$10 coupon offer
Complete Savings places $10 savings coupons on other businesses websites. After you complete a credit card purchase from Performance Bike and many other "reputible" retailers, you can click on this coupon offer and ComSavings captures your credit card information and you have agreed to a $12/month fee foe discount coupons. The retailer and Complete Savings each say they are not affiliated with the other and that the $12/month fee is explained in the terms. I did not see the terms, did not realize I had left Performance Bike's website, and feel strongly that Performance Bike providing my credit card information to Complete Savings is fraud. Do Not buy from Performance Bike or any merchant that links you to Complete Savings.

using debit card unauthorized
I was making an appt. for AARP medicare because I received a card. When I called to make appt. a gentlemen connected me to this complete savings, which I never heard of. I hung up because I did not want anything. I checked my bank online and notice they had used my debit card and deducted $12.00, but I do not know where they got my card number since I...

As many of you I recieved an unauthorized charge to my debit checking account. It was for $12.00. Not only that but I didn't have any funds in my checking account at that time and was hit with a $25.00 NSF from my bank. After reading peoples comments on here and collecting as much info as I could I called the companies number and talked with a CSR Of course I knew it would get me no where to argue the charge with her. So I asked her about the charge and she said it was from the business I did with OneStopPlus.com. Ok, so I just had her cancel the so called membership. Then I contacted the companies customer service rep. couldn't get ahold of her personnally so used the email listed in one of these complaints. Asked for a refund, also contacted the Connecticut Better Business Bureau, also good info I found via previous compliants on here, to file a complaint and try to get a refund that way. And off to the bank Monday to get a new debit card and try to beg for the NSF charge to be lifted. Wow, I used to love to shop on-line. To bad I won't feel safe to do that anymore until these companies and their affilitates are stopped!

like so many of you ive been scammed has well. it too bad that i didnt catch it to almost two years later. i though the charges were from my savings acct at my back. well i couldnt take it anymore so i went in to find out that it was this complete savings crap im really pissed. now that ive found that out im really in law suit mode. i urge others to follow suit.
complete savings is diffinitely a scam to me. like many if you who caught the charges before it got out of had i did not. its been almost two years and I'm just now realizing it. i thought the charges were from my bank and it wasn't. so now i'm in law suit mode if i do not get refunded my money. i urge other to follow suit.
That's horrible. But I know what you mean. I check here all the time to find out which companies to avoid when online shopping. I also ask companies, I'm not sure about, before ordering from them if they are associated with Complete Savings.
fraud
We also have had $12.00 a month taken from out bank account with absolutely no authorization from completesavings.com. we have ordered pizza from pizza hut similar to other complaints and ordered flowers for mothers day and cannot figure out where this came from. If pizza hut is the culprit then we will hunt them down for a reimbursement and never buy online again. every phone number and website associated with this fraudulent company is fake... does anyone know how to find these people?

Are you from the UK? Only you say £10.
I too fell victim of this scam when I tried to make a purchase through Argos and hidden stealthily within the purchasing process - I am disgusted that Argos aid and abet these scammers. Have you recently made a purchase on line and during the transaction seen a 'Claim your £10 back' insertion (I thought it was to claim back the £10 off the item had shown on the ad on the picture of the item. If so that's how they conned you into giving them your personal data and credit/debit card details! I was lucky and because alarm bells rang my daughter and I did some research and saw they charge you £120 a year for something you neither knew you had, needed or wanted.
I eventually also discovered an email from Complete Savings which of course went to my Junk folder as it looks like any other phishing scam!
You might find that they will charge you £120 a YEAR if you don't cancel.
I found these details in the end and cancelled shgortly after I made the purchase from Argos -

I rung and gave them a piece of my mind as well as CANCELLING my large order from Argos, as I was disgusted that they too allow and encourage their customers to be conned by this scam without even knowing!
I also took back a £149 printer my daughter had ordered a few days later! They lost several hundred pounds from me and as I've just had a house fire several hundred more potentially too.
When I cintacted Argos I was also appauled that their Customer Service assistant on line defended this and basically implied I was stupid and should have read the T&C - I never saw anything about T&C's - she also said they were a 'Prefered Partner' of Argos - what the hell does that mean - and if that's the case why do they HIDE the 'purchase' into the scam withing and uring the transaction for items - why not clearly advertise this as a product or legitimate membership?
This is a vile practice - Argos will NEVER have my custom again.
I suggest maybe you too find out who gave them your personal data and sneakily, through a deliberately confusing veiled trick, your credit card details too and I suggest you VOTE WITH YOUR FEET!
I also got in touch with BBC's 'Watchdog' to ask them to do a piece on this to alert other unsuspecting customers of Argos and any other company that aligns themselves with this sneaky underhand and morally corrupt practice: http://www.bbc.co.uk/watchdog/gotastory/
Good luck!
:)
I have tried to contact complete savings to no avail, i cannot recall giving my bank details to this company, although it was only £10 i need to get it back as i am a pensioner. Can someone help me?
I got the same expericence with this cheating company. I just don't know how they got my credit card number. They are doing fishing! They just want to get the money from the people who is doing online shopping. I think not everyone look at account/ or credit card statement carefully, and not everyone read the all emails/mails from begine to end (especially there are so many junck mail) - and they (completesaving) got the money by fishing! I think we need to let more people know this. Hope our government or some org can check the way this company doing business.
I cancel my credit card account yesterday.
We need to make everyone and our government know this and stop them!
My husband signed me up for some 30 day trial acct with COMPLETE SAVINGS. I looked at the benefits they offer, but none seemed relevant enough to us for us to pay $12.00 per month, so I cancelled that memebership after about 2 weeks (on 10/2/09).
They withdrew $12.00 from my acct on 10/21/09 even though my membership had been cancelled. When I realized the charge was taken out I called them. They then took another $12.00 out of my acct on 11/9/09. I called them AGAIN. They promised me a refund of $24.00 ($12 for 10/21/09 and $12 for 11/9/09 charges). I rec'd ONE $12.00 refund but was still waiting on the other.
Today (12/9/09) I check my bank acct to find they have AGAIN taken $12.00! I have tried several times to cancel and they keep withdrawing money! I have contacted them again today because I am now owed $12 for 11/9/09 and $12 for today!
DO THEY EVER STOP?!?!
I signed up through an online order to Lane Bryant and did not realize that I would be charged $12 per month. I never used any of their discount coupons as they were not anything I wanted. I finally was able to get my account canceled uisng the number [protected] with no problem but I am out all the payments I made so far. I consider it a sneaky offer but as for my loss, it's a real learning experience to never be suckered in again by on of these misleading offers.
I signed up for the Complete Savings through Pizza Hut last year. I decided to keep the membership past the trial period because it DOES pay me $10 back for one Pizza Hut purchase per month - which almost covers the cost of my membership. ($12 per month)
To get my $10 check for my pizza I just have to forward the Pizza Hut confirmation email to them.
Since we order Pizza all the time, the "true" cost to me is $2 per month.
Since I can order 4 discount gift card from them per month ($25 gift cards cost $20) I order gift cards for CVS, Sears, Red Lobster, Home Depot, K-Mart, Shell and BP gas, etc - and easily make my $2 back. $100 worth of gift cards from companies I use all the time costs me $80.
I also recently got my car towed for free - because the $12 per month membership also includes roadside service at no extra charge.
Every few months I get a $25 Visa Card from cashing in points I receive from printing coupons at their site (buy one get one free dinners, 20% off purchase coupons, etc)
So though I was hesitant to join, I do not consider it to be a scam, and I certainly get way more than my $12 from them each month.
i also was signed up but when i called them after NOT receiving any discounts or coupons i was told they would cancel my account but now it seems i paid 12.00 for nothing and not even someone trying to explain what happened -just cancelled. thanks taking my money! r.parsons
Every email completesavings.com sent me had instructions to cancel my account. I called the toll free number listed by Mary and got a cancellation. How I came to be signed up in the first place is the real mystery. I thought I was filling out a customer satisfaction survey after buying something from Performance Bicycle. I apparently wasn't paying close enough attention as I filled out the survey. I didn't know I was going to be billed - until $12 was taken out of my account. I won't be filling out any more customer satisfaction surveys unless I read the fine print more carefully. This is a very sneaky company. Their coupons and discounts are legit, but their methods for getting you to sign up are questionable. They need to be more up front about what they are up to and be more up front about the fact that they are going to bill you monthly.
credit card charges
Complete savings is masquerading as a savings club which magically appears on your credit card statement charging 12.00 a month without your authorization. They slip links in the terms and conditions section or checkout section offering rebate or discounts for purchases by entering your email address and then automactically enroll you in the monthly club...

I received a debit on my credit card of $12.00 on May 5th, which I did not give out, they called me from [protected] number and I told them I was not interested as well.
When I finally got ahold of Complet Savings they told me that I had logged onto an AmeriMarc site and they charged me a membership fee just because I logged onto their site. That still does not explain how they got my credit card number.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL. I have see where Pizza Hut and J. Miller have had complaints about Complete Savings as well.
Anyone else know what to do about this scam?

I love Complete Savings. It almost pays for itself. The $10 monthly bonus covers most of the $12 a month fee. $5 AMC movie tickets are a great deal for movie goers. Pookie, all of the other coupons and even cash they offer. Every six months or so I get an AmEx card worth $25, just for clipping coupons and using the site. It's a no brainer!
I really like Complete Savings. For those who don't understand how they signed up for this, whenever you get a pop-up that says you get a coupon or free shipping, READ THE FINE PRINT! You actually have to click on a button saying that you've read the information before you get your coupon or whatever the bait is.
Here's why I like this company: They sell gift cards to gas stations, stores (Home Depot/Lowes/Macy's and more), and other places for 20% off! You can buy up to $100/month of these cards, but you only pay $80. So right there, you save $20! You can also apply for a check for $10 for any on-line purchase you make (totaling $10 before tax and S&H) each month. So now you've saved $30 - $12/monthly fee = $18 savings. But they also offer other discounts and savings, inc. 24 hour road and tow protection for FREE. I don't have to have AAA, so I saved that monthly fee. (I just found out about this, so I'm excited.) I've had them for at least a couple of years and I'm very happy with them. I just wish they still had gift cards to Target and Amazon, like they used to. (sniff . . . whimper!)
I have had many satisfying experiences with Complete Savings. I have found them to do everything they say they will and I have SAVED MANY HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS over the past 2 years. My advice is that you read carefully and completely everything before you click (sign) and make sure you understand it all. Don't assume anything!
I found this under Perfume Emporium's Privacy Policy:
We never sell, rent, or give out customers personal or financial information to third parties without customers prior consent.
Maybe they got enough customer complaints to desolve their association with Complete Savings/Reservation Rewards/Web Loyalty. One can hope anyway.
And Perfume Emporium.
I'll add Performance Bike to my list of websites to avoid purchasing from. Thanks!
I clicked onto $10.00 coupon on Perfume Emporium which has cost me $580.00 over 2 years Resivation rewards and travel Plus scammed me out of the money
