Scam
When I got my license I told them when the dmv asked that I had high cholesterol as a heart issue and took lipitor. The lady checked that I had a heart issue even though I have never heard of this being a driving issue. My doctor faxed in the wrong portion of the paperwork to the alabama dmv and without my knowledge they suspended my drivers license for a...

December 1st I received a collection notification from Credit Collection Services for a bill of $77 due to Allstate Insurance. I told them I canceled Allstate and was paid to date. I then called Allstate and told them I was paid to date. They asked for the Declaration page showing I had coverage from another company for the time they were charging me. I...

Unbelievable! I had insurance with Allstate for 25 years. I finally got tired of them raising my rates out of control. I then got quoted with Farm Bureau, while giving my Allstate agent the opportunity meet the policy price. They did not. Allstate was more than $1000 per year higher! I switched to Farm Bureau and now Allstate (via Credit Collections Services) is trying to collect from me on a canceled policy. In hand policy cancelation from Allstate! In hand new policy with Farm Bureau. They are trying to tell me because Arizona requires car insurance that I have to pay. BULLS**T! My car can sit in my driveway uninsured for my lifetime if I want. What a scam. Obviously Allstate is deseperate! Clearly this insurance company would be a nightmare of an agency to deal with if a claim was necessary! Steer clear! Allstate will never be afforded the opportunity to quote my insurance ever again! This is cleary extortion and harrasment, on behalf of Allstate aka; Credit Collection Services (CCS PO Box 9135 Needham, MA 02494)
Letter of Satisfaction
I had a debt that had arisen out of unpaid damages from an automobile accident. I had established a payment plan and fell behind in payment. My driver's license was suspended as a result. I then paid the debt IN FULL in the beginning of March 2009 and I am still waiting to receive a "Letter of Satisfaction" that is needed in order to have my license reinstated. The customer services reps. tell me it could be another 30-45 days before I can get that "Letter of Satisfaction". It amazes me how quickly CCS was to put a hold on my driver's license when I missed a payment, but it has taken them over a month since the check has cleared my bank for them to get me the document that I need to be reinstated!

Info appearing on credit report as a collection with no contact info. Dont know what collection is for and who it is from.
They sent me a collection notice for no reason. They did not provide any proof of any reason why.
i work for them. im sorry to say it is a screwed up business. the license thing is sensitive. once the dmv approves the request to suspend your license, you better be prepared to wait. i personally am leaving this company. cant stand the way the company operates, treats their employees, and expects us to get money out of people living in this tough economy today. and for those who get phone calls, they wont stop. thousands of new accounts arrive all the time, and if the person using your # has a lot of debt, expect calls for practically ever! good luck everyone, i will soon leave them and let company continue to screw both employees and debtors, or tort feasors for this with accident accounts!
This so called company has been doing the same thing to us. We receive the phone calls all the time and 1 letter has come and it's not a VALID DEBT. I've written back explaining this, and this is harassment. Did it stop - NO. Why can't these people be shut down. I'm assuming they have the same leeway of THEFT that the banks and credit card companies have. Is this a free country - NO. We are whipped into submission every day by these so-called accredited companies.
Kind of reminds me of what has happened in history, like Nazi Germany or KGB Russia. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON a US citizen should be treated this way with the help of government agencies that give them the LICENSE to do it!
KIND OF SIMILAR PROBLEM... (CCS) Credit collection services SUCK! This is their number [protected]. I keep getting a call from them everyday several times a day. I finally answered the phone they ask for a specific person, I tell them they have the wrong number. I ask them to remove my number. They say everytime they will, but they do not. They keep calling and harassing me and are extremely rude over the phone. Will never answer any of my questions, but expected you to answer all of thiers. I called them back, tired of this BULLCRAP. I do not owe them anything, and they will not talk to me that way when calling me. I called them asked to speak to a supervisor. So I got a supervisor on the phone. Explaned to them what has happend. So she asked for my telephone number, then asked me about another person if they live there, I told her no. Then she mentioned another if they live there I said no. Three different people now they have mentioned. I never did give her my name. The third person she asked about, she actually went into detail stating well they did have an account with us but it's paid. Then was phishing around for my name. Never gave to her. Finally told me she would remove the telephone from thier system. We'll see. I'm sure they will not. Any kind of action I can take against them? I do agree on this... THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYMORE...
Scam and cheating
About a month ago I received a call on my cell phone from CCS about a debt that I supposedly owed. I contacting them back and they advised that the debt is from Progressive Insurance. I immediately told the rep. that I am no longer with Progressive and have not been since mid-July. She advised that she was demanding payment for $106.45. I told her that I would have to get in touch with Progressive.
I called Progressive and spoke with a representative there and advised her that I canceled this policy back in mid july and the rep told me I was all clear. She told me that she does not show that I canceled and I assured her that I did. The rep said she would do some research and see if she can pull the phone call from that day and would call me back. She called me back to tell me that I needed to fax a letter because cancellation for my state had to be in writing and the bill would be void. I faxed this letter over to her 2 days later and to this day I am still receiving phone calls demanding payment. I told CCS that they need to contact Progressive as I sent them required information.
The rep got smart with me and told me she was not calling Progressive and it is obvious that I owe. She also asked me to send my declarations page of my new policy - I told her I would not that was none of her business. She told me that I will keep getting her harassing phone calls demanding payment and hung up.
They are very rude, and they try to talk down to you like you are some kind of idiot.

I received a text message today from this CCS group saying I should call them regarding a credit collection issue with Eversource, a power & energy company in eastern Massachusetts. I did have an account with them but it was closed a year ago. I looked on my account page and it reads, "all paid up, nothing due". I can ignore it but want to know if others have ignored these messages but had credit report issues. Thanks.
I changed insurance company's from Allstate to progressive and this collections company says I owe them 159.25 . I called Allstate and they called the collection company while I was on the phone and settled the dispute but this rip off company keeps sending letters that they have reported the money to Equifax and after calling Allstate again and Allstate says its good this company will not stop. Other than a lawyer do I have any other options. Consumer protection agency? or what?
I was told to settle for 400 on a 800 debt, that it would be completely removed from my credit score. Money charged, now they are telling me that I need to pay the full balance and that they will not remove the debt.Rep simply lied to get money, despite recorded phone calls they still said they will not submit removal to The Credit Bureal.
I recived a bill from these scam artists. Saying I owe the general ins company 45.73 I contacted the general and they had on record of me having there service. So I called the a holes at credit collection services in norwood mass. told them what the general said that they needed to confirm that I owe this money they refused which when I challenged the bill by law they must confirm it is mine in writing. they refused to do this so looking for lawyer to sue these scam company
I receive a collection letter for 103.43 from credit collection services on Geico. Funny I never used Geico to my knowledge. I knew it was a scam right away. I have been working on my credit and know what it is. Who can we report this to. They shouldn't be able to get away with this. Think of all the people that just pay it.
I too have received a letter from this Co. for a co I have never heard of. I tried calling but they are closed. I went to there Webb page, but closed it down, wanting to see if they were a scam. Thanks for posting because this is just what I was looking for, as I have no idea who united financial casualty co. is. I will call tomorrow as I am interested to hear what they come up with.
Credit Collection Service has posted a collection on my credit report at TransUnion. I was never contacted in anyway of this supposed debit of $124.00 and no notation of who the creditor is/was.
Email me to discuss your options in dealing with them. I have several that will help.
