After an eye exam with my doctor, his office submitted a medically necessary contact lens claim to Davis Vision back in March 2023- Davis vision sent a note asking for a "correct code" - my doctors office has provided the code and any other requested information a number of times with no results. I spoke in the beginning of September with one of Davis Vision associates who told me that she was going to give the case to Debra (a supervisor) -is now November 14/23 and no response from the supervisor, Debra.
Since, no one has answered. I called again and explain to the Davis Vision associate who answered my call that I have been trying to get this claim approved.
Andre (that is his name) said that according to the notes Debra the supervisor has have this claim on her cue for over four (4) months. Andre said that he is going to send it to her again with a note to please call me and let me know status of claim.
By the way, my doctors' office is tired of sending requests to Davis Vision which gives them no answers at all.
I medically need the contact lenses. I do need help resolving this issue and getting the necessary approval from Davis Vision.
