I have been a "cougar" (paying member) on this site for three months and have met a lot of young men from it. I agree that most are looking for nsa relationships. The definition of a cougar is usually an older, attractive woman looking for an nsa relationship. Therefore, these young men assume that the cougar sites are a means to having sex with someone more experienced without the "drama" afterward. All the men that I have dated have been gentlemen and I never at any time felt pressure from them to engage in sex. Nevertheless, I have. Many of the men I have sex with never contact me again A few keep in touch and we see each other maybe one or two more times. Much of this has to do with the fact that these men ARE young and very self-centered (by this I mean focused on their lives). It is very hard to find a young man who is ready for a long-term commitment and I accept that going into any date. This is not exclusive to a cougar site. Ive had many young men on a non-cougar site also contact me with the same expectations. It is true that the defintion of a cub is usually someone who engages in a relationship with an older woman for a period of time until the excitement for both of them runs out (ie., proverbally "boy toy"). Many of the "cubs" on cougarlife.com talk about their interests but doing activities together never materializes. To an extent, the cougar, who has the advantage because she is wanted, can shape the dynamics. If she insists on doing an activity, being wined and dined, etc. this is sending a message that we are more than just one-night stands or an experiment, but mature, sophisticated women who deserve respect. Decide what your standards are and stick to them. For example, I dont like crude or lude remarks, but I do enjoy flirting and innuendo. If a cub doesnt present a picture or profile, I dont even respond. I insist on chatting with a cub before I will grant them access to my private gallery or agree to date him. (I wish cougarlife.com provided a way to chat onsite as many others do.) Some scam artists are easy to point out and I report my suspicions immediately. If we each do that we will clean the site up for all of us. All sites have scam artists. Its the nature of the venue, unfortunately. I have found that a good way to separate the "wheat from the shaft" is to chat with them a bit. If they seem only interested in naughty pictures, talking exclusively and explicitly about sex, ask to see you on camera (whether or not they do the same) and then ask you to remove clothing or perform a sexual act, show you explicit photos of themselves without your requesting it, chat in a manner inconsistent for their age, express excessive devotion or a desire for a commitment after just meeting, consistently express a desire to meet but then always having scheduling conflicts, I immediately become suspicious. Yes, there are a lot of obstacles and, yes, each has happened to me multiple times but I have had many enjoyable enccounters. If you are looking to experience intimacy and physical pleasure, then a site like cougarlife.com is a great venue for finding this. My dates have all been interesting and have involved good conversation as well as sex. If you are looking for a meaningful relationship with a young man, I cant say you wont find it on this site but it is unlikely -- just as it is unlikely to find this anywhere else.
One more thing... I am on another cougar site as well, and I find cougarlife.com to be much more attractive. Its appearance is very professional and I find a lot more choices.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
COUGAR LIFE SUCKS!...Thay email you pictures of beautiful ladies that supposeldly want to meet you..ONCE YOU JOIN, YOU WILL NEVER HEAR THEY ### AGAIN!...PLEASE FOLKS RUN LIKE HELL AWAY FROM COUGARLIFE.COM...they are RIPOFFS!...If you have been scamed, my advice to you is to post it on sites like [redacted].com . SOON MORE AND MORE PEOPLE WILL GET CAUGHT ON TO THEIR LIES AND B.S.
The site is clearly rigged, they have a system set up to attract new members. They even say "guaranteed" to get messages from ladies!
How is this promised? Like many mentioned, if you are new, or have an expired membership the drop dead gorgeous lady agents are notified and send you those bogus messages to attract the suckers.
Yes, there are a few "real" cougars on there, but like other say the vast majority work for the house to bring in business to the unsuspecting.
I too would put in my contact info cryptically yet obviously on the profile as I noticed some ladies(that I wasn't attracted to) did as well. Yet whenever I would get my profile checked out by some hot-model-looking cougar, my profile would be edited and then I'd get a flirt/message from them. It became obvious to me, they were working for the site, looked out for the site, etc.
I have emailed them constantly but no one has ever esponded in my 3 emails to them, they know only how to take money and run. Its a complete scam. I can't belive ive wasted my time and money on the ridiculous website thats full of insecure women who don't know how to respond. Or they're bull ### guarantee . they're radio ad states if you don't hook up with someone in a month they you get a month free. Thats bull ###. I've contacted them numerous times with out any response. The worst dating website ive ever joined. Pete M

Cougar life is a total waste of money for the average guy. Who happens to be 90% of the members! Women could fu@% a million guys if they are attractive with this site. Problem is 99% of the attractive female profiles are a scam. I just got off the phone with customer service as I discovered I was signed up for automatic renewal. They asked why I wanted to cancel and I told them. They could care less! Total waste of money -- DO NOT JOIN COUGAR LIFE !
I did not pay so have only guess status hence cantso contact any if of the interested guys. So i want to delete my profile and cant. There ino option to delete in the profile when i click on acciount setting. Theres no one to contact. Anyone have any suggedtions how i got off this site . Rhonda49.
Thanks 'Complaints Board'. It has been VERY HELPFUL to me who's never been on Cougar Life but who's contemplating the idea. It seems that the guys only are complaining about being scammed(?) The ladies complain about the guys' behaviors. I can't help seeing patterns through these posts: MAYBE the 'not good looking guys' aren't getting real cougars' responds (fake ones to lure them in). The cougars are complaining that the (cute &) young guys are just after sex ... Well duh!? They are "good looking YOUNG guys" ! Everyone needs a reality-check, and this site has been EXTREMELY helpful.
( I am a cougar, 46, very attractive, used to be an international model, and chased all the time by guys my age but... I-CAN'T-STAND old guys, sorry! So it makes total sens that IF on this site, I would only respond to the handsome, muscle -up guys! Now, I'm just concerned that CougerLife would use my pic to lure in the poor ugly guys WITHOUT my permitting.) Has any signed-up cougar had that happening?
The cougar site terms of service does state that they claim not to refund money back. Although I am going to make an attempt to get my money back. Make sure you read the terms of service because if it states non refundable then they want money so bad. If they want my $40 really bad then they are lucky. The phone number on the billing is wrong so you have to dial 866 number.
This site is ###, it's a ###ing scam My concern is now is how to cancel the subscription and not have the ### debit my card again - I will probably have to cancel the credit card to protect against fraudulent usage.
I have been trying to delete this account.I have hit unsubscribe numerous times without finding where to delete.
Wtf? A woman of a certain age 40 and up has a seemingly derogatory meaning/word to her "cougar" I find this offensive. How incredibly sexist. Why don't men have a term like this? Like hey mr. Over 40 hummn... Lets see how about dangle sac? Lol it just really bugs me. Myself being 44 in general I think unless a women looks under the age of 35 the men aged 60 and up think they have a shot and our society deems this as perfectly acceptable but when it's a female It's not. It's just not equal someone's gender does not make them better.
If two people are attracted to each other age just simply shouldn't matter unless it would be someone so much younger that it is illegal with which it should be illegal because, in that case it's abuse.
CougarLife.com is a scam, and they hustle you! So when you consider the price options to sign up, you may notice the "Get a date guaranteed". I saw this, and thought, ok, at 33, I don't know if I want to hook up with a 50 year old, but maybe, and if nothing pans out, I get my money back. I received several spam emails on the site. There were some real ones, but nothing I would want to talk to outside of a polite email reply. Naturally, I put a little time here, and a little time there on each weekend to see what was out there, for the 3 month package I signed up for, until I got bored with the site about a month or so in. Forgetting all about it, I happened to be checking my bank account balance and saw a charge from CL Media, this is CougarLife, automatically renewing your account, and charging you AGAIN! Yes, it is in the fine print, but they get you by putting the guarantee out there, like you can "TRY" it risk free. Now...it gets worse! I click on the button on one of the pages, that says CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION, so this doesn't happen again. The next day, when they are open, I call and say, hey, this JUST renewed yesterday, I don't want this, can we cancel this. NOPE! you are stuck for another 3 months, use it or not. So I say, OK, you got this payment on the fine print technicality. BUT, I never went on a date with anyone from the site, so I want my original money back, per your guarantee. The lady tried to tell me no about everything, so I got a supervisor. When he called back, he did lower my renewal to a one month, instead of the 3 month, so I didn't lose as much money. When I said, yeah, I cancelled the subscription, he said...NO, clicking that button gives you THIS number, you have to tell us you want to cancel the subscription, or its still going to renew in 3 months! Finally, thinking ok, so I only have to get scammed for another month, the subscription is cancelled, now if I just get my money back from the guarantee...I'm not that unhappy. Make the best of a bad situation. So the supervisor tells me, "our site IS guaranteed, just go on the site, and you will find this link here, just fill out this form, and you will be refunded". I get on the link, and above the form are the *conditions for guarantee items. They guarantee you will get a date, if you do stupid things that kids do on myspace, like send little digital gifts...10 each MONTH! and a list of things, short of wearing snow shoes for 2 weeks in the summer...to be eligible for the guarantee. Needless to say, I will not be getting my original money back, and I am paying for another month of this crap. They should have to change their name to DragonLife.com, because there are no 35-40 year old women, they are all 50+. And they should have to disclose the facts more blatantly, similar to the old FreeCreditReport.com, and how they had to start explicitly saying "free credit score requires enrollment in triple advantage", so you would know you were signing up for something. Then you would find out triple advantage is their 15 dollar a month credit monitoring service. Anyway...that's my take on them.
Shot I just got paid the forty and now reading all the bad things about this site what do I do! Email me ooec06@yahoo.com I'm 25 male from Minnesota 6 6 220 ok bye
Oiec06@yahoo.com
Hi all, I just signed up with this site...completed my profile, then search for cougars, find one and message her with gift attached to the message. No reply at all, what total waste of time and money. Total scam, spend 61 dollars (cdn) on this crap site.
This site is a total fake. I joined and it seemed the people contacting me were bots. Please be careful when paying to join a site such as this because I've found that most are scams. I thought, I would share a site that has 30 something to 60 something year old married and lonely married and bored and just like to flirt with others in that situation and provide support. They NEVER ask for money. It's completely free. I just thought, I would share it with you all because I to have been ripped off by sites such as the one listed because I am a married person looking for friends and support. Anyways...the site is www.flirtsnfriends.com and again...it's FREE.
I am looking for courgars to date where can I find a website or something to find them! I am 20 and live in Florida. Very attractive guy!
Hello my name is Hunter and I'm 20 I am very attractive! I play college baseball and I'm interested in courgars but can't find a great place or website to find some to date? Any help?
This site is a total Scam DO NOT buy into it or it's commercials.
I have used this on and off for a total of 3 months and met 2 women off this site.
Both didn't work out as one was an hour and half away and We couldn't find a day to meet the other we went on one date and never heard back from her again. So their are actually people on this site but their hidden throughout the 98% of fake profiles. The subscription system is a joke NEVER use your credit card use a prepaid visa as it's almost impossible to cancel your subscription and even if your a day into using it and you don't like it you still won't get your money back. They say that their available 9-5 Monday to Friday which is kind of weird as most people work that time and it's super embarrassing to call but lasts time I cancelled it was relatively easy but don't expect a refund.
But the part that sucks is that they lure you in with emails saying these women have flirted with you and messaged you but as soon as you sign up and reply nobody messages you back and I tried messaging at least 12 women most with filled out profiles none messaged back again some of the profiles I think are old and haven't been deleted as they have no last online date on them. Another thing the messaging system sucks it costs you 5 points to message a person as well as your monthly subscription so when you run out of points for messaging you have to pay again which is I think $25 for 100 more points which is total Waste.
As we'll most of them women I did get a message back said I am too young and I am in my early 20s not sure what the women on this site are looking for as my thought when I think cougar is 40-50 something women looking for 20-30 something man apparently not. They have an unrealistic view of what most of the people whom join want. If you are interested in meeting someone older or younger use a free dating site like olcupid or plentyoffish less BS then this site.
I
for me i haven't checked the site but can imagine from other sites it is a scam or why charge to basically receive facebook?as far as women messaging a guy before they see a picture...well if they are real that is an admirable character and shouldn't be criticized.what because she's not vain?wow!new thing when you start hating on that.there are fake ones out there and can imagine the disappointment and it gets frustrating but best thing to do is go up to random women ask them are you single?i know scary and quite creepy.but i'd rather be creepy and save the 40-50$ that could go towards the date.
I was disgusted and put out by this boy in his twenties that asked me if I was looking to be his sugar momma as he didn't give his out free and he demanded money for his big d#ck. So that's gross crass and illegal. That's when I deleted my account. Not enough good people to outweigh the derelicts and lowlife. Tuck and double tuck. Goodbye cougarlife and good riddance.
Also, I pushed my sent message key a couple of times and guess what? Cougar life sent about 50 messages to 50 guys that I did not choose and told them that I was interested in them . Well, it wasn't true. In fact they sent 50 guys messages that lied to them telling them that I was interested in them. Just press your sent messages girls, you will see. So yes it is true the site uses a girl's profile and pics to lie to the guys. Absolutely true. Also I wasn't into any of them . I sent one message to one guy I liked and he emailed me back 2x. At least I think he was real.
I am a 43 year old successful woman living in South Florida and I have to say that this site has been very good to me. I am attractive and intelligent, but am interested only in a side NSA arrangement. I had more guys interested in meeting me than I know how to handle, some interested in only hookups others in something more long term. Since I am looking for casual fun, it wasn't a problem if the guys were looking for hookups. I have a lot of interest, so it's been easy to pick the guys I want, and it's usually based on looks, education level and intuition. One 22 old wanted something 'more' and even got jealous that I was still on the site and talking to others. That was a bit odd, and unfortunately it ended. The other guys I met with have stayed in touch, and I could meet with them periodically if I'd like to. From my experience, the site is not fake, as there are plenty of eager available guys. I am not sure about the pool of active female members, it's probably a mixed bag. As for me, I'm quite 'real', have a guest account, recent photos that range from g-rated up the scale. From my perspective, the guys who take time to put together a good profile and recent pics are the ones who catch my attention. I completely dismiss profiles with no pics, and pay close to zero attention to those who have pictures but no narrative description, unless the guy is a CK model. And lastly, all the guys I met were under 30. I see no reason to meet with guys 35 + on this website, although I get plenty of them hitting me up. While I understand some of the negative reviews, many sound whinny, even bitter. I also believe that being in a large metropolitan area increases the pool of active members and the chances of meeting someone.
Their commercial has a pornstar named Julia Anne in it (the blonde in the red dress). That right there was a red flag. I have heard nothing but bad things about this site. I even watched a friend start a profile and almost immediately after he was finished he receives about 10 messages from supposed women who were interested in him. Really? That fast and that many?
I paid for a subscription June 20, 2015. I was given 3 options. One seemed more economical, it stated the price and "3 months", nothing else. Clicking on it, it takes you to the payment processing page. I failed to look this page over. The initial price was tripled, and I only found out thru my emailed receipt. The advertised price is PER MONTH, not for 3 months. Added onto this, there is a credit system, which I was not aware of during my purchase. Every time you send me message, you lose credits, so you will likely run out of credits and have to pay even more if you are active. I was really maddened by the marketing scam, deleted my picture and profile information. I called their Customer Service number. Beware: They have a no refund policy, which is apparently available in 3 different areas. They downgraded me to a 1 month subscription, instead of my quarterly, so I got a partial refund which works out to about 40%. This is high end-marketing, bordering being a scam, but they have lawyers write their policies and it's all "legal", just not ethical. Don't expect any customer service from them. I can't comment on the selection from the website. My account shall remain inactive for the month, and I cannot recommend CougarLife under any circumstances. 30 year old professional male
I called myself many times and got this girl that was so ignorant rood and steam pressed talked over me and just wanted money. She had so intorest in genuinly helping me and sounded like i disterbed her movie watching session and wanted me off the phone asap if she couldnt gold dig me.
