DailyPay is stealing people’s paychecks in a whole. they take an instant transfer fee in the amount of $2.99 as soon as you pull money when you punch out from your daily 8 to 12 hour shift. Not only that they take another 299 times how ever many times you have withdrawn in your paycheck cycle whether it’s biweekly by monthly monthly weekly etc. I was robbed over $500 and spent several hours on the phone fighting a customer service representative and arguing about the amount they have taken from my paycheck. There was no resolutions as I called several times to argue the fact that they took the instant transfer fee twice. Let me repeat that they took the instant transfer fee twice stating it’s daily pays money not your money.

Claimed loss: $508

Desired outcome: Refund the instant transfer fees and give me my paycheck that is owed to me for working

You need to make sure that DailyPay is held accountable for this. Gathers any documentation concerning the duplicate charges and pain their customer service again and this time demand the extra fees. Be precise about your request, and let them know that you will go to someone higher up the chain if the service isn’t up to par. If not, then perhaps it can be taken to the BBB or your local consumer protection agency, if neither alternatives are plausible. More so, reaching out to one’s bank could also prove useful in getting hold of some of those unnecessary charges because the bank can dispute the transactions. If things continue to get out of hand, suing them could be on the table.
