional question so he transferred me to customer service. The lady first told me that the payment I just made covered Jan and Feb. later in the conversation she advised me that I'm past due for feb. I asked her many times to explain since it is not yet feb, she continued to give me conflicting information. I then said "Mam, I'm not trying to be rude, but this isn't making sense to me, could you please transfer me to someone who might be able to explain it differently ". She said "Yes, I will transfer you". The last thing I heard was her say "These stupid Americans don't understand " then the call was disconnected.
Desired outcome: I want community back to pull the call records and explain their customer service and discrimination policies
Victoria's secret credit card
Closed my account without notice and there has been no explanation. Always paid on-time and was not using any of the available credit. Try to call them and the system hangs up when it recognizes you. What a terrible company. This type of activity does not look good on a credit report. I have worked hard to keep my accounts in good standing but when a company closes with good reasoning it just sets you back from your goals. Would understand if there was a missed payment but this was one of my best accounts that I managed perfectly. Will not ever purchase from Victoria's again after this.

Bjs credit card
In August of 2022 I was double billed for a hotel stay. I stayed in 1 room but I was billed for 2 rooms. I’ve reached out to the hotel, to Bjs, and the booking agent. Per the booking agency someone booked the hotel room $587.12 through Priceline. I didn’t not do this transaction. I have called to dispute these charges as fraudulent. After being on hold for HOURS with a Comenity Rep my call was then transferred to another dept after waiting hours once again I finally hung up. So I’m making payments for a transaction that I didn’t do. Comenity has the WORST customer service of any credit card company I’ve ever dealt with. I’m disabled and it is frustrating to get through to these people. Do not accept any credit card offers from this company.
Desired outcome: I would like them to credit my account t for the fraudulent charge and have better customer service. I think this is a scam.

When I go to pay my bill online, it keeps saying they are having technical difficulties which makes my payments late. I called them and they say sorry and still charge me late charges. I pay my bills on time and at the 1st of the month and the 15th of the month. I want this fix.
Desired outcome: I want my late charges back and my account to say I pay on time like I always do. This is affecting my credit rating.
Commenity
I made a purchase at Camping world using my Commenity account. On the checkout it gave me the option to pay over 12 months with no interest. I selected that option. Commenity has been charging me interest monthly and refuses to resolve the issue. I cannot reach an agent onshore and am consistently being responded to with canned responses. Not a single statement is answering my questions! Poor customer service and lousy research abilities.
Desired outcome: Remove the interest charged and honor the agreement.
Bj's Comenity Mastercard
Comenity has been screwing up royally since around last summer. First they misplaced a $1000 dollar payment. They apologized and eventually found it around 6 weeks later. Around the same time I started having problems with my Awards at checkout. The website says I have $300 in Awards but whether or not they show up when I check out is like playing Russian Roulette. I've pretty much had it. Within the last few days I was sent a letter saying that Capital One was taking over. That explained everything. I'm tired of all the glitches. I've sent a message asking to have my Awards given to me as a check. That has not happened. If slightly dodgy things have been happening to your account, you are not alone.
Desired outcome: The desired outcome ideally is to have my Awards sent to me in the form of a check.

The reader digest version: Applied for a Petco credit card in June, needed more info, pictures of ss card, license, and w-2 - stupid me actually sent it. It took 4 months to get credit card. Used credit card once in September and have a 460+ balance. Have been trying to pay it now for over 2 months. I can't open an on line acct - your system won't let me - ITS ALWAYS DOWN. Called Customer Service an average of 2x a week for the past two months trying to pay bill - Customer Service can't accept it because they can't get into my account. I refuse to mail, I don't think you'll ever get it and I won't have any proof. I want to pay this credit card so I can get rid of this disaster of an account. BJ's perks Mastercard
was issued card in Aug/Sept 2022. was able to make one purchase and card stopped working. comenity.net/bjs does not recognize my card number. customer service cannot pull up my account information nor take a payment. EZ pay option by phone does not recognize my account.. after many phone calls attempting to make payments and register account on line, i just got off the phone again (Dec 28th) with CSR and was told i need to make payment in full and they cannot refund late fees and interest charges and my account in collections now. Website still says "technical glitch" in system and doesn't recognize my account info. My credit score has dropped 100 points.
Desired outcome: Credit late fees and interest charges, accept payment for balance, and close account.
redeeming points
i have been trying to redeem my accumulated points with comenity bank. They closed my account down months ago. I have over 45,000 points that i can not utilize. About 30 days ago they told me i could redeem them with BAKKT. i have tried numerous times, BAKKT told me that Comenity is not listed as one of their vendors. Finally today I get a response from the that i can redeem the points with the Hinda rewards catalog. But no where can I find a Hinda catalog. Comenity needs to be sued royally for their improper business practices. This is ridiculous! On top of everything, these points have to be redeemed by 12/31/22.

Comenity inherited me as a new AAA Visa Signature cardholder from Bank of America's AAA book of business.
I called Comenity customer support in September. They helped credit me $967.20 for a fraudulent charge on the 3013 card -- or perhaps it was one ending in 4280.
Air Serbia was paid Sept. 27 for a flight to Belgrade i never took. I contested a few other lesser claims as well.
On Oct. 28, Comenity sent me a letter that said a card ending in 9538 had been canceled. I merely had to pay $234.88 to take the balance to 0.
On or about Nov. 6, 2022, i paid the balance on any all cards, including 9538, to zero by paying $234.88. I'm presuming my original 1-card from AAA somehow got tracked under the two other last-4-of-account numbers.

If you opened a card with this company close it immediately. When I applied for credit my apr was supposed to be 18%. It was kinda high but I usually pay my balance off before I'm billed. Well..I was 3 days late on my bill. (I had not received my bill in the mail and had to sign on to see what I owed.) I was charged finance/interest rate of almost 60% of my balance. Almost 60%!
I emailed them and they sent generalized responses basically saying 'oh we changed the interest rate 2 months ago did you see our email? Nope. This bank nor company will get another cent from me. I will open my own kids store before I ever shop here again.
