Read the fine print! This is their policy: "the general return policy applies to all products except sale items, dresses, and jewelry. You may return product(s) within 14 days for a full refund of the purchase price to the card used to make the purchase." they will only give store credit for sale items, dresses, and jewelry!
I bought a dress, in january, for $350. It didn't fit, so I returned it. And my store credit was for $305. They charged me $45 for the rma, restocking, and shipping. They force you to get the rma. They make their money on these store credits because you have to use it on another dress or accessory, which never adds up to the exact credit. Also, I couldn't find anything else that I wanted, so I was stuck buying items just to use up the credit. The necklace and earrings that I got, to use up the credit, look very cheap. The sunglasses I ordered, came with the wrong lenses. The price was $139. Their vendor mistakenly included couture candy's po, where it showed their price of $62! Yeah, they made out on me, for sure. Don't be a sucker! They are slick! Stay away!
Mother of the bride dress
I ordered the dress and requested to have the dress returned right after receipt. I emailed and gave the federal express tracking formation (I paid the fed express myself to insure the time frame given in returns) it has taken nearly 2 weeks and numerous emails to finally get them to say I did everything correct but they want t give me a store credit which I have responded that this was the first and last time I would order from them. I will call my credit card now to refuse the charges t get the credit. This company is hirrible and you should never order from them. Poor quality, high prices and bad solutions to your request

Purchase a dress $298.00, they never state that if you want to return the items you only get store credit. WHAT? To make matters worse, I received a credit today for $150. I am a senior citizen, age 73, on social security but nothing matters to Couture Candy Scammers Company.
When I was invited to a formal wedding of a relative I decided to make the sacrifice and go to the wedding. I had only been to one other formal long dress wedding in my life.
I purchased a formal dress for over $500. I returned it because it was too small. They got the dress back and I did not get either the money back or another dress!
I finally was able to speak to a representative from their and they said that I could have store credit. Because another relative was marrying I decided to wait and use it to buy a dress for that wedding. The representative neglected to tell me about a six month limit on the store credit. When I tried to purchase the dress it was a few days over the limit so I lost everything!

I bought a dress and it was too big, so I returned it. First of all, they only offer store credit for returns, even when returned immediately, so you can't buy more than one size and return the size that doesn't fit. You have to return each item and wait for it to be processed until you can make another purchase using the store credit.
The real kicker is that if you return an item, they back charge you on the "free shipping, " along with the return shipping and a handling fee. For me this meant that they took almost $50 in shipping and handling fees from me.
Though their return policy does say (if you look hard enough, it's not very transparent) that they will back charge you for the "free shipping, " it is ludicrous that they would charge almost $50. Nowhere does it state the amount that will be charged. I could've gotten the dress altered for that amount.
Formal wear
I purchased a dress for $327.95 and returned it with tags in excellent condition and they verified it was and then only refunded me $49.95! They won't answer their phones - ever ! They are thieves and read the better biz bureau before buying I wish I had order # 166083 aug 22 order date I want a full refund. I was told it met all guidelines and still no resolution. I left messages and no return calls.
The worst place to buy they are thieves they answer you just till you return the items forget the refund even if you get it back it will be 50% percent less of what it should be . Dont ever buy from them.
Return issues
Returned a dress, didn't get money back, company only offered store credit of much lesser value due to multitude of penalty, restocking, shipping, etc. deductions. The company doesn't care about customer satisfaction only about their profit. Customer service is slow to respond and rude. Very disappointing experience, will never shop there again! I recently bought an $300 dress at courturecandy online. I were so disappointed when received the dress. The material of the dress was super cheap, it only deserve an $20 dress that sell from china clothes online. The contour on the breast area looks so fake. Overall, the dress I received was not as fancy as the picture they post on their website. They try to fool the buyers with all the fancy look on their clothes. Don't ever buy anything from this website, just go to Saksofffifth or Neiman marcus. The qualities of the clothes from Saksofffifth or Neiman marcus looks gorgeous and fancy. Coutour Candy won't allow u to return if unsatisfy, you can only get store credit. This is the last time I buy from Courture Candy, they steal people money with cheap and ugly clothes.
Worst online experience i've ever had
I'll keep this short and to the point since my horrible experience is just like the others. I bought two dresses in December 2017 believing I could return if unhappy. They told me processing took two days and shipping is 4 business days. It took twice as much time if not longer to receive my dresses. I missed the date to wear them and they will not give me a refund just instore credit. I've called there number over 20 times and they only answered phone once, promised to return my call, and never called back. They are poor to respond to written contact too. I truly believe this website is a SCAM! I am out over $800 with two dresses I will never wear.

unsuccessful return attempts
A few days ago I made a purchase on their website after reading throughly on their policies. The day my dress arrived I noticed right away it wouldn't fit so I put it right back into the box. I have already made phone calls, sent emails and no response whatsoever. My concern is that the more I wait and keep trying to reach them the 14 days will be over for return. I will never order from this site again and I'll make sure none of my friends do it either as their policies are invalid. I will try one more day by phone and email and if I don't get a response, the next thing to do is contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complain.
wild and crazy policies against customers
I ever ordered the dress they sent me. It was in a red color, even though I ordered a grey one. You know, these colors are completely different. I would understand if the ordered one was pink, but it's not. It's far far far away from the red color.
The quality leaves much to be desired as well. Cheap, thin.
To return it I had to pay a fee. Yeah, I would understand it too, if I didn't like the dress. But it was your mistake and why did I have to pay for this? Wild and crazy policies against customers.

OMG! I completely agree with the other reviews as the exact same thing has happened to me. They have no customer service at all. They charge your credit card and that is it. If you have a return, exchange or need any kind of customer service they completely disappear. Yet I get at least two marketing emails every single day promoting their company. I have emailed 5 times, called 10 times and have not received a response. This is a completely fraudulent company and they are scam artists. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and submitted a complaint. I am also disputing the charge on my credit card. With all the online shopping I have done over the years, I have never had an experience like this. They should be shut down and ashamed of themselves. All they are doing is taking advantage of people and taking their money.

I have tried repeatedly to email and phone this company regarding a return. I have been trying since last week. No one has returned any of my phone calls or emails. The website says that all returns need a RMA number but I can't seem to get one from them since no one is answering my emails of phone calls. VERY frustrating and extremely unprofessional! Ordered a dress from CoutureCandy website for the fist time and received nothing but headache! The dress I've ordered was quite and expensive one but I really wasted to buy it because it looked amazing.
About 5 days later I noticed that someone charged my card and contacted my bank to know who the scammer was. That's how I found out that CoutureCandy was responsible for the missing money.
I went to their website and found out that the price of my dress increased for about 50%! I contacted them right away and asked them to cancel my order but they said that it was not possible because my order was already shipped! They also refused to refund my money!
When I received the dress I was shocked how ugly and poorly made it was! Absolutely nothing like pictures on their website! I wanted to return it but they said that they don't accept returns! These people are thieves do not order anything from CoutureCandy!
Agree with all other comments. Retailer is very deceitful. I CALLED them to discuss once I realized dress was too small. Just wanted size exchange - they would NOT exchange for size. Needed to see my return 1st. OK Fine. Did that! But then there was to be a store credit that I needed to wait for and use against the exchange. WHEN I tried to do that it did NOT work online, so let them know, she said just put it on your card. I did so and also decided to order another dress with that, so full price of both are on my card now. I wasn't concerned and called them again, just thinking they will fix this; an email had said 'we will change 'store credit' to monetary refund' & I should put my 2nd order thru on my credit card. Another call - THEY reversed it - there is NO monetary refunds on anything, only store credit! They lied so it would all go onto my credit card.
So I said - well since you haven't even processed my 2nd order just cancel - I don't WANT $1000 in your store credits. NO again. We are charging 15% on the cancel which since I never got the store credit from 1st order was $675! WHAT? $90 penalty for an unprocessed order ? AND they never applied my store credit so it's all on MY card, and no way to get it back now. They have refused. THEIR 'store credit' routine is total scam. The more you try to fix the problem and order something with your 'store debt' the more money you will be out! BUYER BEWARE
They are crooks, plain and simple. Their return policy posted is NOT what they tell you when you call, they offer a full refund over the phone and no mention of store credit. Low and behold, only store credit is what they give, once they subtract % for discount codes used (a 20% return penalty even if your code was worth 5%) and they lie. Dress we kept was mis-sewn, they told me they'd pay for alterations - $110 for that and they refunded $14. Save your money, save your sanity, order from someone else.
** DO NOT BUY FROM COUTURE CANDY! —TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!** I’ve been dealing with them since January 2019 and still do not have resolution. I purchased a Terani evening gown from them and had to return it as it was too small. I did not receive a refund but told they would give me a gift card to use toward the purchase of anything else on their website. They deducted the discount on the dress, along with the shipping to and from and in the end, I spent more than the original price of the Terani dress on a Jovani dress and 2 very over priced cheap necklaces. Instead of giving me a gift card, they charged my credit card for the 3 items and then after a number of emails and phone calls to them, they credited my card for the Terani dress. When the Jovani dress arrived, the box was beaten up, had a hole in it, the plastic bag which contained the Jovani gown had a hole the size of a fist and the Jovani dress had a clear smear of something resembling clear glue on the rear of the dress. I took pictures of all and emailed them to Couture Candy. No response. I called them, many times ..each time they said they would remedy the situation but they did not. I sent the dress to them so they would inspect the dress and issue me a full refund. They (Jen F/Customer Support) said they would. But then as time passed, and when pushed, she said they cleaned the dress. Yet didn’t offer to send it to me. I emailed and called DAILY and one day the dress arrived without warning and without a packing slip. She claimed in an earlier call that the spot was removed but IT WASNT. They send me back the damaged dress. THEY WILL NOT connect you to a supervisor even though they say they will engage a supervisor. THEY SOLD ME A DAMAGED DRESS AND WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY! Steer clear of them! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! Do not believe any of their positive reviews!
This place is a total scam! They do not care about the customer and have taken every step possible in their return or exchange policy to totally screw the consumer. They will steal your money and not blink an eye. Check the BBB as they DO NOT have an A+ rating as stated on their website. These people should be out of business.
I ordered a dress on January 22, 2019 from Couture Candy. I was told it was a special order and the dress would arrive
on Feb. 9 2019. The dress did not arrive on the 9th. I proceeded to call on Feb. 11 and could not reach anyone. After many tries they finally answered. They looked up my order but could not find anything, yet my credit card has been charged. I was told by customer service(JOKE) I would receive an email by the end of the day, never got it. SCAMMERS - BUYERS BEWARE
I purchased a dress from this site. The order stated it would be able to ship within 3-5 business days, I needed the dress for a friends wedding 3 weeks from the date of purchase. They processed my order and then sent an email stating that this was a special order and my order will not arrive for the next 2 months. When I wanted to cancel, the informed me that I will not be able to get a refund for my dress so I accepted store credit and ordered something else that would accommodate my initial $800 purchase, when the dress came it was nothing like what I ordered. I contacted customer service again and they refuse to refund or exchange. Asked to speak to a manager, was told the manager would call, after 3 weeks, still waiting for a manager to call and nothing. I lost $800.

I choose my size and proceeded to pay, but suddenly the sum changed and the seller charged me for $158. WTF? I sent multiple emails to the seller and asked about the price, but no reply. Bought two dresses and ended up not wearing for the event. Returned both on the required time . When returned they game me 60 percent credit of Purchase . 6 months after trying to use my credit and they said it’s expired . Never heard of such policy , will never buy from them again and hoping other people learn from my mistake .

Couture Candy website hid any refund/exchange terms in between their Great Customer Service, Free delivery and after ordering I realized they only gave refunds on jewelry.
