December 1st I received a collection notification from Credit Collection Services for a bill of $77 due to Allstate Insurance. I told them I canceled Allstate and was paid to date. I then called Allstate and told them I was paid to date. They asked for the Declaration page showing I had coverage from another company for the time they were charging me. I sent it to Allstate and they said I’m all good.
I then received another collection notice on February 26th for the same issue. I called the credit collection agency and then emailed to them the same declaration page proof.
3/7/22 I got a notification from the credit bureau that I have a collection mark on my credit file. I immediately called the collection agency to tell them they are 100% wrong and to take the negative mark away. They will not until Allstate tells them to do so. I am totally in the right here and am paying the price with this negative mark.
