prepaid rebate visa debit card
When I tried to activate the card the automatic response was that my card had expired and that I have a zero balance. I never used the card and it clearly says that funds do not expire but fees apply.
I have contacted the various email addresses and 800 numbers I can find but to no avail.
I would like for the company to contact me to reissue and send a new card.

rebate
I am extremely angry regarding a rebate that I anticipated receiving when I purchased my 4 boxes of Biofinity Toric contact lenses. All of the websites and businesses that sell these contacts advertise the $50 rebate. I had my eye exam at Marietta Eye Clinic on April 20. I then took my prescription and shopped online as well as in retail stores for the best offer on the lenses. When I contacted For Eyes in Marietta, GA, they quoted me a price and indicated that I would be eligible for a $50 rebate if I purchased an annual supply/4 boxes. I ordered my contacts, paid for them, and then asked how I receive the rebate. They looked through their drawers for a rebate form, could not find one, and then assured me that I could download a form online.
When I just went to Cooper Vision website, I couldn't find the rebate form, so I called Customer Service. The person I spoke to, Jessica, started to ask me questions about where I purchased my lenses and where I had my exam. I gave her that information, and then she proceeded to tell me that I can only qualify for the rebate if I got my exam and lenses in the same place. NO WHERE WAS THIS INDICATED IN ALL OF THE ADVERTISEMENTS FOR THE REBATE!
I am very angry with Cooper Vision and expect them to make this right by providing me the $50 rebate. I DID purchase the contact lenses, so there should not be a bait and switch tactic now that allows them to withhold the $50.
Furthermore, For Eyes in Marietta, GA, who dispensed the contact lenses, should have been aware of this and not promised the rebate to me when they quoted the price.
rebate credit card
Card does not work; card has to be validated; validation doesn't work; told to call number on back of card; no number on back of card; told to call numbers on complaint board; numbers go to hold and then announce office is closed.
Received credit card rebate in january 2018 from october 2017 purchase. Validated card immediately. Went to use card and it rejected saying it wasn't validated. Went on line to validate and check balance. Web site says card is not functional. Told to call number on back of card to validate it. "your card may require activation - please call the number on the back of your card." there is no number on the back of the card. If you want to check this out, use the following information:
Card # [protected]; security code 336. Check balance web site is: www.coopervisionprepaid.com/prepaid.

rebate scam
I have been trying since January to get my rebate. I uploaded everything that was required and they keep sending me emails saying that the "end panels are missing". Not only have they never been missing but I have re-sent them several times and every time I do I get another bs email claiming they're still missing. A class action lawsuit is warranted against this scam company and I'm contacting a lawyer for a small claims court lawsuit as well.

coopervision rebates
After purchasing a years supply of contacts for my daughter and half a years equivalent (my wife only uses one contact) we submitted the information online for my daughter's contacts. This occurred within the first couple of days in January.
In February I was relocated for business. My wife attempted to do a change of address online for the rebate. It is not possible to do. My wife emailed CooperVision about the address change.
In April (I don't understand why in this day and age it takes months to provide a rebate) we were notified via email that they received the rebate back from the initial address it was submitted under. We replied to the email and provided the updated address. They responded that they would reissue the card but deduct $10 for the change of address.
This nit-picky policy has soured me on CooperVision's stance on customer service and I will not be influenced to purchase CooperVision brand contacts based on their rebate program.
CooperVision may value their customers as a whole but as individuals it is obvious they do not. There are plenty of other complaints about their rebate program that you NEED TO TAKE HEED!

the rebate is a scam! such a shady liar!
I was convinced to buy their contact lens because the eyewear store told me about this rebate program. It sounded like legit. I submitted all the documents required and after a while, my rebate was simplify showed as " declined" with a generic reason "The rebate information you have entered has been declined for not meeting the requirements of the program"! The rebate is really a bait to get your buy-in, get your money and leave you hang in there like an [censor]. Such a liar and unethical company!

rebate
I have had 2 reward cards from Cooper Vision and can not use either one of them. I have tried calling, no help, logging into their website, no help again. I will not buy their product anymore. I have purchased year supply of contacts for 2 years now and this bogus rebate from Visa is unacceptable! Visa should not have their name on the reward card either. I also will be letting my eye doctor know not to sell this bogus product and rebate scam. My vision appointments have been in May of 2016 & 2017. I'm tired of trying to solve this problem. Therefore i'm filling a complaint.
I request a refund of my $49 reward card!!!
My reward card states on the front that "FUNDS DO NOT EXPIRE"
I purchased 8 boxes last year, submitted my rebate and received my $49 reward VISA card.
I went to use it today and found out that there was zero dollars and it expired?
I am just ripped off and come to think of it I had just again purchased 4 boxes this year from CooperVision with a rebate of $40 (haven't received it yet)...and If I had known I will be ripped off I would not have shopped here again.
Please refund my $49!

rebate
This company is absolutely ridiculous! All for a $50 rebate I keep getting lied to and jerked around. I sent everything they requested, receipt with eye exam date circled as well as the receipt for my contact purchase and copies of the end panels of my contact lens boxes one for the right eye and one for the left... Still no rebate. I contact them to follow up only to be told that they never received my submittal even though I have printed confirmation... Ok, so whats next, the lady tells me to resubmit through their email. I do that, I then get an email saying they are missing the end panels, are you kidding me... Page 3 of the 3 page pdf file I have submitted since august 29th, so I send another email with the image, even separated the image out attached it again and sent a screenshot... Only to get an email stating the end panels are insufficient. What a joke! If you don't want to honor the rebates don't offer them! Don't waste my time, my goodness the time I spent on this you owe me more than some $50! At this point it is so much principle for for me than the money!

rebate scam - how to fight back
How to fight back - please read
I too got scammed by coopervision rebates. By reports online, this has been happening for a while. Why does it continue? Because not enough people know about the scam until it is too late, so this is still a healthy business practice for the company's bottom line. How do we change this?
1. Help prompt legal action
File complaints with the attorney general in the state of ca and the state in which the rebate processing arm of coopervision operates, currently texas.
While state attorney generals do no get involved in individual disputes, they track the quantity and frequency of complaints against an entity, and the volume of scammed coopervision rebate customers should be enough to warrant action if enough will report.

2. Make the scam visible
Tell your optometrist why you are no longer going to buy coopervision products and request prescriptions for alternative brands. This will get passed from your doctor up the coopervision sales channels, providing a rationale for declining sales that should merit attention within the company.
Leave reviews on complaints sites, warn your conact lens wearing friends, and file complaints and reviews with the bbb. Bbb links may change so if the links below no longer are valid, go to the bbb site for the region and search on the company entity. E. G. Search for the cooper companies on the san francisco bbb site.

Under "the cooper companies" click the plus + next to "review for multiple locations". You'll see the victor, ny location is grouped here, which is the listed hq for coopervision. You do not have an option to file a complaint specifically for coopervision, so click the "select" button on the right for "the cooper companies".in a popup, choose the "select" button next to the victor, ny location. Click "continue". You will now be transferred to the greater san francisco bbb to file your complaint.
Click "click here to file a complaint", answer no to all the questions, then click proceed, and file your complaint.
You may also file a complaint against the rebate arm of coopervision, although it seems to change addresses. There is a bbb link in coppell, tx for coopervision rebates, although the current rebate forms list el paso as the mailing address. While coopervision and the cooper companies may try to distance themselves from the problem by saying they outsource rebate processing, it would be disingenuous to say that they are not aware of the problem (Filing complaints with the parent company also helps prove this), and they therefore appear to condone these ethics.
3. Stop buying coopervision products. There are alternatives.
I got scammed too. Submitted everything they asked for after spending over $600.00 on contacts and they e-mailed back saying they didn’t receive copies of the box tops. The non-user friendly method of submission should have been a clue. They make it difficult to submit the request so that it discourages submissions. Don’t purchase their products.

cooper vision rebate
I see that I'm not alone in voicing a complaint against this bogus rebate. I filed last year and was denied because of a "timing issue", now this year, something else bogus is wrong so there will be no rebate. This is a TOTAL SCAM! People must stop buying their contacts, there are too many other good companies out there. I'm letting my doctors know and everyone else I can. Shame on you, Cooper Vision!
rebate
Coopervision 's rebate program sucks! In my opinion it's a scam. They simply scam you into buying the contacts and they won't give you any rebate. I sent them all the information they needed. They told me to fax or mail them the receipt of the sale. Which I had already sent. I faxed and mailed it to them. It's been at least a month and i haven't heard nothing back from them yet. If those are contacts that you are able to afford go for them otherwise don't even think you're getting any money back! Still waiting for that danm rebate.

c.s. and rebate process is horrible
I purchased a full year supply of contacts and went through the online pre-submission to get a $100 rebate ($50 for the contacts and $50 for the fitting).
I then submitted all my paperwork and made photocopies too. I checked online over the next few weeks and saw my rebate status go from sumitted to validated and complete. After 8 weeks I received my rebate of only $50. I called c.s. to have a very rude man tell me for 10 minutes that my rebate was only for $50 and he doesn't know where I was getting the idea that it would be for $100. He then sent my file to escalation. The following week I went online and saw no change in status so did an online "chat" to be told that I didn't get the additional $50 because I didn't submit my receipt. I did submit it and if I didn't WHY did my status say validated? The chat bot then proceeded to tell me that due to my file being in "escalation", I need to now wait 10 days for them to review and tell me the same info. WHAT? I was also told that I need to submit the ORIGINAL receipt. I CAN'T because I ALREADY DID. They are stating they will not accept the photo copy that they recommend keeping. HORRIBLE and they lost me as a customer.

rebate!
I would like to voice my displeasure with your company. I have used coopervision and been a customer for years and have never been treated so poorly and had to jump through hoops like this before. I submitted my rebate with all of the necessary paperwork and waited three weeks to receive any news (which was not a problem). I then received an email saying my rebate was rejected for not sending the proper paperwork despite my confirming with my eye doctor and lens store that I indeed sent all of the correct paperwork so as I did not call unnecessarily to your company if I was wrong. After confirming I sent the proper paperwork I called hoping to easily fix the issue, only to be met with menu after menu after menu which seemed to be there to hopefully just discourage people from speaking with someone to get their rebate that your company promised. After my 3rd call and more menus I finally spoke to a representative who I had hoped would have been helpful and see the frustration as you're all people too. Instead I was met with a frankly disrespectful agent who seemed more interested in arguing with me than looking into the issue. After he was done arguing with me I asked that he please just take a look, and low and behold within seconds was not only able to find my record but that I had in fact submitted everything properly. He smugly claimed that because my receipts were "Hard to read electronically" that the automated system simply rejected the claim. I asked why was there no fail safe for situations like this and many others likely lost their rebate despite following all of the instructions. I was told to "calm down" as he continued to argue that it was the automated system that failed. I understand it isn't his direct fault for what occurred but I am extremely disappointed that your company boasts rebates and (seemingly purposefully at this point) created a system to make it hard if not impossible for people to claim them. On top of it all I asked for a confirmation email to ensure this time I would receive my rebate and I was told just "No, " and told my card will be in the mail in 4-6 weeks. 4-6 weeks on top of all of the waiting I have already done, the trouble I went through today for the $50 that your company promised is an "Easy Rebate" for choosing you. That's poor customer service without a doubt and although I am certain I will not hear anything back and this email will be deleted without reading because that's what your company has shown to me, and at this point without some sort of answers for what happened I certainly will never buy from you again. My hope is that when I post my experience everywhere I can think of, others see what happened to me and realize they were scammed too and come forward to get the money they deserved for shopping with your company. To cap it all off, after I was told it was approved I checked online and it only says pending! NEVER AGAIN
rewards prepaid card
I am just trying to find out the balance on my pre-paid CooperVision card. I have tried calling the number on the back of the card, only to be put on hold for 30 minutes (twice!). I have tried the website suggested on the CooperVision recording (coopervisionprepaid.com/prepaid) and was not able to access the information because the site would not acknowledge the numbers from my card.
I would like someone to answer to phone!

reward card for purchasing 4 boxes of contact lenses
I purchased 4 boxes of contact lenses with the incentive to use the CooperVision brand, a $50 rebate would be issued in the form of a Visa card. The Visa card was good for only 6 months. It was created on 10/8/2015 and mailed on 10/13/2015. It expired 4/16, $3.00 fees were added each month starting May 3, 2015. To renew to card, in order to use the balance of the rebate issued, there is a $6.95 fee.
This is a ridiculous scheme. The card balance today is $17.02 this includes $9 in fees that have been marked against the card and it's an additional $6.95 to replace the card. My "rebate" should not have expired nor should fees be assessed on the card. I have a Hankook rebate card, valued at $50 that was issued in June 2016, the card is good until 2021.
This is an appropriate amount of time to use the rebate.
Basically the rebate was refunded back to the company. My "rebate" for purchasing these lenses really only amounted to $23.98. If a company is offering a rebate for goods purchased, they, in good faith, should allow the consumer to actually use the rebate rather than slowly suck it back into their company's coffers.
Can someone explain why whenever I try to use my physical reward card it continues to ask me for a pin # when the paperwork states you do not need a pin?
visa prepaid card
I got a rebate from purchasing 2 boxes of Biofinity contact lens. It was a Visa Prepaid card of $60. I tried to activate the card through phone following the instructions : key in the first 6 digits on the card and the tracking number. However I was told it did not match their record.
I hope I can talk to a customer service person but there is no such option or phone number I can called. Very frustrating.
What's the use of a rebate if it can't be used!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
horrible customer service
I sent in my rebate information with all of the required documentation. I checked the status of my rebate about two weeks later and it says invalid with no reason stated. I contact customer service and they tell me that I already received a rebate in February of this year but they would waive that and push through my rebate as a one time courtesy. A week later, the status still says invalid. I contact customer service again and they tell me the same thing - that they would push it through. After two more times of this, another person tells me that I have to resubmit my documentation in February 2015 because it has to be a full year since your last rebate but they would not send me back my paperwork which doesn't make any sense because how am I supposed to submit it when they have it! Also, last year, it took 3 months to get my rebate (I sent it in November and got the rebate in Feb) so its not my fault it took them so long to send $40. What a scam! Needless to say, I am my switching contact lens brand as soon as I can because this is ridiculous to go through all of this for a rebate that they are going to use any excuse possible to deny you of it. I'm glad I wasted my time speaking with the customer service reps that kept telling me what I wanted to hear and not actually submitting my rebate.
terrible product
Okay, so my whole life I have used acuvue lenses, and got them from lens crafters. I moved to quincy a few years ago, and due to money issues, I wore glasses. When my bf offered to buy me a years worth for xmas, I was elated. I went to the local lens crafters and paid the 89 for the exam. I feel like I was duped. I was not told my lenses wouldnt be accuvue-I assumed after I told him my brand, that was what I would get. Not true. I got my box of cooper vision lenses weeks later, and almost immediately had problems. The lenses get so dry in class that I look like im struggling to stay awake, which is not the case. Also I noticed a line in every lense ive opened up so far. Today was the last straw-I put in this pair a week ago, and my eye hurt a bit today, well my contact had an entire third ripped from it, and I dont even know where the other piece is! It could be up my eye for all I know. Why wouldnt lense crafters let me know about the difference in quality? I would have bought my accuvue had I known I was getting coopers, and that they were awful. My bf and I are saving for a house and my glasses are already taped on both sides, ive gone through three pairs in a month and a half! Im very upset and want everyone to know do your research before you go to lense crafters and let them order anything

cooper vision rebate sucks
I had a eye exam at my eye doctor. I bought contacts from him. I sent all the things they wanted for the rebate. They said that I did not send the sales receipt not true that’s the first thing you must send. They told me to resend my receipt which I did it’s been 3 month I tried to contact them they said that they have no info on my rebate. It is sad that...

Hi,
I had the same issue. I called [protected]. The agent tranferred the customer service department. She said you can try [protected], option 2 and another 2. You might want to have the person connect you.
I never bothred to find the terms and condition, but basically after the expiration date, the card iself expires. They will issue a replacement card for $7. You can still recover the rest of the rebate (I got $123 instead of $130).
Hope it works for you!
