DeGoo Review: Unreliable and Untrustworthy Cloud Storage Provider - Stay Away!
So, I was using DeGoo for a while and everything was going fine until one day, out of nowhere, they deleted my account. Apparently, their bot thought that I had uploaded something that infringed on their terms and conditions, but I know for a fact that I didn't. I had years worth of photos on that account, and now they're all gone. I tried reaching out to their customer service, but it was a complete waste of time. They were unresponsive and unhelpful, and I never got my account back.
If you're thinking about using DeGoo, I would strongly advise against it. They can't be trusted with your precious data. I'm not the only one who's had a bad experience with them either. If you go to the BBB, you'll see that there are plenty of other customers who have been screwed over by them too.
In conclusion, stay away from DeGoo. There are plenty of other cloud storage options out there that are much more reliable and trustworthy. Don't make the same mistake I did and put your data in the hands of a company that doesn't care about its customers.
DeGoo Review: Lifetime 25 TB Storage Scam - Beware!
I can't believe what happened to me with DeGoo. I paid them $350 for a lifetime 25 TB storage a year ago and I uploaded about 10 TB of my work for my job, which is how I make a living. But then, out of nowhere, they just deleted my account and said a bot detected copyright infringement. But there was nothing in there but my own work! I am so angry and frustrated.
I feel like I've been scammed and I just learned a crazy lesson. I trusted them with my important files and they just took them away without any explanation. It's not fair and it's not right.
I want to warn everyone out there to be careful with DeGoo. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Don't trust them with your important files or your hard-earned money. I wish I had known this before I gave them my money.
I hope that others can learn from my mistake and avoid the same fate. Don't let DeGoo take advantage of you like they did to me. Stay safe and protect your files with a more reliable and trustworthy service.
DeGoo Review: Lifetime Subscription Scam and Privacy Violation
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with DeGoo. I signed up for a lifetime subscription, thinking I was getting a great deal. But boy was I wrong. When I tried to cancel my contract, they accused me of copyright infringement and shut down my account. What a bunch of liars and thieves!
And don't even get me started on their so-called "safe and encrypted" files. If they're really encrypted, how are they able to flag my files for infringement? It's pretty clear that they're snooping through all of my files, which is a major violation of my privacy. I wouldn't trust them with any sensitive information, that's for sure.
Overall, I'd say stay far away from DeGoo. They're not to be trusted, and they're definitely not worth your hard-earned money.
Degoo Cloud Storage Review: A Complete Scam and Breach of Privacy
I recently had a terrible experience with Degoo, the cloud storage service. I was excited to try it out, as it seemed like a great way to keep my files safe and accessible from anywhere. However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration and anger.
First of all, I received an email from Degoo claiming that they had scanned my files and found some content that infringed on copyright. They listed a few files that supposedly contained this content and threatened to terminate my account if I didn't remove them. The problem was, these files didn't even exist on my computer! I was baffled and angry that they would make such false accusations.
But that wasn't the worst of it. I soon discovered that Degoo is a complete scam. They don't actually keep your files safe and secure. In fact, your personal data may not be secure at all and could be shared with other companies. They are scanning your files, which is a serious breach of privacy.
I was so disappointed and frustrated with Degoo that I immediately removed all of my files from their service. It was a total waste of time, money, and effort. I would strongly advise anyone considering using Degoo to think twice and look for a more trustworthy and reliable cloud storage service.
In conclusion, I cannot stress enough how important it is to protect your personal data and files. Don't trust these clowns at Degoo. They are a crappy fraud cloud storage service that will only cause you headaches and heartache. Stay away from them at all costs!
DeGoo Review: Great for Free Cloud Storage, but Lacks Support and User-Friendliness
DeGoo used to be a great automatic backup service, but now it's just a cloud storage provider for those who have a free account. The change was sudden and without any warning, which left many users confused and frustrated. The web interface is not user-friendly, especially if you're trying to find a specific photo. It's clunky and slow, which can be frustrating when you're trying to access your files quickly.
The biggest issue with DeGoo is their support. It used to be responsive and helpful, but now it's practically non-existent. If you have a problem, you're on your own. This lack of support is a major concern for many users, especially those who rely on DeGoo for their important files.
Despite these issues, DeGoo is still worth considering if you're looking for a lot of free cloud storage. If you don't mind manually uploading your files and dealing with the clunky interface, then DeGoo is a good option. However, if you're looking for a reliable backup service with good support, then you might want to look elsewhere.
Overall, DeGoo has its pros and cons. It's a good option if you're looking for free cloud storage, but it's not the best choice if you need a reliable backup service with good support. If you're already invested in DeGoo, then it might be worth sticking with it. However, if you're just starting out, then you might want to consider other options.
DeGoo Review: Lack of Security and Privacy, Not Recommended for Cloud Storage
So, I decided to give DeGoo a try and bought a lifetime account. At first, everything seemed to be going well. I was able to store my files in a zip format without any issues. However, after just 3 months, I received an email from DeGoo stating that I was infringing copyright and that my account would be deleted in 2 weeks. I was shocked! How could this be possible? I didn't have any videos or images that could have caused this issue. It seems that DeGoo has the ability to look at your files, so be careful what you store on their platform.
To make matters worse, their security is terrible. They don't offer 2FA or even send an email when you log in from a new device. It's like we're back in 2009! I don't feel safe storing my important files on their platform anymore. It's clear that DeGoo doesn't want their users to actually use all of their storage. They seem to be more concerned with monitoring our files and deleting accounts.
Overall, I would not recommend DeGoo to anyone. Their lack of security and privacy is a major concern. If you're looking for a reliable cloud storage provider, look elsewhere. Don't waste your time and money on DeGoo.
DeGoo Cloud Storage Review: A Lifetime Scam with False Promises and Shady Business Practices
So, I signed up for DeGoo's cloud storage service because they advertised "lifetime subscriptions" and claimed to offer zero knowledge encryption, which means that only I would have access to my files. However, after less than a year, they accessed my files without my permission and then accused me of violating their policy by allegedly having copyrighted material. They then tried to terminate my lifetime account, which is a complete scam.
I tried to get answers from DeGoo by sending them many requests, but they never responded. It's clear that they lure people into their so-called lifetime subscription with false promises and then break those promises by randomly picking any files to claim that you don't own them. Their appeal process is a joke, and no one will actually respond to you.
It's clear that DeGoo is stealing people's money in a long-term scam. I would not recommend this service to anyone, and I urge you to stay away from it. There are plenty of other cloud storage services out there that are much more reliable and trustworthy. Don't fall for DeGoo's false promises and shady business practices.
Degoo Review: Reliable and Easy-to-Use Online Backup Solution with 100GB Free Space
Degoo is a fantastic online backup solution that is headquartered in Sweden. It is a free, automatic service that provides you with 100 GB of free backup space. If you need more space, you can purchase it. All files are encrypted using military-grade encryption (128-bit AES) and stored at multiple locations to ensure maximum reliability.
The best part about Degoo is that it is incredibly easy to use. All you have to do is download and install their application, select the folders you want to backup, and let Degoo do the rest. The service will detect any changes and backup your files automatically every 24 hours, or immediately upon selecting the option. Even if you turn off your computer in the middle of a backup, Degoo will resume your backup when your computer is switched on again.
One thing to note is that unlike many other cloud storage sites, Degoo does not offer a preview of your files. This is why I rated it 4-stars. However, this is a minor issue, and the service is still incredibly useful.
If you sign up for Degoo using this link and your email address, both you and I will get an extra 3GB of free space. Once you create an account, you'll get your own link and can earn up to an additional 500GB of space.
Overall, Degoo is an excellent online backup solution that is easy to use and provides reliable backup for your important files. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable backup solution.
Degoo Review: Unfulfilled Promises, Terrible Customer Service, and False Promotions
Hey there,
I've been using Degoo since March 2021 and I have to say, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are so many issues with their services that it's just not worth it.
First of all, when I signed up, they promised me 100 GB of free storage. But a few weeks ago, they cut that offer down to just 20 GB. And the worst part is, they didn't just do it for new users - they took away 80 GB of storage from existing customers like me.
And if that wasn't bad enough, they also threatened to delete my account if I didn't delete the excess storage that I had. Apparently, it was my fault that I had more than 20 GB of storage, even though they were the ones who changed the rules.
But the real kicker is that there's no customer service to speak of. All I got were threats and no help whatsoever.
When I tried to download my information, I found out that I could only do it file by file. And if I wanted to download by folders, I had to pay for it. It's ridiculous.
And even if I did want to download my information file by file, it would take me two weeks to do it. That's just not acceptable.
On top of all that, they have this promotion where you can watch commercials and get 750 MB of free storage as a reward. I spent a lot of time and resources watching those commercials, and I managed to go from 100 GB free to 1.6 Terabytes free.
But then, without any notice, they took away all that storage and left me with just 300 GB. They made money off of me watching those commercials, and then they just took away what I had earned. It's like they just stole my storage.
And now they're saying that the 750 MB storage reward for watching commercials only lasts for 28 days. What's the point of having storage that expires in less than a month?
When the promotions for watching those commercials began, they didn't have an expiration date. But now they do, and it's just another way for Degoo to cheat their customers.
Honestly, I wouldn't believe anything that Degoo offers. They'll take away your storage without warning, threaten to delete your account, and offer false promotions.
And don't even think about purchasing a paid plan with Degoo. They're just going to default on that too.
I'm affiliated with several other internet storage services, and they're all much better than Degoo. They actually deliver on what they promise, both in their free and paid options.
So don't make the same mistake I did. Don't trust Degoo - they're unfulfilled, liars, mediocre, and arrogant. And they have no customer service to speak of.
Any other internet storage service you come across will be better than Degoo. Trust me, they're the worst of the worst.
Degoo Cloud Storage Review: Shady Business Practices and False Accusations
Degoo is a cloud storage service that has been around for a while now. As a user of their service, I can confirm that they are still carrying out the same shady business practices as before. They hide behind a 'bot' that claims you have been uploading and sharing content that you do not own. I first encountered this 'bot' in 2021 when it accused me of this, so I uploaded proof which Degoo accepted. However, in 2023, I received a message from Degoo claiming the exact same thing with the same content. I replied to explain this to them, and this time they claimed my 'appeal' was rejected.
I replied again with additional evidence and explained to them what will happen if they delete my account. They said "Unfortunately, uploading copyrighted materials, even legally purchased ones, is not allowed". This information is going to be used against them because if it is legal to have the files on your computer, it is also legal to have a backup of those files. It also does not infringe their own terms and conditions. They may claim it infringes 7.4, but in fact, it doesn't since no laws are being broken. Of course, if you're sharing copyrighted content, it would be a different story.
I will not stand for companies trying to accuse their customers of breach of contract as a way to get out of providing lifetime services. I paid a one-off fee for a lifetime 10TB Degoo Ultimate subscription, and that is exactly what I'm going to get from them unless they want to see the consequences of their actions.
Ironically, they do provide the service they claim to provide in that you can upload your content to their site for backup purposes. What you need to watch out for is their company trying to renege on the service you paid for under false pretences. Be sure to do your research and hold their owners to account.
On 17th May 2023, Degoo changed tack and no longer referred to sharing content after I proved that I could not be possibly sharing anything from there. On 17th May 2023, 'Gerry' at Degoo said "Hello, Unfortunately, uploading copyrighted materials, even legally purchased ones, is not allowed. Deleting flagged files after they were found by the copyright bot is not a valid reason to approve an appeal or cancel file deletion. The account is unlocked and any active subscriptions are reinstated. Unfortunately, your files are no longer recoverable. Sincerely, Gerry, Degoo Support".
The problem with Gerry's message is that there is no law against making a backup of your content regardless of whether it is copyrighted (if it's legal on your computer, then it's legal in backup form elsewhere). There are, of course, laws against sharing copyrighted content, but my lifetime account with Degoo came with sharing disabled. In the absence of laws, the question of whether backing up copyrighted content where the customer has paid for the content comes down to the terms of service. Degoo's terms of service as of 16th May 2023 do not mention the backing up of content which the customer has paid for.
Unfortunately for Degoo, I will not let this matter rest until I receive a formal apology from one of their key players for actively trying to close lifetime accounts under false pretences. I shall update this review if I receive such an apology. In the meantime, I have reported the matter to various authorities governing companies such as this in Sweden, starting with The Swedish Consumer Agency, who have opened a case for the matter. I strongly advise other victims to do the same to stop Degoo doing the same with others. Keep records of your communications with Degoo as evidence.

DeGoo Review: Reliable and Easy-to-Use Cloud Storage with Free 100GB
So, I decided to give DeGoo a try to see if it could help me out. And I gotta say, it's been pretty good so far. The interface is easy to use and I was able to quickly upload all my important files and photos. Plus, the free 100GB of storage is a nice bonus.
One thing I did notice though is that the upload speed can be a bit slow at times. But hey, it's free so I can't really complain too much. And I haven't had any issues with my data disappearing like before, so that's a relief.
Overall, I would recommend DeGoo to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use cloud storage option. Just be patient with the upload speed and make sure to back up your important files regularly.
DeGoo Review: Disappointed with Lack of Customer Service and Storage Issues
So, I signed up for DeGoo and paid for storage. But when I checked my dashboard, it says I'm using hundreds of MB of storage, even though I haven't uploaded anything yet. I was pretty confused and worried about it, so I reached out to their support team by opening a ticket several months ago. But, unfortunately, I haven't received any response from them yet, even though I've asked them several times.
I'm not sure what's going on with DeGoo, but I'm pretty disappointed with their lack of customer service. I mean, I paid for a service and I expect to get what I paid for. It's frustrating to not get any help or even a response from them.
I'm not sure if I would recommend DeGoo to anyone at this point. If you're looking for a reliable cloud storage service, you might want to look elsewhere. It's a shame, because I was really hoping that DeGoo would be a good option for me. But, unfortunately, it seems like they're not living up to their promises.
Overall, I would say that DeGoo is a bit of a letdown. If you're thinking about using their service, I would suggest proceeding with caution and maybe looking for other options as well. Hopefully, they'll improve their customer service and fix the issues with their storage soon. But until then, I can't say that I'm very impressed with them.
DeGoo Customer Support Fails to Help with Lost Memories: A Frustrating Experience
scenario! I contacted customer support and they were not helpful at all. They kept telling me to check my settings and that it was my fault. I know for a fact that I did not delete anything and my settings were not changed. It's frustrating to lose all my precious memories and not have any help from the company. I do not recommend using DeGoo for cloud storage.
